Hi! Like some of you should have seen, I have involved more and more on this world, the Android World. I have seen a lot of post, but It's look more difficult that it really is, I think.
I enquire anyone who wants, to teach me (and everybody who wants) to develop Android. It's one of my DREAM.
Any help (ROMs, APPs, KENRELs) will be well-recieved! :fingers-crossed:
THANKS IN ADVANCE TO EVERYBODY!
PS: If someone is spanish and could teach me, It would be better aahahahhahhahah

[Q] Dev. Help

Hello,
I am somewhat new to xda forums and Im glad to be here.
I wanted to ask for some help regarding developing android applications and programs, as I am somewhat lost in the beginning stages of the process. I havent successfully downloaded the correct programs in order to begin so I guess if someone could help in that regard. However more importantly I would like to know if there is anyone who would be willing to be my official dev. trainer/tutor to teach me the basics so that I can actually have a chance at developing something.
I know ive seen a no noobs section so I know pros must be looking at my post like "just another noob". But I am really interested in learning and I would appreciate someones help and guidance. Thanks and I hope someone decides to help.
First of all, no one will dedicate his time to teach you. some have work/school and other important stuff to do other than teaching you.. But im sure they can offer you a minute to post here the things you need to read and answer the problems you have..
maybe the first thing to do is to list down what have you already accomplished, like what you already read about programming, about android programming and such stuff..
so that people can point you to your next step. at this point it seems that you are totally lost and dont know here to begin, and so the pros who wants to help you..
goodluck and dont lose hope..

Learning more?

Is there anyway that I can learn more about the inner workings of Android? I'm really interested in learning the ins and outs. Rooting, modding, app developing potentially, etc. Is there anyway to start? I want to be able to do things without using tutorials and just know how to do it.

Hello, there,
First off, welcome to XDA! I hope you enjoy your time here.
Now, onto your question, I'd like to point you to XDA University. It has a large amount of easy-to-understand information about all kinds of Android things for beginners. Rooting, ROMs, app development, it's all in there. Go ahead and check out that site.
Quick note, the next time you have a question that is not specifically about the xda-developers website itself, it's best to post your question in the Q&A section instead of here, in the About xda-developers.com section. Thanks!

Sorry about the misplacement of the post.
I just want to become more fulent like most people are here on the forum. I read these forums and half the time it might as well be another language. Haha. I'll check out your suggestions. Thank you.

[Help) Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I am new to the world of android development since I have learned what rooting is, how it can be used, and the potential to help others is unlimited in the world of development. I am looking to start a career in the world of development, and Android development has me extremely interested in what I can possibly do with such a useful and necessary skill set. I know basically nothing at all, but I can read fairly well and follow basic instructions within a set of guidelines. I am sure most of the developers that post in xda forums are busy with actual careers and lives of their own, but if anyone is willing to teach me what I should know to become a developer, I would be extremely appreciative. I am looking to learn the basics of how android works, how devices communicate, how apps are made and interpreted by the operating systems that use them, and much more. Anything is helpful, even if someone can teach me which questions I should actually be asking. Needless to say that this is kind of embarrassing to be asking, but someone Please teach me if your time permits. Everyone has been extremely helpful and understanding. Help me work next to some great minds so I can hopefully reach the same level myself. Thanks to everyone reading this.

Development Platform?

Dear Nicw People,
The following post is not needed as the user who posted it <me> realized he is an idiot and can get the answer without bothering all of the kind and important developers.
I will be more careful in the future... Shaft1963
Hello,
Please forgive me I have searched for a place where noobs can ask questions without causing everyone to roll their eyes; point me somewhere if this is wrong.
I am going to teach myself android development and i have a core/i5 box to dedicate to the project what OS should i use?
Linux, Windows or something else?
Thank you in advance, Shaft
