Im using an otterbox and it seems to provide alot of protection
If you want the most heavy duty case I dare you to spray down an ottrrbox or uag case with that tough coat of bedliner spray they use for pickup trucks.
You will have prob have the sickest case out there

ive had this case now for like a month and even tho its very bulky gosh darn does it get the job done. i work in a warehouse type deal and it has all cement floors ive dropped this phone say... maybe 5 times from chest height and im 6 foot this thing just bounces around cause of the rubber corners and you dont even hear it fall. its a great case i do hate the built in screen protector that kinda like the otterbox one just take it off, its also a little harder to use the pulldown menu with the little part along the top. tough as nailsss

Dropped it from about 4 feet in an elevator, chrome rim dented a little and one layer seems to have cracked in the corner.. I can see a bit of clear glaze under my screen protector.. Kinda mad now..

As user above mentionned, it's about 240$ to buy a new lcd + digitizer on ebay and a DYI job.
It's unfortunate that our devices are so fragile.

Sammy can repair it for $200 if you send it in. It'll take about 2 weeks to complete ("roundtrip"). Just call Samsung directly.

Yea since it's not cracked, I found a solution.. To buy a colored screen protector that will have a skin on the top and bottom parts so I can just cover it up.. I just wish this phone wasn't so delicate..

I have one of those on my s4, the battery life is brilliant, you can't kill this thing no matter what you do before let's say 4 to 5 days.
It does add a lot of bulk though, but also makes it very drop resistant however due to the tpu wrap around.
Another downside is that when you do have to charge it, better expect 12 to 14 hours charging time...

If you're into bulky protective cases then I'd go with that.I love their batteries too
I hope the rugged case will be available on Amazon UK soon, because if I order from Amazon US, I've to pay £9.77 for shipping not including the custom fees and the case is only £13.02
I just got it yesterday. No review yet bit I figure some pics at least. The shell feels like tpu material as opposed to the silicon rubber used by most other rugged cases.

Not really. I see quite a bit of differences. The only thing that looks the same is how it covers the home button. Otherwise the top by the speaker and sensors is totally different, more the the obex. The back is completely different as well as the sides

I agree, it doesn't look anything like the lifeproof other than it is a case. The back on the lifeproof (both versions) is completely clear.
Also, although there is no top view released pictures of the Otterbox Preserver, it is obvious that the headphone seal it quite a bit different from the lifeproof.
I was set to plunk down some money for the lifeproof, but the clear back and the flimsy headphone seal drove me away. It will be interesting to see more info on this case. But if it is not released soon, it will be irrelevant.
So this is really just their Armor series re-branded.

They've updated the design of the case. Not an exact copy of LifeProof case anymore. The earpiece looks huge now
Has anyone tried them out? I just purchased a brown one for under $10. I figure it's worth a try for that price point. Much easier to stomach than the outrageous $49 Samsung wants. I guess the biggest concern is whether it'll make my wrist breakout.
I just received a blue one from ebay. Little difficult to clip in, but seems secure once attached. Band is a bit more flimsy than samsung bands. Clasp is shiny instead of a matte. I'm also concerned about what it will do to my wrist. So, I guess we will see.

What color did you order? I thought I was getting a dark blue and a light blue. The light blue looked like a baby blue on the listing but it is more like a fitbit slate blue.

I was looking at cases for the Pixel XL on Amazon and eBay and I came across what seems to be a new branch of the Neo Hybrids. This has a colored bottom and the top part of the case that would be over the glass back is clear. Pretty neat in my opinion. FYI if you want to order one of these it seems to be $2 cheaper on eBay @ $15.99 versus Amazon $17.99, and the shipping time frame is faster on eBay. I personally ordered the blue one that i will use with my Quite Black. I think it would look nice. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

I think the blue and black combo would look nice. I think i prefer this case over the regular Neo Hybrid. I usually go with the rugged armor, but i wanted to add some color this time around. :good:
