Few days back my galaxy sl dropped from running bike and the LCD broken, also earlier i was having problem with soft keys and the man at samsung service center told me that the whole front panel must be changed, costing around Rs.6000.
After the phone dropped i checked it with my friends LCD screen and everything was working.
Tell me that is there any cheaper option available, as spending Rs.6000 is worthless because the phone is already 2 year old and i would buy a new phone in that price.... Is there any local or cheap lcd available which may be used for sometime???
Front lcd? Are you sure it is not the touchscreen digitizer? Usually when people drop the phone the touchscreen gets broken and not the lcd. The digitizer costs around 7 and 14 dolars in ebay with free shipping. Check if you need the lcd (what you see) or the digitizer (what you touch)

My display stopped working. I recently changed the digitizer and I can see that my phone is switching on So I contacted the service centre and they told the full molding should be changed; Including digitizer and touch screen. Can anyone help me to find any low cost item in Hyderabad?
I managed to drop my xperia z5 on the exact corner it had been fallen on and repaired before... So it broke again despite the cover :crying: The touch doesn't work anymore with the broken glass bottom right corner.
It still had 3 defects from the previous fall, bottom speaker is dead, the vibrating function is broken and the fingerprint scanner is dead. It was the only time it fell since I owned the device and it instantly broke from less than half a meter on concrete in a cover so I bet it breaks again if I let it fix and the same happens.
The cheapest local phone repair store will repair only the screen for 185 euro's and idk how much the other repairs would cost if I were to let that be repaired too since vibration function is quite a good function.
Given I can get back 100 euro's for the broken device as discount on a new phone it's also a bit appealing.
A fully functional 2nd hand xperia z5 goes for about 300 euro's and a brand new xperia x compact is 450 euro's on release day, normal X is 466
I really can't decide what to do, an xperia X isn't really an upgrade but money doesn't grow on my back though so X performance is too pricy at 637 euro's.
What would you do? or what should I do

i would do the simplest thing.that is to buy a case. i always buy a case as soon as i buy a new phone. so maybe fix it and do that :/
My Lenovo P2 touch is broken, just fall down, But There is no scratch/crack the gorilla glass display, there no scratches any damages in the body only has a small line in touch and not working (full black )
Lenovo said you were not get any warranty, because your device is damaged , i bought it about 11 days . and the replacement time is over
How much price is to change the Brocken touch?
Lenovo P2a42 (India)
Contact you local Lenovo Service Centre they are the only ones who can give you a price, as a guide £100-120 seems to be an approximate cost.
So I went to replace a non-working front camera in my XZ (single-sim model) and managed to mess up the screen and digitizer in the process--I have lines in the screen and dead spots in the digitizer (as found when I do tests from the service menu).
Looking at replacement screen/digitizer combos on ebay and amazon, they all look similar and none appear to have the Sony logo like an OEM screen would have. Does anyone have experience replacing their own screen/digitizer? If so, what did you use? Or is there even a way to try to repair this?
I suggest sending it to sony my screen broke due to a fall costed 80 pounds to be repaired , they will make an estimate before repairing
