Ack 71 shipped all together. Now i have three wireless chargers

Ordered mine!!! Would have liked a lower price, but I bought it anyway.

PureMobile (Canadian mobile accessories store) tweeted today that they're expecting the orbs to be in stock in March. I'm guessing Google Play Canada will be getting their stock the same time if not sooner.
I just hope that the magnets will be strong enough the hold the phone with a thin case in place. I'm rocking a diztronic TPU and just ordered the hybrid fusion

Does anyone know if this will work with if my N4 has a Poetic slim case on?

Please excuse my ignorance - how is this more convenient than a regular charger? You still need to plug in the orb to the wall socket when you want to charge the phone, don't you? So isn't the orb really just a fancy replacement of the micro usb plug, without any real added value?

As long as its still on the older firmware the issue has not been resolved. Look at ROM's like Mint Jelly. They use the latest Samsung firmware, and it has fixed the smearing issue.

it's a kernel issue; you have to flash KT kernel or another MEA samsung base to get the smearing issue to go away.

Do they make the red in 32gb?

I work at Sams in the cell phone dept....the red ones barely sell.... as the black and white sale crazy fast....you won't be able to get nice looking case with the red s4.... it's just an odd color to have....but to each it's own....

I too work at Sam's tried getting into the cell phone area but they weren't hiring in that department lol I'm in the bakery xD anywho I really want the purple. Blue may sell a decent amount but who is gonna buy the brown? Lol

I agree with you. My wife has the red S3 and thats all she complains aboit is that its an ugly color and there is not good looking cases for it..

I just picked up the red one and put a black/clear Ringke Fusion case on it to show off the back. The Black/Red contrast is actually quite nice in my opinion and really stands out.
To each his (or her) own though!

Im using an otterbox and it seems to provide alot of protection

If you want the most heavy duty case I dare you to spray down an ottrrbox or uag case with that tough coat of bedliner spray they use for pickup trucks.
You will have prob have the sickest case out there

ive had this case now for like a month and even tho its very bulky gosh darn does it get the job done. i work in a warehouse type deal and it has all cement floors ive dropped this phone say... maybe 5 times from chest height and im 6 foot this thing just bounces around cause of the rubber corners and you dont even hear it fall. its a great case i do hate the built in screen protector that kinda like the otterbox one just take it off, its also a little harder to use the pulldown menu with the little part along the top. tough as nailsss

Third replacement from Verizon incoming

My phone had really bad screen burn in, asked for a replacement under warranty.
The replacement apparently had a motherboard defect, eventually not recognizing the battery and all sorts of other crazy behavior.
The second replacement has a dent in the glass (not crack), and under that dent are some black ghost images that look like crack lines. As if someone cracked their screen and Verizon never replaced the digitizer/Amoled panel, just the glass.
I'm worried this will get worse, and then Verizon will claim I did it and that it voided the warranty. So I'll send this one back too.
Let's see how many replacements I can go through before one works how I want it to. :good:

I got into the habit of taking my sealed refurbished phones with me to my bored Verizon corporate store and opening them with the manager. We both got some laughs at the utter crap they send out. I never wanted blamed for their mess.

You can of course ask to recive a new and not a refurbished one. I had an issue with the charge port not accepting the cords so I called they sent a refurbished with the same issue so I called again and asked for a new phone not a refurbished as I already had issues, and they sent me a brand new one. It never hurts to ask.

I agree, at this point I would pretty much demand a new phone after you've already received 2 bad refurbs.

I got some horrible replacements sent to me when I had a Galaxy Nexus...I think 5 altogether (I then demanded to be sent an s3, and they actually agreed). I even had a replacement s3 sent to me that lasted for all of two hours before the backlight died. I never got a new phone sent to even though I asked multiple times... But you never know until you ask.

I wish I would have done this! I received the third replacement today, and it's "STA" date on the back is 1/11/2014.
Unfortunately it has 4.3 already installed on it. So only possibly root for me.
I thought it would be new because of that date, but I did a screen test, and it still isn't a new phone, there are dark artifacts. Testing everything out right now to make sure its ok.

after the third swap theyll give you a diffrent phone if you ask

So do you think that any replacement phone that is sent out from now on will already have 4.3 stock on it? Yikes!

With my luck they'd give me a Galaxy S3 Mini, haha (I'm assuming you can't choose the phone?). This latest replacement, albeit pre-flashed 4.3, is fine so far. I'm happy with just root and safestrap for now. My Nexus 7 (2013) is my toy now. :good:

Gotcha. Hmm, interesting. I wonder if these artifacts in the screen justify a replacement. In daylight they're invisible, but in a dark room they're visible (reading in bed or so).

Yea, same with screen burn-in right (eventually)? I was surprised Verizon replaced that initially and didn't say "it's normal wear".
Makes you wonder if the S5 will have a different screen

Oh you're lucky. I got mine on launch day, early July 2012. By December 2013, it had the keyboard burned in (I could see the keys), the notification bar, and the Whatsapp header bar burned in. And that all was visible during any kind of screen.
Maybe it was the first run of devices that had it.

Oh my god this reminds me of when I went through literally 7 krazrs and they gave me an ultimatum...to pay like, 70 or 100 to keep the same phone or go to a lesser flip phone...i left and went to another verizon and they let me upgrade to a legitimate phone...

Got mine same time as you and my screen is still fine, guess I don't have a single app open long enough to leave an imprint.

Sport straps have arrived on Ebay for relatively cheap.

Has anyone tried them out? I just purchased a brown one for under $10. I figure it's worth a try for that price point. Much easier to stomach than the outrageous $49 Samsung wants. I guess the biggest concern is whether it'll make my wrist breakout.

I just received a blue one from ebay. Little difficult to clip in, but seems secure once attached. Band is a bit more flimsy than samsung bands. Clasp is shiny instead of a matte. I'm also concerned about what it will do to my wrist. So, I guess we will see.

At least you got yours. The vendor emailed me last week saying that it was out of stock and then canceled my order and refunded me. Could you post a picture of it?

What color did you order? I thought I was getting a dark blue and a light blue. The light blue looked like a baby blue on the listing but it is more like a fitbit slate blue.
