well theres a huge difference between cyanogenmod and a kit kat rom on xda, both offer difference experiences. go through the bugs on the non-CM rom, compare it to CM and see what you need and is essential to you, for cyanogenmod its most of the time the camera that is the only big bug with a few minor bugs.

CM 11 (Android KitKat) NIGHTLIES
CM 10.1 (Android 4.2 Jelly Bean) STABLE
CM 9 (Android 4.0 ICS) STABLE
CWM Based Recoveries
There are hundreds of roms available. It differs from person to person which roms he/she likes.
I personally like CyanogenMod. Just look here and find a rom.
Almost all threads have a guide how to install the rom. If you don't like the rom you just simply install another one.
If you want to get started, install CWM Recovery as listed above.

Hey so I would like to flash cm12 on my gs4mini (sgh1257m). The problem is when i search for cm12 roms for it, the only cm12 roms it'll show are for the i9195 or the i9190. Does anybody know where I can get a cm12 rom for my gs4 mini (sgh1257m).

The website is full of the official ports, and if it's not there then there is no official CM12 for that device. There may be CM11 available for it.
Otherwise, you will have to look into how to port it to your phone yourself.
Running on 4.4.4 Kitkat, stock Rom and rooted already with Kingroot 4.0, so far its working ok but unable to install xposed yet. It runs on 64bit processor and i heard thT performance wise it'd be a huge boost if its on Android Lollipop. Any custom Rom for thiz that runs on Lollipop?

It is by far the cheapest octacore 64bit phone, spec wise, with lots of battery juice around. It was just release 2weeks ago here in the philippines. On stock is kitkat 4.4.4 and already on ART, was just thinking that with specs like these running on Lollipop would fully show its true potential.
I figured out the whole forum foremost a kitkat ROM or real lollipop for e615 / f that was forgotten even by XDA Developers ... any good developer could carry any or create a rom lollipop or kitkat ?

Of course it's Cm, but with needs and applications, will there not be compatibility problems?

Thanks for using XDA Assist Developing a rom for a device is not easy task and can take long time , Developing a Rom is a developer choice and they do on various factors hence you have to just wait if any developer is interested to make Roms for your device.
