[Monthly Holiday] Developer's Day

Welcome, community, to the XDA Developer's Day thread. We receive endless support from the developers. They deal with our bug submissions, questions, comments, complaints, and whining on a daily basis. What can we possibly do to give back?!

The first of every month.
What Can I Do?
Consider Rom, Application, Kernel, Theme, Tweak, and other developers in your decision:
Pick a developer who has influenced your life in some way this month and donate a few dollars! And come next month, pick another developer. A rotation, of sorts. Every donation counts, and is cherished.
Update your signature to reflect your support for developers and for the mass recognition of the holiday!

Oh, and this has taken off fairly well on Rootzwiki.

+1 as well this is a pretty cool idea. Developers really deserve supportfrom the community. One of let's them know that what they are doing is not in vain. Two some monitary support is always a good incentive to keep good hard core developers at the top of their game, which is the long run is good for everyone. Now I know a lot of of developers do it just because it is their personal hobby and the enjoy it. But some cummunity support and graditude never hurts.

Hello there Infuse community
Some may know me, others may not. I am Marcus, and I am currently starting a project on App reviews for the Infuse. How they run, are they worth it, how are the graphics, you know all that kinda stuff May seem stupid, may seem worthless. "Why cant we just look at the reviews when downloading the app?" Go ahead and do so, if you find that more convenient then that's great But this is a little project that I have been wanting to do to keep me busy.
What I am asking of you is simply this... Below in the posts, post what App you want me to review, an app you want to know more about. I will download it, give it the through and through and review it letting you know all you need to about it to see if it's something you might want.
So if you want to help in my little project, please go ahead and do so Also you can private message me anything else you want to know and such.

Anyone else having issues with XDA Premium? I paid for the app months ago and up til today its been fine. But after flashing uniporn build 40 it no longer says its purchased and that I have to repurchase it.

I was just having prob with last week...via any ROM on my Infuse...I would clear it out and log off and reboot...it was fc or just stalling....dont believe there was an update on the app ?!?

I dont think there was either. It might just be a bug hopefully they are working to fix it.

Why don't you be productive and link him to a thread that helps teach how to compile. Educate people than criticize and make insulting assumptions.

Posting the same request under multiple usernames won't make it happen any faster....
Anyway, I'd like to see a semi - transparent keyboard; or would that look awful? Not quite sure....lol

I smell something fishy. I would hate to be the guy that has to explain to my bank how someone "hacked" my bank account to purchase purple dildos off Amazon all because I wanted a custom skinned keyboard.

no seriously. Look at the two custom ones I posted in the themes and apps Samsung forum.
I know you don't know me and I'm new here but it's what I do. .. break down and rebuild stuff for my n3. You don't have to donate lol. I do this for fun. Obviously if someone requests like 7 diff keyboards then I might not get around to it but. I have no problem helping someone out that wants something custom though just bc I know before I knew how to I spent hours looking for the custom stuff I wanted. Just trying to help some ppl out saving time. lmk if you want one I'll prove it to you I'm not a scamm ahrgg!!! =)

My apologies, pal. I do see a lot of obvious duplicate accounts in request threads, so it was an honest mistake. Sorry.
Anyway, considering it's been a few days without any updates or requests filled, I'm thinking this probably isn't gonna go anywhere...Oh well.

I understand I have seen the same
It is just frustrating to think about if I had time to create multiple accounts I'd have more time to make my own mods but with a full time job three kids and my wife with cancer my day isn't even long enough for the things I need to do let alone what I want to do

can you make a simple black keyboard and a white text on it?

to break the ice, let's have one keyboard as example (from the above requests).
I would personally like a matt gray with white letters.

Any roms working on vzw SCH-i705+

There was one early on by Mr Hyde which I installed and have been using ever since. That was discontinued about a year ago though. Was just wondering if there's been any development since.

See...there's hardly any way to get answers here,,, I mean thank God for the geniuses touching down to earth ever so often with there brilliant work but then they flutter back into their bong smoke filled dens to game on or whatever other strange itch they're wanting to scratch at that particular moment...lol. but answers for the old folks....hehehe not a chance!

Yeah, I can be a little sarcastic. But he DID say people like me used to be super active then disappear to play video games and aren't helpful anymore. Not that we have a life and are actually, you know, devoting 12+ hours a day sometimes 6 days a week to working full time and advancing our education...

Uh,,,,, that would be a NO then.because none of those lead to a working Rom or a working anything for that matter,,, development for this particular device is dead......that was why I made my remark...because most of you guys go to great links to impress yourselves but add very little to helping any of us that aren't as savvy,,,,, that's pretty cool animation but I see you really haven't followed any of those links in that real cool way to say nothing.....

C'mon man, don't be a troll. There are very few owners/users of your particular tab. Which is why there is little development for it. Have you seen Shakatus contributions to the community of P51xx.Take a look for yourself, and then try spouting off. If he, or any other, of the great devs around here actually had one of your models, maybe they may be able to figure something out. But, he doesn't. So he wont. Unless of course you want to send him yours to try, but I can guess the answer to that. Bashing people around here for problems that you are having (or unwilling to do anything about, except lean on others ie: learn something for yourself) is unacceptable and will be reported. No trolls allowed......next!

I wasn't trying to be crass....I will be happy to donate or whatever in order to advance the work on this model....but there's no current anything for this device.....I've ran down every link and thread trying to find anything useful to break VZW's hold on this device, so it's not a matter of not researching or being lazy....my apologies.
