Just flash the ROM again to restore stock kernel...
For good bettery life...just keep ur mobile in airplane mode..just kidding
You can do as the developer of JBX Kernel says in his own thread:
[KERNEL][3.0.31][HDMI][FULL HD][GUIDE 1.4]JBX-Kernel Hybrid [1,5ghz]
EMERGENCY RESTORE
If you have tried a Nightly build and you phone is acting crazy, you can follow these steps:
Check the thread or ask for the latest stable kernel build
NO WIPES!
Flash the Rom (Yes, again! That one you're currently using.)
Flash Gapps
Flash Kernel
Reboot
Click to collapse
Or
Follow this link that you can find in that thread for the restore kernel. Kernel Restore just flash it with your recovery.
On the battery life side just turn off things you are not using, and maybe search for Greenify in Google Play.

Okay, so I have stock froyo 2.2, with krylon360's Bali 3.3 kernel installed.
I was wondering how I can go about getting the latest adrenaline shot on here as well. Can anybody help me?
I'm pretty sure that adrenaline series is for gingerbread only

i would push the init.d files and fugu tweaks.
Can I do that on the stock froyo rom? Or do I have to get on gingerbread?
you can push it on froyo. but make sure to make backups of your rom and your init.d folder and the fugu tweaks in case your phone becomes unstable. i dont think it will cause a problem, but you never know.
Ok, this might be a noob question but how do I check if Adrenaline shot is actually working?

The reason I asked is because people are reporting great battery life but I am not getting such battery life. I am on Raver's BSGS4 ROM and have my CPU undervolted.

You need to calibrate your battery and let it sit out for a couple days to see changes in battery life. The app you need is called "Battery Calibration".
and please make sure you calibrate properly. follow the directions and be smart about it. you can get some great battery life on these custom roms.
I carefully followed all the instructions for calibration. 5 hours in and I have drained 30% already. I'll give it a few more days and report back. Thanks guys!

The A Shots with BL in the name should work on froyo.
V3 | ➣Adrenaline™ Boost For All Android Devices ! | 3/4/2012
More functions, it should work for all android devices as they are linux based !
I don't see dsexton mentioned in his post. He must be using a similar name.
i was running cm7 (2.3.7)with DS OC/UV Kernel Version 0.4.2 with setcpu. did all the wipe thing charged to 100% turned off phone about 6 hrs later turned back on battery at 25% what the hell. so now im running eb (2.3.7) no oc kernel i really want to be able to oc when i need to.
Try to use CM kernel, DS provides better battery life but doesn't read it correctly

thank you ill give it a try could you please tell me if that doesnt work out how to go back to the kernel that came with the rom?
Dont forhet to do the backup first . Then just restore ur backup if needed, its always goes back to stock kernel when done. So u would need reflash custom kernel every time u restored.

I don't think so that you will be able to go on the stock kernel without flashing stock xxkph...
BTW have you calibrated the battery and wiped its stats? And what all tweaks are you using on skin's cf root kernel without OC?
Tapashocked via my gt-I9003 with a random keyboard of my choice !

If you are using skin's kernel with the latest September update non overclocked version here are some instructions -
I hope you have already done ext4 conversion
Disable all the tweaks for now...
Now re calibrate the battery
And tell me after 24+ 91 hours as to what was your experience of performance and battery life!
I hope this helps you...

Bro we all use only skin's cf root kernal & its really battery efficient. No other kernal is available. And plz for god sake dont creat new thread for querry.

I have disabled all tweaks..Lets hope for the best.
Is there anyway to get amits kernel without OC (i hope that wont be having SOD) because that helps to get GPS lock in less than 5 Sec.
As suggested by you am using skins kernel which will take more than 15sec in average to get GPS lock and not giving steady lock.
Thanks again for the help
no new post/thread!

Actually Vishal is managing and paying for these threads and posts that's why he is most careful on new threads and posts
Sorry guys. Sometime I have to scold people for creating new thread. Because most of the questions have already answered but people dont take efforts to find the answers in threads. I know sometime people dont get answers quickly in Q and A thread. But instead of creating new thread u can ask again there in question answer thread to have people's attention to your querry. Its all our responsibilty to keep developement area clean for our developers.
Actually, CF-ROOT is just the stock kernel with a non-kernel (additional) recovery and optimization later. It's as close to stock u can get with optimizations, root, and a recovery module!
If you want just the recovery module (i.e. stock kernel with no optimizations and no root), install CWM.

Just flashed aospx on my Inspire, and I'm looking for a reputable kernel that optimizes both performance, but especially battery life (it's been horrible since flashing).
I'm also open to any other tips anyone may have for optimizing battery life while still maintaining smartphone-like functionality (I don't want to turn sync off, etc.). I also have my brightness low to help preserve battery life.

You may want to go back to existz rom forum and see if your able to use ice colds latest 9.8.8 bfs kernel.

O are you talking about existz aospX ICS rom. Im on that one and Idk man I thought about switching out the kernel but they said to leave it maybe flash a radio to help out some signal and battery life. Now some members say that battery calibration is not necessarily but I do and I use this app to do so Idk for me it seems to do great. https://play.google.com/store/apps/...xLDEsImNvbS5uZW1hLmJhdHRlcnljYWxpYnJhdGlvbiJd
But I would say make sure did a full wipe when flashing a new rom unless otherwise I always do a full wipe when I flash. And I also do a wipe battery stats when I go to a new rom.

Thats what I wanted to do cause for me I do like flashing kernels but the members on that thread said to stay with it and honestly its actually a good set up. I never stick with the kernel that comes with it and this time I am. The latest BR3 on existz rom is frosted cherry..and BR2 was doughnut.
Aospx kernel is for existz's aospx rom.
Lords kernel is for his aokp rom.
NO NEED to change kernels on existz's aosp rom.
