MOAR 9.0 no wifi no data - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Hello. I have saferoot'ed and safestrap'ed my SCH i535. I then flashed MOAR rom on a separate partition and launched MOAR 9.0! Now the problem is that I cannot get WIFI to work. My data doesn't work either, since I am using an AT&T sim in a VZW phone. I can get the data to work on stock rom. Anyone else having these issues? Any suggestion?

Did you flash the kernel modules after you flashed moar from the safestrap thread?

Badusername,
I don't quiet follow. How do you flash kernel modules? Can you point me in the right direction, BTW I followed the link here

In the safestrap thread there are kernel modules you need to flash following every rom installation, you flash them after each rom installation on the new slot. If you don't wifi won't work.

I re-read the safestrap post again and found that I missed the step you mentioned! Thanks for the clarification. Is there anything I can do to get my VZW phone get faster data speeds. Using Ookla, I get ~0.14Mbps download and 0.10 upload speeds. Thanks.

[Q] How to update baseband/radio/modem

Hi everyone,
My verizon galaxy s3 right now has a baseband of I535VRLHE.
First I was wondering which baseband is most recent, I have heard of MB1, MF1, etc. I know where to get these software updates but I have not found out how to actually update the baseband. Right now, I am jumping between many roms but as of this moment I am on an unofficial cm 10.1 build. They suggest getting on MF1 modem, but I really have no idea how do it.
Thanks for the help,
PS: I looked for quite a while so please don't tell me to keep looking or something like that.

Flash in recovery, baseband updates are always in alphabetical order, most recent is mf1.

Do I need to wipe anything for flashing it? Also, its ok to flash baseband updates with a custom rom installed?
And these will make my radios stronger, and thus my signal stronger?\
Thanks

theres really no answer to pt3
What modem do you guys suggest flashing to. Right now I am on I535VRLHE and by my understanding that is extremely outdated. So just to make sure again no wiping anything, no formatting, no anything? And I should be flashing an update in either twrp or cwm? I know these questions sound stupid when I said I flash roms daily, but I really do not want to risk bricking my beloved s3 hahaha.
Thanks for taking your time to help me.
from what i understand the modem that works best for you will depend mostly on location. they might get better as they update, but i get teh same signal on the latest as I did on a modem from a few updates ago.
you can download the all in one packages here
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/34053-firmware-vrbmf1-modemrpmtzsbl-verizon-sgs3-sch-i535/
reboot into recovery, then flash, reboot back to the ROM. if youre worried, make a backup. things can always go wrong i guess.
Ok thank you again, another question haha sorry. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1788313&page=6 In this thread, the first few pages say to flash via odin and what not none of them confirm being able to flash through recovery. Have you ever flashed a radio through recovery?
Also what advantages does an AIO have compared to just the modem.

[Q] Keep losing network connectivity

I have a Verizon GS3 and had Clean Rom 6 installed for over a year with no problems. Last week I decided to flash to Clean Rom 8 and often during the day at random times I'd all of a sudden have no network coverage - 1x, 3g, or 4g. The only thing that would get it back was putting it in Airplane mode and then taking it out. I wasn't sure if it was the Rom so I flashed today to the SlimKat Rom based off of Kit Kat and i'm having the same problems. Is there something with my radio/antenna that i needed to do as well? Like i said i had zero problems with this before I moved to a new Rom last week.
Thanks

Go here and flash the mf1 aio. Reboot the phone, check again to make sure you're on the correct mf1 baseband, then flash the ml1 modem:

I have a new N5 and its unlocked and rooted. I get LTE just fine on the stock rom but when I flash any custom roms, LTE doesn't work. Even when I restore my backed up EFS on the custom rom, LTE still doesn't work. Anytime I nandroid back to my stock rom, LTE works fine. Any ideas or help will be appreciated.

What sprint software? forgive me im new to this. I did make a backup of my apn of my stock rom and restored it when i flashed a custom rom, but it didn't make a difference.

I think there's some extra APKs you need to add to custom ROMs.
I fixed the issue. I unrooted and returned my phone back to stock. Then I found a sprint. Zip that you flash with custom roms and that worked.

Its a zip to flash after roms that sets the correct APN settings for sprint. I can't remember the thread I found it in though. But it was for the same issue I was having with my LTE/3g switching.

The reason I am searching through posts is this: my 3G works fine. But when it kicks over to LTE... Nothing happens... In a minute or two I may get 4 mbs or something pretty good and then nothing again. I need it to actually work. My wife has the same issue on her S4 and she is stock. It switches over to LTE.... Nothing. I have LTE off mostly. Steady slow 3g is better than no progress on LTE.
update profile
Should provide the correct settings in the custom Roms assuming the creator added the update profile features. I know cm does

[GUIDE] Trick To Root 4.3 VRUCNC1

Disclaimer: rooting your phone entails risk. You may brick it, cause it to catch fire, cause it to form the first node in the Skynet network, or otherwise render it inoperable.
Step 1: flash ML1_KERNEL.tar via ODIN.
Step 2: get saferoot from here.
direct download
Step 3: Unzip the saferoot.zip
You should have the following when done:
- a file called "install.bat"
- a file called "install.sh"
- a folder called "files"
Step 4 - Root your phone
Double click on the "install.bat" to run the root. It will root and reboot your phone. Once that's done, you're rooted!
Step 5: flash back NC1_KERNEL.tar via ODIN.
Now after you got root what to do! Check this usefull thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2653902
Thanks to:
K1mu for saferoot.

If you can install safestrap and flash wifi modules may this work.
I forgot to mention that I stupidly tried to use EZ-Unlock knowing full well that the bootloader wouldn't unlock. Which resulted in a hard brick. I got out of that using a debrick SD card boot luckily. I planned on flashing with Odin again but thought I would ask first. Should I flash everything or just the WiFi modules?

Could one use this on a Straight Talk S5. It has unlocked bootloader. What would need to be done to flash it?
Hey jkruse the only thing I noticed about the Port is it doesn't save your WiFi connections once you disable WiFi, you'll have to put the passwords to connect to WiFi again.
