[HELP] Unable to debug MIUI V6 Port Logcat

Trying to port MIUI V6 from Nexus 5 got upto bootanimation guys i logcatted and am unable to debug it. Hope u guys can help me on it. Check attached for the logcat,

but what base are you using to port it? miui with android version 4.4.2 needs base rom with android version 4.4.2.
although the error seems like it needs framework modifications. will take a look this weekend.

the rom was taken from nexus 5 and is a WIP i used cm11 of 4.4.2 as base.

E/PhonePolicy( 512): Could not preload class for phone policy: com.android.internal.policy.impl.PhoneWindow$ContextMenuCallback
after this the phone went to bootloop

Nexus 5 is far from identical to Moto G
we need to select the device atleast with same resolution and processor(snapdragon 400 should do).

correct.. nexus 4 should better suit, but does not have a proper port. But i guess OP is still closer than it appears

please suggest a device which is identical to moto G which has got MIUI so that i we can try porting

We don't need a device that's identical to the moto g, but a similar device with at least the same resolution (xhdpi). So the nexus 4 may be a good choice

IMO, the Xiaomi RedMi 1S will be the perfect base to port MIUI to Moto G, when it gets MIUI based on Android 4.4.x.
It has HD display and a Snapdragon 400 SoC.

And how about the soft buttons? "Mi" phones doesn't have, I don't know if all you have to do is change the DPI

First line, next to the picture at your link: "Also known as Xiaomi Redmi 1s"
So the two phones are the same...but I don't why it has two names.
On the other hand, unfortunately, there is nothing about that, when it gets KK based MIUI.

[Help & Support] Xiaomi Mipad Custom Rom development.

Hello developers of Nvidia Sheild tablet. We all know Xiaomi Mi pad hardware configuration are almost identical with Nvidia Sheild tablet with both having same CPU and GPU.
However due to recent release of MIPAD kernels(partial) link - https://github.com/MiCode/Xiaomi_Kernel_OpenSource/tree/mocha-kk-oss
after a wait of 2.5 years of Tablet launch, we don't have much support and help left.
So we need some help and support in our kernel and rom development to move out of KitKat 4.4 MIUI OS which destroyed the Nvidia tegra K1 capabilities.
Hope some enthusiastic developers from Sheild tablet help us with Rom porting and kernel development. We have lots of tester available here at forum XDA MIPAD section and also MIUI forum website.
Please help!!

Some developer from 4pda.ru just ported successfully Sheild Lollipop kernel . But graphics parts of kernel still missing.If some developer from Sheild tablet can help us, it will be huge thing for us

I asked LuckyMeAgain to publish on the official website, so it's the same thing. I am ArtemkaVZM on 4pda and arttt on en.miui.com.

10or | 10.or | Tenor | Kernel sources released

Hi Guys,
I don't know when this happened, but 10.or now has released the Kernel sources of both their devices (10.or E and 10.or G) on their website.

Now since the kernel sources are released for these devices, can we expect any development support for these devices like TWRP and Custom ROMs support. We need at least TWRP support to enjoy the taste of a rooted 10.or.
Since these devices have got a good spec, it should definitely have developers support. So any devs out there interested to make TWRP or Custom ROMs for these devices, you are very much thankful.
I'm planning to buy a 10.or G and expect at least that device to have TWRP

Please Make Custom Rom For This Device , This Device has awesome hardware specification ! Dual 13+13 Rear Camera and Front is 16Mp Camera and it has SD626 Processor But this Device Doesnt Support Quick Charging But Qualcomm Says That SD 625 AND 626 Has Quick Charging 3.0 i Think With Software Customization You Can Enable That Option and it has Many Remaining Features To enable...Tenor provided us Stock nogut therefore We are missing many Features in this Device !

I think we don't have any good developers considering this device since there are many other good phones for development at this price (Redmi Note 4, Moto G5 Plus, etc). I highly doubt that these 10or devices will get good developer support. Feeling sad.

Lol. Even if a developer gets this device, it's just useless. 10 or E bootloader is not unlockable. It can't be unlocked. So even if I port TWRP for 10 or, it can't be flashed because of the locked bootloader.

Oh. I was not aware that it's bootloader is not unlockable. That was a good device with pure AOSP. Should've had a great developer support if the bootloader was unlockable.

Did you check the device forum already. There seem to be quite a lot of ROM's to be available.
