Hey everyone,
Long time follower of XDA, first time poster.
I've got a custom ROM (eclair 2.1) which i've been porting running on a custom omap device for a little project of mine. Everything is fine, I have most Gapps working (Nav, Maps, Places etc.). But I can't seem to get VoiceSearch to run without giving me "connection problems" issue.
I've extracted Gapps packages from CM5. pushed NetworkLocation.apk (which solved a networkprovider error earlier) and the VoiceSearch 2.1 apk with still no luck.
Log cat is not throwing back any errors. Mic works fine, 3G works fine. I just get the "Connection problem" when ever the speech recognition intent is called. I don't understand what the problem could be...
So i'm hoping someone can explain what requirements, missing packages (etc.), i need to get it running
Thanks in advance
Hello devs,
recently I updated to the last android sdk and got really excited about the new features. As the time goes by I noticed some annoying issues.
1.
Problem: Eclipse marks some line of code that is correct, as an error.
Solution: Project -> Clean
2.
Problem: When referencing a library project everything compiles fine and works fine when running from eclipse. But when you export the application and then download and run it, you get a "Class not found exception" sometimes.
Solution: Project -> Clean (project and library project)
This last one was really an issue to me because I ran the app from eclipse, worked fine and then published it to Google play and got lots of Force close ratings without knowing why!
I'm wondering if there are other people with the same issue out there?

Hi all,
2 days ago I started to use Bluestacks on my Windows 10 laptop and for a day it worked perfectly, truly flawless, I only play one game (Kritika) and that game had a major update and after that update the app starts but I keep getting this error message about xigncodehack detected or something.. So I tried yesterday evening to look for other emulators, to see if they had the same problem, but since there are more emulators out there than I thought, I don't know which one to choose which is best, personally I installed Bluestacks because it was the only emulator that I knew about, so my question basically is if anyone knows how to fix that hack error to play Kritika or if someone knows which Emulator doesn't have that problem and is better than BS? Also for if I wanted to play other games, it would be nice to have like a real android UI instead of the slimmed down version of BS imo..
Hope someone can help me?
Hi - I'm working on my first Android app and recently it started randomly crashing. By this I mean the app just closes and I'm taken to the home screen as if I've swiped up (search). I get no dialog box or notice or alert that something happened. This does not happen on the iOS build. I'm the only tester on Android unfortunately so I can't tell if it's something with the Android build, or my device. The Android Simulator does not crash either. Furthermore the Expo CLI doesn't say anything either. It's like, as far as code goes, it's fine.
Anyone else had this happen? How do I debug something like this? Thanks!
