alright so, I recently flashed miui(latest available version) and there were a couple of questions I had
The first one is, how come torch doesn't work?
or is it just me?
Also, is there anyway to add or remove the toggles in the pull down notifications?
Thanks

#1 is answered in the issues of the miui thread in the dev section. Its a known bug being fixed.

Ah, gotcha thank you
Anyone know about my second question?
thanks

You generally get better help asking your questions in that particular ROM's thread. That's where the people using it are checking.
But Tesla LED from the Market will probably work for you and Widgetsoid also from the Market allows you to easily add toggles to the pull down shade. I do not use MIUI however and am just giving general advice.

Hello,
Thanks very much for another useful service - I just changed my HTC Kaiser for a Samsung Skyrocket II.
I rooted the phone and installed some of the roms available here. However, I like some of the aesthetics of the stock rom (color backgrounds, size of dial pads, and keyboards).
I am wondering if there is any custom rom - especially ICS - that retains some of the stock background and colors?
Thanks - Manny
Why the hell did you post this in the dev section instead of q&a

apologies --- thought it will get more exposure among "Developers" for obvious reasons.
But will copy / move to QA section

1) Q&A section
2) Embryo, Alien 8, ChicagoRemix, and Smooth Ice Galaxy SIII if you want the new TW on SIII. They are all on the front page, all have pictures. Try looking some next time.
Yea there is duh. Theres a ics 5.0.0 rom made just for the skyrocket. You should try it. Google it
AOKP Android 4.0.4

that is sometimes i wont be able to the incoming call also if i dial a number then i cant see the contact image instead its just like no call is going on ..if i press return to call in progress via phone app..then, it just minimizes.. the only way to make things work again is a reboot.

nexus 5 help and troubleshooting threads go here, not in the general section http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/help
you already started 2 thread in general, do not start another in the help section, wait for a mod to move your thread there.
Sorry actually when i tried to upload xda says server error ..so i keep retrying that's why its twice ..any ways i will post in nexus 5 thread..

So I was wondering if anyone knows of a mod or someway I can put superuser settings in the settings tab instead of my app drawer? I'm trying to do it on stock firmware on the boost mobile variant.

Please search the forum before posting.
There are threads which shows you how to mod Settings. apk to add different strings to it.
Here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2283122
Thanks. Even though I had searched this was my last resort to ask.

And the mod was not compatible BTW to anybody wanting to try it. At least not for me.

Why don't you ask some developers of the official thread to help you out. Just PM them, they may take time to respond but they will be a lot helpful to you. Hope it helps.
I know that there a whole lot of rom posts for individual roms. I AM NOT TAKING ANY CREDIT FOR OTHERS WORK! ANY OF THESE ROMS SHUOLD BE IN THE FORMS. I am doing this becuase most of the time download links are broken or the download site for a rom is shuts down. So feel free to post your own roms or roms that you have found. Please if you do post a rom, upload it using the attachment button ( OR THE URL TO THE XDA POST) not some other website and if you can include a link and the description from the original author that would be nice. If you have tried a rom you have posted please tell if it is compatible or not, thanks
AS ALWAYS I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY THING YOU DO TO YOUR DEVICE! FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK.
ALWAYS GIVE CREDIT TO THE PEOPLE WHO WORK SO HARD ON THESES ROMS, DONT BE RUDE!

I found a bunch of ROMs here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-3/development
But I havent tried any of them as of yet... Nor, have tired to D/L any..
good luck
Don't you think this thread is a little redundant? Why not just go to the development section. The threads that are active will be good ROMs.

I'm switching between Validus and Liquid Smooth. Both are very smooth with lots of customization. Both have very active G+ communities.
You can always root, install a custom recovery and try a ROM. Just backup your stock ROM and you can always switch back. Takes like maybe three minutes to reinstall a backup.

If you want the official update for kikat when it comes out, then find the official stock rom and keep in a safe place. When u hear that the update was released use titanium backup back up your apps, then flash the stock and it will say your device is offical and let you update. Once updated, go into download mode and flash twrp. Twrp will root your device. Once rooted, reinstall titanium backup, restore your apps. WHEN USING TITANIUM BACKUP ONLY BACKUP USER APPS AND DATA ONLY. DO NOT BACK UP SYSTEM APPS, it causes problems and makes things crash, its not pretty( I did it ). There you have it. run stock rooted with the newest official update. Of course you could just flash a custom kikat rom that would be easier.

Hey I know this isn't a rom but its mod that can be flashed.

You can not attach a rom using the attachment option on XDA. The file size would be too big.
The thread is useless.

NO, BUT, the OP wants to compile a list of ROMS with links that actually DO work.
and Not sift thru the other section to find a pile of broken links,,
So far.. unfortunately, it hasn't happened as of yet.

There are tons of custom Roms for tab 3 8.0 but I recommend the stock ROM with different kernel for over clocking features.

Speaking of stock rom, does anyone know where I can download a copy of the stock rom and/or kitkat? Every place I have found so far either requires a paid subscription or throws up a download unsuccessful error. Any help would be appreciated.
