They will do it when they are done. No point asking for ETA.
If you cant wait, there are a few alpha builds, albeit quite buggy.
In "CUSTOM ROM CENTRAL" there are OmniROM, PAC ROM, Paranoid Android, SlimRoms, AOKP but no CyanogenMod. Why? CyanogenMod is one of the most popular ROM. Then?

Right now I do that have that expertize in porting. I've just learnt how to compile from sources and now trying to add support for a new device.
Sorry but I'll surely do this in future :laugh:

no probs man....
I'd be glad to test out roms rather than CM based ones,all CM based roms tend to have bugs related to CM in one way or another. If you could port some other roms aosp or any other I'll be glad to give them a try and give you some feedback.

In github write to the author firmware @k2wl. He is a local, need to ask him.
I am in the market for a new phone and am seriously considering this phone. But I would rather use a custom ROM on the phone. I have been previously using ArchiDroid 3.x on Galaxy S3 (Excellent ROM and very stable). Will this phone ever have a good developer support. Are the custom ROMs available for this phone stable enough for daily usage?

Most of the ROMs are ready as daily drivers. As u can see 4 ROMs are already under development. So we can expect a good future.

Wilson3q build is Smoothest yet
I am using @wilson3q builds from last 20 days and can confirm that they are getter better with every new release. In latest built (20151002), whatever games I've thrown have worked, no fc's or random reboots yet (in last 3 days) and the rom is smmothest ever for our device, battery backup is also not bad, getting around 18 hrs. of backup with moderate usage (wifi on, 3G).
Im using @omerjerk realese 2. It is working perfectly.

The official rom has double tap to wake
But still this option sucks!
It automatically dials numbers , sends messages etc.
