Is there anyways to get Samsung apps on a custom ROM? Download SApps for Note 3?I find that while the 4.4.2 Roms generally work great, that lack of SApps and especially the one hand functionality, really reduce how great these Roms can be.
Or are there custom Roms based specifically on Samsung's original ROM that include the SApps?
Or is the best bet just to root Samsung's Roms?
Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,
I have been looking in the custom roms section for this tab, and it's amazing how many rom there is (good thing! very different from my motorola phone...)
I bought this tab as present for christmas, and would like to install a custom rom on it (mainly in order to increase things like battery life, stability...)
So I am looking for a easy to use rom, with all functionallity working, and most important very stable. I don't care of it being the latest android or CM, i prefer stability, the person that will use it is the totally opposite of a geek It also needs to be multilangage
Thanks in advance if you are able to give me some suggestions.
Regards.
If the person is not a geek I wouldn't install a custom rom
I would root a stock rom, uninstall the bloatware, install my favorite apps and stop

Or Something like Tab2lite or whatever it's called that is a STOCK but HEAVILY DEBLOATED firmware.
If you want to retain FULL functionality then you will need to go with a STOCK BASED custom ROM, I believe your choices are ROMSWELL and Tab2lite

As long as this doesn't turn into a my ROM is better than your ROM or a playground for people trying to get 10 posts.....it can stay open.
I'm running beanstown build 20 on my Note 2 and i love it!
I wanted stock android with some of the features that touchwiz offer. Very well put together ROM.
thanks for all answer ,im using stock rom right now  please give thanks to my post please :victory:
Jellybam
If you have one of it's many supported devices, I highly reccomend Jellybam. Jellybam has many features from many ROMs, and is not disimiliar to PAC-Rom, but I find many more options to customize, like custom notification background, and even custom halo color etc.
Overall, for my P3110, the ROM is quite fast, even without over clock, and the Deva update it quite frequently, plus these updates are stable and most of the time quite major and useful

Just recently picked up the Carbon rom and loving it! I use them for the customization and the fact that they boost performance and battery life
The phone I own is a first gen LG Optimus V. The ROM I use now is MiRaGe CM7.2 ROM. The reasons I rooted and flashed was to get better performance, over clocking, USB Tethering, removel of all bloat ware and useless apps, and to be able to make Nandroid backups of my installed ROM, apps, and settings. Before I did all this, I ran stock Froyo 2.2.1 and was plagued with all sorts of problems the LG Optimus phones were known for. And I was 100% o.k. with voiding my warranty too.:good::laugh:
my device is alcatel currently using experia by shinjarey, long battery life and smooth.
I use original rom

My old HTC Desire used Cyanogen Mod, my current HTC One X and S3 are using Stock Roms still.
My tablet at the moment using Ubuntu Touch, might go for another rom as the Ubuntu Touch is missing some key features I want in the tablet right now as it is a Dev release. Will hopefully go back to Ubuntu Touch in a later release when those features are there.

I am looking to get a Galaxy S4 and I am definately going to get stock android on it. I just don't want to lose all of the S-features like hover and s-view and all of those motions. Is there any way I can get a stock rom with some customizations and also keep all of the features. I am probably not going to use the features but it is just something I can show my friends and stuff.
You must look andriod development section of the s4 at xda (Not original andriod devlopment).
In above forum developers put great efforts to tweak the roms as per their taste. These custom roms are built by modifying/stripping/hacking samsung stock rom. So you will get all the features you want +a custom rom.

No, there's not. You must choose between largely useless fluff and stock Android. Just a suggestion: If you really want to have the best experience with stock Android, go for the 9505. With that, you have the option of a) stock ROM b) Google Edition ROM and c) Cyanogen or AOSP ROM all of which run very well on it, but don't on the 9500 thanks to Exynos.
hello i was hoping someone could suggest a rom for me i am looking for a stock like rom with a lot of customizations runs fast and stable any suggestions would be great thanks a bunch

Hello, there are some modified stock roms if you are into that. However, I use CyanogenMod 11 on my Blaze. It has Android 4.4.2 If I am not mistaken, it is the most widely used ROM in phones.
Here is CM 11 for the Blaze. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2566075
For some modified Stock Roms, or a little more, refer to the old testament of the Blaze Bible. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574556
The only thing to keep in mind is that on kitkat there are a few bugs. Whereas ics and 4.1.2 (cm10) our blaze maintains all function.

ok thanks again
Last month i braved upgrading my Galaxy Tab 2 to the custom ROM by CyanogenMod (11).
This gave me what I required with regards to having multiple profiles on Tablet for me and kids. However what i did not realise is that i would lose various bits of functionality.
ie The camera is not as good, the video camera is not as good and can no longer connect device to Samsung TV.
So what I am wondering is "Is there a Custom ROM" that delivers the missing functionality (believe they all need Touchwiz which is not built into CyanogenMod.
is there a custom ROM based on Android 4.3 (Jellybean) which also has Touchwiz? ie it will give me multiple profiles and the Samsung camera/video recorder?
Thanks in advance
Steve
If no one can help, maybe just make a nandroid of your current ROM and try out some others.

I believe sungsonic should work for you. Stock modded rom. I lost my cable so I cant check but its what I was dualbooting with cm11.
Thats the other option, just dualboot. One rom for you, one for the kids.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk
This is the one reason why the dual boot solution was made.
Or you could just rollback to CM10.1. I was having stability issues so I did that a few months ago. It's light years more stable than CM11.
