well theres a huge difference between cyanogenmod and a kit kat rom on xda, both offer difference experiences. go through the bugs on the non-CM rom, compare it to CM and see what you need and is essential to you, for cyanogenmod its most of the time the camera that is the only big bug with a few minor bugs.
Why is the moto x camera not working on the s2 plus with 4.2.2?
Does anyone know?
1) because it is an aosp based framework app and requires an aosp based framework on your device as well
2) moto x runs on android kitkat 4.4.2 and your phone(according to you ) runs on 4.2.2
things mentioned above need to be considered and suck .apk files need to be carefully ported to work with a specific rom . all the best and i am sorry that i could be of no help you . Happy Flashing
hello. i have the xperia e single rooted! and unlocked bootloader! i want to install 4.3 jelly bean or 4.2 kit kat in my phone!! please somebody answer!!
1.There is no 4.3 for E and 4.2 isn't kitkat - 4.4 is and it's still in alpha stage
2.Read how to flash custom roms, watch a youtube tutorial if it helps and then install it following the instructions from the thread.
i know how to flash custom roms! but i need a link!
You can find it all in orginal android development... but i'll do it for you
http://tamsuicm11.github.io/# - you can find the rom in download section

Hey hey hey. Don't be so demanding bro. It's clearly stated by @Saleen28. There's no 4.3 nor 4.2 rom for xperia e. As long as our device (Xperia J). Just be thanks that we still have a good developer building 4.4 cm11 for our devices.
Suggestion

Dude what are you expecting....do you think it is going to happen never.....E1 hardware is completly different from E(chipset, screen, gpu)only camera and storage are same so it is impossible to port....now the only option for our Xperia E is to wait for stable cm11
Hey devs! I'm bored of the old school jelly bean on my xperia c thanks to Sony who doesn't support mid range devices! Anyways I'm a tech addict and I wanted to ask you experienced devs whether is it safe to install custom roms on any phone? Does it have an effect on the battery life? . Whether before installing a custom Rom all our Apps can be backed up? please help I'm trying to install the lollipop rom provided by iSidd
So I got an old Xperia C2305 and wanted to install a custom ROM on. Only to find out it has a locked bootloader with no way of unlocking . Anyway, I've tried a few custom ROMS, but they're all Jelly Bean based that's themed like lollipop. I was wondering if it's possible to compile MIUI 6/7/8 from source since I've download the Sony device's kernel source. So is it possible to compile MIUI(PatchROM) for my device, despite having a locked bootloader or am I stuck with Jelly Bean forever?
anyway, any help/advice would be appreciated
