Excellent. Another Sense 5 rom. Off to flash.
All right, after having flashed this I can say it's a good Rom but it's lacking a lot of customization I've gotten so fondly accustomed to using Viper Rom - like choosing and reordering the status bar toggles, status bar, dock and drawer transparency and customizing, not to mention the 3 column app drawer which seems like such a waste of screen real estate.
I don't mean to sound overly negative, this seems like a great first step towards what can become an excellent Sense 5 Rom.

I am back to using Venom but that occasionally crashes Sense and I was hoping for a similarly tweakable Sense 5 rom that doesn't have the same issue.

This ROM will never be in the same custom as the Viper, but thanks to this here does not have a lot of bugs Viper. Everything works smoothly and steadily

I am sorry to hear that, but i have been using Viper C2 5.1.0 for over a month and nothing has ever crashed on my VilleC2.
Before i install a full and different rom from the one i was using before i always wipe everything including internal SD (after backing it up)

Might it be due to the tweaks I did to the launcher, ie: transparent dock and status bar, hidden header in app drawer, some hidden status bar notifications, on-screen menu button and maybe something else I forgot. Maybe these somehow cause Sense to crash.
I also always wipe cache, dalvik, data, system, android secure (in recovery and then again in Aroma) before flashing the Rom, but Sense still force closes.

I know. In this rom battery is awesome! 1-2 days standby.
For me in Viper Rom it was bad. 0.5 of a day and your phone turns off

Hi all,
as I wanted to save battery I first turned off Auto - Brightness. But as you can imagine it isn't as comfortable like the Auto Brightness.
Thus I decided to make a Mod for my favorite Rom: AR HD
Now I'm using the 4.1.7 and the Mod works very good so far.
For now there is only one version, the hard one. That means that I changed the levels very low so that the screen is a lot darker than with the normal settings

I made one for the 3.6.x and the 4.1.x Android Revolution HD. For the reason that I use the 4.1.x version I wasn't able to check weather the other one works as good. I hope some of you can check that and report their results.
For those who want the old settings back there is also a one with the original setting.
Soon there will be a weaker tweak for those of you who don't like a too dark screen
Install:
1. make Backup just to be secure
2. flash via Recovery

This mod just changes the auto brightness level. But it could be that you have to flash your battery mod again.
I'm not 100% sure with that. Just make a Backup and try

Exactly, that's why i've asked. There was another user who created these mods but combined those with a battery mod otherwise it would wipe the other out.

But I think that it's no big deal, cause we're flashing all day long and what's the problem with flashing the tweak first an the other mods after it?
I think it is no good idea to combine it with battery or any other mod, cause there will always be someone who doesn't like especially this one and has to flash another one over it.

Because both mods modify systemui.apk
that nor completely rigth, cause my mod only changes the framework
but i think I understand yout problem. The problem is that you can't have both of them cause when you flash each in sequence the first change is overwritten?
In you opinion, I should offe both of them in one flashable zip ?

Yes exactly, hehe wrong apk. Both modify the framework.apk, so that's why the one overrides the other.
Mind posting your array.xml or posting the numbers you used . The graph looks better than Sloppy's original version, which was too dark for me. Thanks!

No Problem, I just adjusted sloppy's one a little bit cause for me th steps were to big:
5-10-21-35-55-70-90-110-155-255
Do u find its too dark outside?? Sloppy, settings worked fairly well for me (abeit a bit darker than I'd lije) , but i did notice the jumps

I experienced the same problem and also found a solution for me.
I 've Made a mod with Battery + EQS + Tweak
And my purpose is to share this with all of you. There is only a little problem I try to solve atm. Cause the EQS I used is not mine and I have to ask wether I can use it.

The EQS and APM i'm using are coming from blackdog_7 and battery stock from Malybru.
Edit : maybe ou should take the mod from Jotha which contains APM, EQS and CRT ! Look at is sig.

This is a fantastic rom.
I do have problems with the Notification swipe system. It can be sticky trying to remove notifications and you have to swipe to the right only. Just not as flowing compared to a ICS rom. Other than that an awesome rom well done.

Being slightly lazy, I simply flashed this ROM over my existing Endymion base....no wipe's...It worked fine....
The right gesture notification removal worked fine.....

Well I tried it, got confused with regards launchers (hence other thread and poll) tried a couple of them, set them up fully and then took a trusty nandroid before moving on for another day! Must say (although wrong thread IceColdSandwich is getting exceptionally good )
And its very nice to see someone trying to topple Endymion from the sense 3.5 thrown! Competition creates progress!

Ok haha, I've just tried this ROM, and very impressed! RCMix 4.0 & the Swipe-notifications is a killer feature!
I really wish lowveld would put these in the next Endymion update.... If there ever will be anymore...

The new version of rcmix tweaks use cloud based downloadable tweaks. So you need a working net connection for the tweaks to be downloaded and applied.... This is one of the reasons lowveld hasn't updated endymion with these tweaks, and has instead come up with Endymion tweaks, with all necessary tweaks stored offline on the sd card... Helps avoid exactly these kind of situations...

Actually just noticed that as well, in fact none of the tweaks I tried seem to work.

This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone.

PAL, First time in Android history that Per-App-Layout has been realized
This rom features a setting called Per-App-Density - PAD. It basically allows you to scale apps, make them bigger or smaller. This is a must for tablet mode since it shrinks your apps considerably, making them useless. you can even scale widgets and framework components like the navigationbar.You can define an apps native DPI with it, make it look stock, smaller or bigger than that, your decision.
All apps are depicted at DPI 182 per standard. No other rom has that feature right now
Google Play does not allow density changes and will stop working if you mess around with that. This rom fixes that problem for you 100%.

Honestly I can't say thank you enough to you guys or the other devs here this phone doesn't even have a legot by HTC boot loader unlock no kernel source and had so many problems when it came out thanks to your time effort and commitment this phone has so much development that no one can say any other phone is better because it may have more development this phone freaking rocks thanks guys

Tips for new users;
use Tablet mode for now . since changing the dpi would result in wrong keyboard layout. Thats one small bug i found
and capacitive buttons dont light up

hmm flash both packages ?
is twrp even flashing it? it takes like 10 sec to flash. there is no flashing error from my end. so not sure whats happening here

This rom for x920D,but i hope Newtoroot optimized rom and for x920E. I have rom for x920E white working wi-fi and battery icon,but not working camera(i think used camera from rom by Newtoroot,but if you tell "no camera"....

in the archives of the firmware can not find the application in camera.apk system\app
in the firmware for droid DNA сamera.apk and сamera.odex is in the system\apk
Just want to say you did an amazing job in porting the GPe for X920d.
First Impressions:
1. Camera app started out at a MAX of 2MP only but after taking 1 photo, the setting was automatically changed to 8MP
2. The phone needs to be factory reset after flash this rom or else you encounter endless FCs from the phone app to the gallery app.
3. After the factory reset, most of the google apps are missing. Must install the google apps package manually.
4. There is no way to set the capacitive buttons to how you want them to work. The rigth button only functions as the recent button. No double tap, to long tap events. The left button only works as a back button.
5. Calling works, MMS/SMS works, 3G works, wifi works
6. Plugging in to PC both internal and SD card are shown properly. However, copying files to the SD card will give an error of "max file size is exceeded"
7. It's not very smooth. It feels like you are fighting with the device especially when scrolling through a long list or grid of icons. You will accidentally tap icon when you scroll very fast. This is not a problem with official builds and roms.

8. It /feels/ like there is a memory drain somewhere. After leaving the phone alone for a few minutes, it becomes unresponsive and rebooted.

9. GPU heavy games usually hang up and causes the phone to be unresponsive.
Overall:
I think this is a very good port but the quirks need to be sorted out first before we can use this as a daily driver. Hopefully an official GPe for the Butterfly comes out. *i wish*
tried to put the assembly of the subject with the core of Soul 4
installed but the system does not boot (the display screen saver from Google - balls in different colors)
tried to put the first assembly from of the droid Dna(with the core of soul4) and on top of the assembly for x920D - if put on top without wipe - hangs on loading Google release (colored balls), the system did not boot
it turns out that the assembly of the droid works on a butterfly x920E, the problem only with the camera
if it were possible to fix the camera - it would be happiness
I myself could not fix the camera
Donations need to be made for newroot I think we need to start something

I'll work on getting audio fixed soon
Like I said months ago if anyone has a functional device that is cracked or something they are not using and want to donate it for development let me know it would make building these roms easier if not I'll do my best to make them stable

x920e to no stock or Cyanogen 4.2.2 or aosp \ AOKSP or miui

need to put a rut and then we can get the firmware and put it on file sharing

I am not sure how to do it, but I think the option is under the System option in settings. That's where all the customization is anyways. Enjoy my friend

The kernel I believe supports S2W, the ROM though was built for the glacier originally and the advanced settings should try to tune S2W the glacier way... I hope you enjoy it anyways

I haven't benchmarked it but it feels really stable etc. I have played some pretty heavy games on this ROM without it cracking a sweat... It is suitable to be a daily driver...
