Discription
Hello and Welcome to the MLB 2014 Season. Along with it, I am introducing this application. Sit-Stat: MLB is a Situational Statistic Query Engine which allows you to query Major League Baseball statistics which occurred under numerous scenarios. If you want to know how many home runs a player hit last year, ask Yahoo, if you want to know who has hit the most Home Runs, in the ninth inning, with runners on base, to win a game, ask this app.
I have amassed a data repository of every Major League Baseball pitch since the 1939, and now it is at your disposal.
Now This currently is in EARLY RELEASE, meaning I have tested it, my friends have tested it but I realize with there are still a few bugs. I have a Issue reporting site which I hope you help me by reporting any problems you see or suggestions you may have. This is currently a batch system, where you issue requests to a server, it runs the requests the returns you the results. This is because I do not have the resources currently to build an active response system. If this app gets popular, I hope to make it an instant response query app.
Current Features:
The ability to issues requests for cumulative stats for every active pitcher and batter since 1932.
Upcoming Features:
Ability to query situational stats for Teams
**Ability to query stats for specific Players
Ability to Save or Delete specific requests.

Thank you for reporting this, feedback is much appreciated, both bugs and feature ideas. (Note to others: He also reported this to my available ticketing system, which was most helpful.) I had received similar reports regarding the text scaling and have supplied a update in the Play store up now(v0.4).
Again, Thank you.

This is the first app that I have developed and I am keen to receive feedback and/or feature requests. I make regular new releases to the app as I add new features in response to requests.

I have had to quickly push out another update (2.4.1), some phones were crashing when downloading some of the season transfers.
This should now be fixed.
Awesome

Hi All!
So last year I created a thread here about an app that I had just released. I got a lot of great support from this forum so I though I should come back and give an update about the latest version!
It's now available from the market, and there have been a lot of significant changes. So here are a few screenshots:

The premise of the game is the same as always. You play the game on a map view, using you actual location. Zombies must attack survivors and vice versa. As a survivor, when a Zombie gets your health down to zero you will turn into a zombie. If you are killed as a Zombie you can respawn as a survivor.
The game has a leveling system, so you can level up as you attack users, and increase the range with which you can attack.
I'm also working on some pretty major features at the moment, as I want to integrate real world locations ... but that's all I'm going to say on that for now. I think the biggest news, however, is that there is also an IOS version in the works ... not that any one here would care but you will be able to distinguish between android and IOS users, and attack accordingly.
There is also a facebook page where I post pre-release versions of the app for people to try out.
I have thrown together a temporary website (while I try to find time to do something proper), which explains the game a little more. I have made a pre-market version available here, which has all of the latest features.. just waiting for a good time to go live on the market.
As always I would love to get as much feedback as possible!
Thanks & Enjoy!
Hi,
Nice app!
I gave it a try today.
I was lucky enough to find a player in my neighborhood but unfortunately he was a zombie, like me.
So my first suggestion would be to allow to respawn as an opposite kind.
Because basically I just cannot play since the closest other player is > 100 km from me!
Cheers.
Thanks! If you email [email protected] with your user name I can add some NPCs in your area. This is a beta feature so I ask people to request.
Cheers,

Hello fellow XDA members!
Back in December I published my first app to the Play store. I have since had some time to do a few updates and have pushed a new version today. I would very much appreciate some feedback if you have any.

The game is called deScribe. It is similar in concept to a now defunct website called BrokenPictureTelephone (BPT), or the still functioning site, EatPoopUCat. I used to really enjoy BPT when it existed and thought that this would be a perfect game for a touch device. The only ones I could find on the play store were severely lacking in drawing capabilities and overall polish (in my opinion).
-------------
In this game, you can decide if you'd like to draw a picture from someone else's description or describe one that someone else has already drawn. Often the beginning idea gets a bit garbled by the end and it can be quite humorous to see the results.
There are leader boards representing the most voted for artists of all-time, this month and this week.
You can choose to get notifications when someone takes a turn in one of your games, someone comments on one of your games or someone stars a drawing of yours.
You can look at someones profile and see some basic stats about them (how many drawings/descriptions they've done, how many stars earned, etc.
You can choose your own profile image. Either choose from an included list or draw your own!

Hi everyone,
I hope I am posting in the right section.
I recently released my first personal published app to the Play Store. It has ads, but those will soon be removed - chose to include them to learn how. I also have my code as open-source if anyone wants it.
Link is at the bottom of this post.
My app is unique in that it does several network requests to foursquare api and google places to aggregate and populate a listview.
My favorite and most exciting feature was implementing a compass AND pointer using sensors, gps data, and a lot of math. Took me a lot of hard work just for this first main version.
The compass always points mag North regardless of which way you turn and also has an arrow that points at the moving target based on real-time sensor/gps/API data.
Still a few bugs that but I'm taking a break from the app so I can come back in a few weeks and refactor + add new features.
This app will display real-time interactive location data for food trucks/trailers/food stands etc.
It should work on any device at any orientation. My custom interpolation makes a smoothe compass/pointer.
Any feedback and support would be greatly appreciated as I am job hunting and it isn't easy by any means, as some of you know. The more I can implement changes/feedback from reviews (hopefully) and/or here, the better prepared I'll be for Dev positions.
Thanks to anyone that downloads the app. You guys on this entire forum are awesome; I mostly use it for updates on kernels and roms, but first time I'm posting on a published app in the Play Store. Thanks everyone.
Cheers,
Justin

Hi,
I am the dev of AppHunt. A week ago my app was promoted here, in the XDA Picks: Best Apps of the Week (Apr 25 – May 1).
AppHunt is a curated list of apps updated in real time. The online community of users select and vote the best apps: either disruptive new apps or apps with new awesome features. The idea is basically a mix of ProductHunt and reddit for android apps (now only apps in the play store).

Lot of users belong to this community and I want to do something useful, so this is the best place to ask you what new features do you want in AppHunt? What are the things you don't like and what things do you want to improve?
I had already lot of feedback but I want to prioritize and avoid develop features for only a couple of people. Here are some ideas for new features and things I should change :
Followers: you get notified when a user you follow post an app
New find/ask feature, users can start a thread to ask for an app to other app hunters
Add the score of the top hunters to the profile page
Improved the support and design for tablets
Add animations and cool transitions between activities (I really want to spend some time here but I think it is not really relevant to people to use the app, maybe I am wrong)
Dark theme / night mode. Some people also asked about themes, but I think everybody wants a dark theme
Redesign the app. I am not a designer and the design is not the best, with some help here this will improve a lot.
Change the name of the app: AppTrend (any other suggestion?) The reason for a new name is because there is another app with the same name and that is not good for marketing purposes
New logo (see image below)
Push notifications (which are coming soon)
It's been broken for quite awhile, still listed on Google play though. What's the issue?
