Can anyone help? I am running Hellfire Phoenix's newest rom on my g2x and i can not make video calls via messenger, skype, ext, ext. I'm sure its a setting and not the rom.(rom is awesome) I have searched for a week and can not find an answer. I have noticed some users only had the back camera working with a video call but there was a fix for that. My problem is no matter what app i use i do not have the option of video calling only voice or text. is this a missing driver problem? its like my camera's are not seen using any app for video calls.
Thanks
HF Phoenix is ICS based or GB? If ICS based, that's the problem
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
No its GB based.

I tried hard to get it but no result than i came to know that kernel does not support 2 way call recording function. i request all the developers to develop the said function for htc stock rom 1.43.720.2 android ginger bread ver 2.3.5.

Hello frnds!
I am using HTC Sensation 4G - Android 2.3.4
I tried many call recorders from Google Play Store but none of them worked well.
Is there any custom rom having inbuilt auto call recorder for this mobile?

I do not know of a ROM with in-built call recording, but from a quick google search I found this: http://www.xda-developers.com/andro...e-call-recording-done-right-xda-developer-tv/
Maybe it's worth a try?
You could try updating Android though..
Maybe that could solve some compatibility issues.

this method works. thanks
Good news is that call recording also works for those who don't have root yet. I was looking around if any of the apps work and it turned out CallRecorder by skvalex with standard API settings works just fine ! It detects Samsung Galaxy S6 and sets up everything. Install the app and you will have call recording functionality without root. Very nice feature! The voice quality is very good. I also think that Call Recorder - ACR should work as well, but I didn't check it. Here are the links to the apps at Google Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skvalex.callrecorder
You can get the trial version of CallRecorder by skvalex directly from XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1441643
You can also try Call Recorder - ACR, it should work as well, although I played with it some time ago with other phone and the app seems to be more heavy and less reliable: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nll.acr
Another option is Google Voice. It will allow call recording along with its slew of other features.
Hello,

As for example with the S22U by changing the CSC?

OK, I answered myself
This guide of mine from S22 works >
SD Native call recording & CSC (without rooting)
Hi everyone, Looking for some insight and more educated projections. I'm in Canada, and our phones (SD) typically didn't get native call recording (or any recording allowed as a matter of fact after Pie was rolled out). I had to purchase a...

I'm using the SKVALEX Call Recorder, but not the Play Store version though. I'm using the one from their Web site.

Works fine with Z Flip 4?
I've got my Z Flip today... Skvalex doesn't work proper.... Speaker's voice is very quiet and with BT is totally inaudible.
Cube acr works good for me
Yes, I'm using Cube too. But it doesn't record speaker's voice when using BT

same with skvalex. since i've been with skvalex for years, i will just keep it.
This one works perfectly fine for me. No need to do anything, just install the app. Sound from all sources, including Bluetooth, is working just fine.
