Hello!
Have you ever seen an app which places an icon in taskbar which allow to kill currently active app by click on it. I have seen only one app with success this requirement - "SmartBar", but it drains my battery and have too much unnesesary features.
I will be perfect if someone can develop such application of tells an existing one. I think it'll be rather useful for users.

We are in serious need of this. What do people do on Cynagen mod roms? Surely hacking community has been around long enough to work out waht to do when the x doesnt x - just like htc's lol

Hi, I apologize in advance if I'm wrong section.
We do not care to help me, I tried different rom and I do not know, I can give the best rom modified with longer battery life? Even though at the expense of speed, wanted to know that at which lasts longer the battery. Thank you.
Instead of changing roms why not just keep the stock one and remove apps from your phone that you don't need and install setcpu. My battery is just fine on stock rom

I already tried the rom modified with SetCPU and juice defendere installed, I would like to know just what is the best rom in battery life, I need an answer from someone who has tried several.
I've tried so far: acura 7.1, thaizo 2.4 / 2.5, acura samba v2, rushdroid, trip style. Help me with
I haven't tried all of them but just from my researching it seems that the alot of people like thaiz so far. That's until cm7 is stable than that will probably be the best. Just my two cents

cm7 has a lot of problems right? I think I read that the 3d is not working

Yes cm7 does have problems still. They are also still in the midst of working on it though. No 3d yet cause of the 3d framework

I haven't try much of custom ROM, but I think set CPU and juicedefender beta help me so much.
auto network setting to only 2g and set cpu min 300 at idle just do fine..
not much but better than nothing.

Trip style? can you elaborate on that one please? what is it? and before people start talking about search button crap, I did and it didn't help

probably not cause it won't have 3d as @#[email protected]% LG made sure to keep their freaking 3dframework proprietary...

same.not yet not ever if lg doesn't realease the 3d framework. What they answered to me on their opensource forums is that they do not have plans to release the proprietary (they wrote that on bold) real3d framework in the near future. If you consider that near future for them is a relative term (you will get gb in the near future they said, and so they do say about ICS now) most likely it will go opensource when their real4D framework is released for the holographic timespace merging 4D optimus phone (somewhere around 2525A.D)...

Hello tripstyle is the Italian Rom, at the moment is hard to find, it was present on this site, I do not know why it was closed www.ipmart-forum.it perhaps illegal content!
To recognize it if you find somewhere, remember that power had an animation of a robotic eye.

do u happen to have kept the rom when u downloaded it so u can post it someplace? would be very interested to try it... Anything that has trip included in its name catches my eye...

I'm sorry but having bought the phone used was pre-installed, then I just changed rom, so I have no files. However, do not miss anything, it was my best as Roma.
No one who shows me a rom with longer battery life?

Just have moved from HTC to an S4.
Any chance of an HTC dialler, and the HTC gallery, ported so they can be used on touchwiz?
I prefer them to the TW apps...

Unfortunately probably not, both HTC and touchwiz apps require there specific frameworks. They are tied to the framework so they won't run without it.

Updated the op and cleaned it up a bit, hope you like. Does anyone know of any more? Please post of any ports that you know of that exist throughout XDA and I will update the op asap. Also, if someone with an HTC device are able to post ports from those devices, I will add a section to the op with those.

Also slightly out of topic, but you were going to make your first rom how did that go? Was looking around to see if I can test it on my s3 (gave it to my mom as a hands me down, only a drive away lol)

Thanks for that. Ill add that Google wallet to the op. I figured that I would kind of merge this off of that S3 thread since these will pretty much work on every phone anyway.
Ya know, i started development on a custom s3 rom for several weeks and then real life started to get in the way with my wifes medical issues and had to kind of loose interest on it for a bit. I still have everything that I have done so far and hope to start having a little more free time in the next few days to continue with it. :fingers-crossed:

Just about everthing in this thread 'should' work on any single rom except for the touchwiz based apps since they require there specific framework to run. The HTC apps are the same although I havent added any yet that specifically require the HTC framework. Check the op of those threads though and anybody can post if they come across any with other dependencies that I missed. These have all only been tested and installed by me on the T999, the T-mobile galaxy S3.

First off, I'm not the original creator of this. All credit and endless thanks goes to @zeppelinrox for making this and constantly making it fly a bit higher, stronger, better, and definitely faster.
Also, I'm only posting this because of all the hype I'm seeing lately over the CrossBreeder mod. (Certainly CB is great, but Zep's work is thanked by the originator of CB, and as you'll come to see, is much more extensive and tweakable, hence the name--V6SuperCharger.) Zep's work is amazing and I'm surprised there hasn't been more, if any really, mention of it in our threads. Also, in looking through both the V6 thread and the CB thread, they are compatible--for the most part--and will run concurrently.
Enough talk...again, because of all the amazement over the CrossBreeder mod, I felt it extremely necessary to share Zep's V6SuperCharger script. See for yourselves, and please post responses about your experiences and what not. (Just don't bash the meticulous work of either developer, please.)

In addition to the above link for the V6SuperCharger script, you're gonna need to modify your services.jar file. This is necessary for completely supercharging your launcher, for getting the OOM values to stick, and therefore allow you to be %100 V6Supercharged. @zepplinrox has a seperate thread for this (in Android Development forum). The tool is a .zip file, which you run from your computer with the device connected via USB. It contains what you'll need to have the services.jar patch process fully automated.

I have, and even ran the ultimatic services.jar script to patch the launcher, in order to get it to 100% supercharged...as the script states, made the phone screaming fast.

i have no idea what that is but i wish I hadn't run it on my phone
I'm running it with SHOshock ROM and KT's kernal, using "1000HP" mode that was recommended, everything all around is quicker, snappier, seems completely stable. Keep in mind I'm a noob, I just followed the instructions on his page and read everything that was happening, and choose the proper settings.

Actually, if you let the cust-oomizer run (option 10), it will boost the values even higher, since our device had 1800 free RAM, and not just 1000. Check it out and let it apply those customized values. You'll be Super-custom-charged!

Those look good to me. The ones that say "no" are just for pseudo-cleanup. You can run them as needed. Personally, after I've setup everything, I run option #18 (vacuum) and it keeps things snappy. Other than that, if you're 100% supercharged, enjoy the speed, sir!

I am going to try this, but the hardware on the G3 is completely different here, should this get a complete overhaul for the G4? Just a question.

Zep recently stated he's woking on a bit of a newer version, but firmly maintains that his script is for ALL Android devices (regardless of how new). The only thing I've noticed that really tunes this specifically for our device is to run the Cust-OOMizer values, as they boost much higher than the 1000+ option.
It's definitely worth it on our device; you'll see. Remember, the script adjusts and customizes automatically to the values of the device for which it's run.
Of course, if for any reason you don't like the mod or any part of it, you can completely uninstall it (one of the options) or you can choose to apply this or that or whatever specific aspects/values you'd like--which is just one of the many great qualities of this script.

I've actually been running this script along with CB and they play nicely together! Just to be sure that V6 runs completely after reboots and stays at 100%, in SManager I go to /data and find supercharger.sh and set it to run as root and run at boot. Try it out and see if any specific combos work/feel better for you and share your thoughts here.

Hi!
I am looking for a ROM that is super customisable, saves power (I'm using and old phone that overheats) and really stable for my Samsung Galaxy S4.
Right now I'm using Lineage but it isn't customisable to my liking and it uses a lot of battery even on power saving mode...
