WiFi Calling Controls
Introduction
Control the T-Mobile WiFi Calling feature programmatically with a Locale plugin compatible app, such as Tasker, Locale, or Llama! Use this plugin to only enable WiFi calling when you are at certain locations, potentially saving battery life, improving call quality, and reducing the Cell->WiFi handover delay. Monitor the state of WiFi calling to trigger actions when WiFi calling is enabled/disabled!
If that sounds too complicated for your liking, there is also a widget for the quick and easy toggling of WiFi Calling!
Samsung users MUST install this as a system app. This requires root!
This will ONLY work with T-Mobile phones that have the WiFi Calling app already installed!

Unfortunately there is a known issue with recent Samsung devices (including the Note 3). T-Mobile uses Samsung's built-in IMS system instead of Movial's for wifi calling, so it will take some time and effort to reverse engineer that as well. The good news is that I have ordered a Samsung device and hopefully will be able to use it to test my app. Give me one or two weeks to get this working, please!
I was also trying to avoid posting apks on here since the app is still very much a beta and will change frequently, but I will absolutely post one when I am getting close to releasing! The play store link is in the beta G+ group.

Sorry, right now I have no plans to add sprint compatibility. I have neither a sprint device nor a sprint plan, so it would be really hard for me to develop that. This app is open source though, so there is always the chance another developer could do it!

I was searching for an app to do exactly this. Went to download for my Xperia Z1s on the Play Store and it says it is not compatible. Downloading the apk now to test it out. Fingers crossed.

Haven't tried it with Tasker yet, but the widget works perfectly. Haven't used Tasker in about 2-3 years (at that time I thought it was bogging down my phone), but think I'm going to revisit the app soon - the phones are so much quicker now. I'll report back once I try it on tasker. Thanks for a truly great app.

Awesome, thanks. Now I can keep up on the play store.
I have loaded the Wifi Calling Controls on my LG G3 and it works great, however if I have the Wifi Calling Controls state as part of the profile I have noticed that Tasker doesn't see the State until after the monitor is restarted.
Example: In my Profile IF (Wifi Connected to HomeWifi AND WiFi Calling Controls On) THEN (Stop Wifi Calling) However in the Log the profile stays active until either I'm no longe conntect to my HomeWifi, or Monitor is reset. This issue also persists when my other Profile to turn on Wifi Calling should run, but Tasker sees WiFi Calling Controls as On while the Controls are actually Off.
I have gotten around this issue by not using Wifi Calling State in my Profiles, however I don't like it when Tasker continues to check if I'm connected to the HomeWifi. This also causes my phone to heat up and eat batteries.
Possible fixes:
1) How can I restart Monitoring as part of the Task? If I can do that then when tasker Starts or Stops Wifi Calling I could reset Monitoring, so the Wifi Calling State registers properly.
2) Get monitoring to properly see the Wifi Calling State without restarting Monitoring.

Keep your eye open for an update this weekend. I have fixed the issue with G4 MM as well as the wifi calling state bug on the G3/G2 that @othercents mentioned earlier. Sorry for the lack of updates, guys! S6 compatibility hopefully on it's way soon as well.

Please ensure that you have testes all 3 features (idle 2 mins, screen off 10 mins and particular time).
Is it a rooted app? By the way, I have not seen anything like that in your app description. I have not rooted my device, can I install this?

In real this app sounds good. I have not installed this app. After installing, I would provide my response.
I was checking this app since last 1 week. Wi-Fi is working fine, BT is not that much needed (atleast for me). Bue, data is not turning off it seems. May be I am doing something wrong??

Hi Reachal,
As I understand your issue, your handset might have some issue, as it is properly working for my handset. Sometimes same app works fine for some handset and and not works for other one. So I think this may be your Cell issue.
I am really appreciated with this app. The UI is so super and functionality is too good. I can feel that Battery lifetime is increased by minimum 2 hours for my mobile because of this app. Thanks the developers who developed such a great app. Really appreciable.

This is really challenging. I will see to it what I can do. Dynamically removing Data tab will be difficult. However, if you wish, I can send you apk where only Wi-Fi and Bluetooth tabs will be available. Mail me if you need such kind of modification.

@AnMobi 1st of all,dont misadvertise to people. this app contains ads! proof is attached as screenshot. the ui needs a lot of works to be done. apk size is too huge, even bigger than anyshare/shareit. start up is also a bit slow.& what's the point of connecting to facebook? i think it is more bloated than those chinese ones! uninstalling for now. btw i tested it on a gingerbread device.

Please try to re-install Xender from play store. Our OFFICIAL app which uploaded on Play Store did not have any kind of advertisement.
We have tested Xender on more than 20 mobile phones individually here and we don't find any performance issue and advertisement :victory:
We have push new update (10/31) that fixed the advertising issue. For the one who get ads, now we believe it is GONE for Good.

i downloaded it from google play & my antivirus doesn't fail detecting adverts on apps. so i am pretty much sure there is ads in this app.

I was excited to install your app and use it but my problem is that everytime I go to use it it wants to connect to a hotspot and wont work off of my data or WiFi and I don't have a hotspot which means I can't use the app. Why does this happen?

Xender works by using direct WiFi Hotspot between phone, not using any data or WiFi

Did you turn on your WiFi direct by yourself? Xender can automatically turn on the Hotspot.
Just try to connect directly from the app.

When I launch the app it shows the app notification but says disconnected next to it. Nothing connects and when I try to start a group it doesn't work. I've had no luck with the app it doesn't like me I guess

The notification seems normal, What does it say when you're trying to create the group?
You could try to restart your phone first, we have notice some phone have issues when create hotspot, this issues is from the phone itself.
And btw what phone are you using?

I've googled HTCOne Max wifi hotspot, it seems that many users discussed about several mobile operator disable the phone WiFi hotspot capabilities
Maybe that is the reason why Xender having trouble accessing the wifi hotspot module.
You should try some Mods to enable the wifi hotspot/tethering capabilities from this XDA thread and retry Xender!

Device Support
Device support depends on a variety of factors, including your specific device model, Android version, installed (custom) ROM, used root provider (su binary), and SELinux configuration. This app includes options to deal with different configurations of some of those factors. Please let me know if this app does not work on your device.
Notes
The widget is passive. Thus, it has to request root every time it is refreshed. Although the battery impact is negligible, this usually results in frequent (Toast) messages indicating that the app was granted root rights. Please refer to your superuser management app if you'd like to disable those messages specifically for this app.
Known issues:
Android 6.0/Samsung: There are user reports about issues with Samsung devices and Android 6.0: [1] [2]
Other Issues: When reporting any issues please include the following info in your post: Device, ROM and ROM version, exact version number of this app you use (don't just write "latest"), superuser management app (e.g., SuperSU) and version, content of any shown error messages. It toggles the cellular radio (mobile network) on and off.

Sorry for the stupid question, but can this be done not automatically? I mean, I can change network type by hand, I can deactivate data by hand, but can I toggle the cellular radio, without putting the phone in airplane mode I mean? Cheers for the clarification
You can do this manually with this app (without enabling airplane mode).
Tested Play Store version works fine on the Shield LTE.
Anyone know how much battery this actually saves in day to day use (like if you've disabled cell radio in the past regularly when on wifi)? I am using the 3g/lte switch that he posted and it's working great. I use GV/hangouts for everything. Wondering if this would be worth it to use anytime I am on wifi. I can't tell battery stats very well with lollipop. It has never shown cell radio for me yet like kitkat used to.

cell radio battery use
The cell radio battery use will vary very much from phone to phone and also depends on signal stength.
On my galaxy s3, with a strong cell signal, my phone uses around 1-2% of battery per hour at idle. With no cell signal, the phone uses 4-6% per hour as it is trying to connect all the time. When I turn off the radio, I draw 1% per hour.
A weak signal will use 2-3% per hour.

Hi,
The widget does not seem to work on the galaxy s3 (Cyanogenmod 4.4.4 M12). When I press the button, it toggles (just the widget, not the radio), and then will not toggle back on.
If I use the dialer to get to the phone menu and toggle the radio from there, the widget will toggle back on (with no effect on the radio).
Phone is rooted.
Not sure if it is an app issue, CM issue, or Galaxy S3 issue.
Thanks for your efforts - it would be nice to toggle from the home page as the battery savings (see previous post) are big.

Hi,
Is compatible with previous versions of android 4.0+ .
And there is no need to have GPS enabled, with wifi is enought, and is more acurated than google trusted locations.
You can also read several threads of people complaining about native smart lock not working properly on their devices.
Personally, I prefer to use Smart Unlock app.

Not only for Kikat roms, there is also people with lollipop that prefers trusted wifis than trusted location, specially because is more accurate and use less battery.
Smart unlock is working on Android now HD ROM

We have tested on other CM build with no issues. I will try to test on CM12.
What behaviour do you exactly get? You connect to your wifi, open Smart Unlock, Click "+" button, select "add wifi" and , if im not wrong, you get there a message that says. "You are not connected to any wifi" ¿Right? Please , confirm the step to reproduce your issue under CM12 on Lg G3 . Regards

Yes that's right.
Turn wifi on, but message stays the same about not being connected to wifi.
Wi-fi seems to be working fine until I come across multiple routers with same name (e.g. at work). The option to 'add all wifi with the same name" might be beneficial. Secondly, having an option to connect to a reliable BT connection would be great as I use my phone a lot in the car. Keep up the good work.
Trying this on vs985 (vzw lg g3) running skydragon rom 2.0.1. When I try to connect to wifi it says the app has forceclosed. I have tried clear data and cache in the app, uninstalled and installed again. Any ideas?

Hey, I have no idea, It must be something related with the custom rom because for stock rom is working fine. Sorry I can not help with issues on custom roms, at least until we solve some other more important issues that we are facing now with samsung phones. Thanks for testing.

I second this, office space counts 6 routers plus that I had to add individual. Not a big problem but add all option is a nice to have option.
Also for me a time delay option when not in a secure location before locking would be a nice option.

An easy way to keep the users knowing there current currency without dialing ussd codes.
The project work fine on android 4.2 and after but it's still have some bugs on android 5 and after.
I try to fix bugs and i think it's work just fine now.
it has statusbar notification and respond for calls and sms events.

It's a great idea but it doesn't seem to work for me. Can you tell me which carriers are supported?
Also, my carrier (hollandsnieuwe NL) doesn't send the balance directly, but it shows a confirmation message followed by an SMS with the balance after ~20 seconds. So I don't think this can be supported?
Finally a tip from being an app developer myself: you should never let ads overlap your content. That looks very bad and even can get your app removed from the Play Store as the AdMob terms specify that you should not do this.

Hi there! one suggestion, instead of just letting you check for one code, can you let it add more so on the notification we execute the USSD code that we have as favorite (probably diales) and have others like megabyte balance, international code balance available inside the app :good:

nice idea, it's been writing week ago the next release this week 5/5/2017 will have this features and more
There a bug while dialing multi ussd code so i don't include all feature in the first release but i will add it this week because i solve it the new release will has app widget instead of the notification bar because it's a small bug and case a lot of problems

and yes there is still alot of bugs, i tested it on Lineage OS 7.1.2 and it functions properly but crashed once when i input the USSD code the first time.
Is this compatible with Nougat? Play Store says it is not compatible with my S7 Edge and will not let me install it.
For Polish carrier Plus it does not work. Also, what is the purpose of the top circle?

I usually check it by sending "?1515" to 214 through SMS. Smart Prepaid is a carrier in the Philippines tho
