Dear All, Assalaam O Alaikum!!
I have Motorola Moto G XT1032 16GB Version, I searched a lot on this forum, but there are too many threads for rooting. Please suggest me the safe way to doing the same. If anyone has the same variant and he/she performed rooting and installed custom recovery than please guide me the way or suggest me the correct and updated thread. On another forum/website I also read about Moto Tool for rooting and installing custom recovery please also confirm is it safe to do so. And in last please also help for installing custom recovery as above mention variant has any custom recovery available pr not.

If you'd like to change your device the first step is rooting. There are a lot of tutorials out there, just google it or search on the forums. When you are rooted and have unlocked the bootloader, you can flash your (custom) rom. The easiest method is probably to install rom manager then first flash CWM recovery, then select and download your rom and flash it. Once you have your new rom and a new kernel you can overclock your device.
For further instructions, just GOOGLE IT and search on the forums.
If anything said here is incorrect please correct me, but I think this is basically it.

hi everyone i have bought a moto g last week
i am not a developer i got to know that there is a custom kernel available for moto g with which i could overclock my phone
but the problem is that i am new to all this and dont know how to flash a custom kernel and i am afraid that i could go wrong
so i am posting this question so that i could get some help
can anyone with moto g or with the knowledge tell me in steps how can i flash this kernel
before flashing this kernel i need instructions on how to backup my stock kernel and rom so if anything goes wrong i can correct it
i have rooted my phone already..........
so anyone with the knowledge or moto g can please make a video tutorial or still images so that i could understand properly how it works
and also there are many links in the custom kernel post which i didnt understand so please someone help me...........

I have a lg g pro e988 indian version. Having some difficulty in installing custom recoveries using freegee or any other apps. Everytime i get to see SECURE BOOTING ERROR. Can u give me a solution to ths.? Please provide me the steps to install a custom recovery like cwm or twrp

Hi, im a new user to this device but not to android and i need some help getting root,twrp and maybe custom kernel on te stock 6.0 rom of moto g 3rd 2/16gb european version. can someone of you post me a guide to do this? i dont wanna brick this thing thanks
