Backup needed?
I'm pretty new to this matter, so excuse me if I ask stupid questions... Do you recommend a backup before running the app or is it not necessary? also, do I need a program to do a proper backup or do I just copy-paste card and phone memory into my pc and then copy-paste it back? Can a rooted device be connected to a pc or will this crash the phone?
Also when I tried to download framaroot I was asked to complete a survey - yes the kind of surveys that charge you an amount of money per week - is there any way to get past it? I don't want an untrusted source to get my phone number. Although they say you can cancel any time, I don't trust this kind of activities...
However, older versions, 1.9.0 and below are available w/o survey (idk if they ask for one when you run it). Should I opt for an older version? Is this ok?

Just Google for the latest version of the Framaroot, it's every where on the net, you don't have to get it from the web asking to complete the surveys.
Rooting by Framaroot is very safe. Backup isn't necessary as far as I did. My device status in still OFFICIAL upon rooted by it.

Thanks, did this and it seemed it worked too. It taken me too CWM recovery as well when I clicked the prompt of 'reboot in recovery?'
But it never took me again there (but stock recovery) with Up Arrow + Power button combination. If I select boot in recovery in the MU menu, it takes to stock recovery.
Do we need to use MU every time, push img and then choose prompt to goto CWM?
Please help.

Hello Guys! This Guide is to tell you all things about rooting your A600.In this guide we will discuss about:-
*How to root A600?
*Advantages of rooting A600.
*Disadvantages
*What can we do after rooting?
So Guys Lets start!
Q. What is Rooting?
Ans. Rooting is the process of allowing users of smartphones, tablets and other devices running the Android mobile operating system to attain privileged control (known as root access) over various Android's subsystems. As Android uses the Linux kernel, rooting an Android device gives similar access to administrative permissions as on Linux or any other Unix-like operating system such as FreeBSD or OS X.
Rooting is often performed with the goal of overcoming limitations that carriers and hardware manufacturers put on some devices. Thus, rooting gives the ability (or permission) to alter or replace system applications and settings, run specialized apps that require administrator-level permissions, or perform other operations that are otherwise inaccessible to a normal Android user. On Android, rooting can also facilitate the complete removal and replacement of the device's operating system, usually with a more recent release of its current operating system.
Fore More Further Info Go here--> http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rooting_(Android_OS)
Q. What are Advantages of Rooting?
Ans.
*Now you have full access on your phone.
*Now you can increase performance of your phone via different methods.
*Now you can add many new features in your phone.
*Now you can change ROM of your phone & Much More.
Q. What are Disadvantages of Rooting?

Ans.
*Now you have full access on your phone.
*Now you can increase performance of your phone via different methods.
*Now you can add many new features in your phone.
*Now you can change ROM of your phone & Much More.
