When I mean group texting, I mean being able to send it via group text group rather than sending it as MMS individually.

Right now when I get a group message the replies aren't in one conversation. I get an individual reply from each person. How do I get the replies to show up in one conversation? I'm using go sms and I don't see the option to turn on group messaging.

Has anyone gotten group messaging with iPhone users to work correctly on the stock hangouts application? I can send group messages but do not receive any responses. No individual messages and nothing in the group window. I also tried textra and had the same results.
Suggestions?

what are you APN setting for ATT that allows you to do group messaging successfully?

Do you guys in the U.S get free MMS?
The fact that Hangouts sends Group Messages as MMS makes it an expensive proposition here in the U.K?
in the US, every text plan i've had makes no distinction between SMS or MMS, plus i can't remember the last time i encountered anyone with a limited amount of SMS/MMS per month anymore...

I created the group in People, it has 7 people, but how do I send to them?

I don't think the groups in contacts work for sending messages. You can add multiple people to a text to create a mms or you can send a text to a circle.

I tried using the Google hangouts messenger app that came stock with the Nexus 5 and it has the option for group messaging so I tried that and noticed that I don't get any of the messages that people reply with to that group chat. Is there any way to fix this? Like allow me to group message with iPhone people and stuff?

I flashed the MOAR ROM about 3 days ago. Since then I haven't been able to send group texts or receive them in Hello SMS or Hovercraft SMS. Is anybody else having this problem? Hovercraft told me to check the APN setting but when I did I wasn't able to find a way to edit anything. Evolve seems to be the only 3rd party app that's allowing me to group text.
I've not been having any issues with group texting, but I use 8sms.
