does taking a screen shot work on kitkat? - AT&T LG G2

Power + down doesn't work anymore

You definitely happy the time it just right but you can always do a quick my memo instead of trying to do the power and volume down seems to be fast and efficient for me.

The trick is to hold down the buttons for 1 sec or so. I used to have so many issues with taking screenshots, but once I figured out that I needed to hold the buttons for a little bit, all was great!

[Q] Any Screenshot Shortcuts in mik_os [LGP500] CM7 6.5.7?

Hi!
I'm new here in xda. Can't post or reply directly on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=946354 to ask.
It is really hard to get the options when you press the power button.

You have to be really precise in timing it or else you'd just lock your screen.
My question is: is there any combination key, shortcuts, widgets or anything that would allow us to access the built-in screenshot app of this rom when necessary (apart from pressing the power/lock button) which normally locks the screen and makes any open app (which by the way intended to be taken a screenshot) force close?
I searched the forum but got no answers. Hope someone could help me out.
Thanks!

? Just long press the power button, the menu will open but not close anything else.
Select screenshot, after ~3seconds a screenshot will be taken.
If your rom is rooted there are apps for screenshots too, i.e. trigger through shake.
and you can still post in the general section even though you're new

Yeah I actually have shootme right now but I was hoping that there's some kind of way it can be accessed aside from the power button.

Open framework-res.apk with apktool and add them

If you need help, give me your framework-res.apk, and I'll help you. There are tutorials on how to get it though, search for "XDA enable ICS onscreen buttons" on google.

I would like to see if it is possible to replace the hardwarekeys to the ics ones, the menu button to the multitasking button. That would be nice

I need to enable it in order to develop some apps but now after update I think is gone.
I'm running Android 4.0.3 .

I just got mine and I'm not sure whether it came with 4.0.3 but it ran an update and now it has 4.0.4 and this version has usb.debug.
I would sene a screen shot, but don't know how.
Quick question - how did you make the screen shot? I tried all the button combinations on mine and none of them worked. I read in a forum that it's volume down + power button, but it didn't work. Thanks in advance.

[Q] how to see screen on time on htc one m8

I have looked through the battery stats but I can't find where it shows how long my screen has been on. This was on my gs3 with cyanogenmod, is the feature there or can I download an app to tell me?
I didn't see it in the OS either, but the GSAM Battery Monitor App can do it.

Must be.
Honestly, this is a first on any android device I've ever touched and owned, and I've had A LOT of phones. Makes no sense to me.
I spent hours looking and just accepted it as fact. Wonder if it's a bug, and I also wonder how easily someone could splice it into the code.
I'm decent with DBs and code, I just don't know where to look here.

Wakelock detector or better battery stats. The latter does more.

disable volume warning?

I'm not rooted, is there a way to stop it from coming up? It's very annoying. Comes up everytime I connect my BT headset........
Yes it is very annoying. I wish it would just remember the setting i had last so i dont have to click ok and then turn the volume up all the way every time i plug it into my car.
Sad to here this happens on bluetooth as well.
Sent from my SM-N930P using Tapatalk
You can turn it off in settings. I turned it off on mine. Just type volume in the search bar and I'm sure you'll see the option. It's kinda oddly hidden in the audio menu somewhere. I returned my Note 7 last Friday, otherwise I'd tell you exactly where to go.

This didn't work for me either, it seems that setting is only to allow you to set an actual limit on volume (for kids).
Yeah same here. After a reboot I still get the high volume warning.
I was able to turn it on and set a custom limit. I'll get the notification but it won't be until I max out.
Not me. Doesn't matter where input it I still get the same warning.
