I need to enable it in order to develop some apps but now after update I think is gone.
I'm running Android 4.0.3 .

I just got mine and I'm not sure whether it came with 4.0.3 but it ran an update and now it has 4.0.4 and this version has usb.debug.
I would sene a screen shot, but don't know how.
Quick question - how did you make the screen shot? I tried all the button combinations on mine and none of them worked. I read in a forum that it's volume down + power button, but it didn't work. Thanks in advance.

Hi!
I'm new here in xda. Can't post or reply directly on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=946354 to ask.
It is really hard to get the options when you press the power button.

You have to be really precise in timing it or else you'd just lock your screen.
My question is: is there any combination key, shortcuts, widgets or anything that would allow us to access the built-in screenshot app of this rom when necessary (apart from pressing the power/lock button) which normally locks the screen and makes any open app (which by the way intended to be taken a screenshot) force close?
I searched the forum but got no answers. Hope someone could help me out.
Thanks!

? Just long press the power button, the menu will open but not close anything else.
Select screenshot, after ~3seconds a screenshot will be taken.
If your rom is rooted there are apps for screenshots too, i.e. trigger through shake.
and you can still post in the general section even though you're new

Yeah I actually have shootme right now but I was hoping that there's some kind of way it can be accessed aside from the power button.

Open framework-res.apk with apktool and add them
Sent from my GT-S5660 using xda premium
If you need help, give me your framework-res.apk, and I'll help you. There are tutorials on how to get it though, search for "XDA enable ICS onscreen buttons" on google.

I would like to see if it is possible to replace the hardwarekeys to the ics ones, the menu button to the multitasking button. That would be nice

So I found a cool app on my ICS leak, randomly appeared after a reboot.

Really fun app to test everything. I read its what is used to test quality at factory.
Thought it would be fun to share

Interesting.... thanks for sharing. Maybe post the APK as well? Next time please post it in the proper forum, as it should be in Themes and Apps.
It appeared after a reboot? I've not seen it. I've rebooted multiple times. I reboot after every full charge cycle. Moto is starting to scare me. Anyone else have this?
Edit: its in the system app folder but I have no way to launch it. Weird.
I will figure it out once my upgraded shows up.

using the stock. I would root but I'm not 100 percent about the boot locker unlocking. If it wasn't locked I would have rooted already.

I agree to try a factory reset. I see from another thread that you're also having issues with Youtube. Neither Youtube or the camera crashing are common/known issues. Try a factory reset, and if the phone is less than 30 days old, exchange it (for AT&T, or whatever the exchange period is if you are on another carrier). Not worth messing with it if you are still within 30 days, as it seems the phone may have some software or hardware defect.
I reset its not as bad as it was and my YouTube is working now

Hi! Since two weeks that I own my x10i I've seen a lot of patches and theads with the words "soft keys" to enable or disable it.
I guess they aren't keys made of velvet
Thanks and sorry for the noob question
I believe what you're talking about are the touch screen nav bar buttons found on ICS and +
or the capacitive buttons?

Moved to he Q&A sections, please use the Q&A for questions. Thank You.
Soft keys normally mean the virtual keys normally found on devices that dont have the back, home, menu etc hardware keys.
However they can be switched on in a custom rom on devices that do have hardware keys
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
keys on the screen, as opposed to those built onto the hardware
kinda like software vs hardware
Ok! Thank you very much!

Softkeys can also be the apps "button savior" and "softkeys (for root users)"
Sent from my MB508 using xda premium
It means that the buttons aren't real but they are displayed on the screen
