Xperia 2013 Home Launcher

Thanks to xperiablog.net for providing the Sony's new launcher
It requires Android 4.0.4.
It is not official, it's leaked and does not contain new widgets or themes, so think it as a beta version
To install the launcher:
1) Enable "Unknown Sources".
2) Install the launcher.
Make sure to backup your currently home launcher before installing the new.
To return to your previous launcher:
Settings --> Apps --> Xperia Home --> Uninstall updates

Its for 4.0.4 which is ICS, try it and look how it'll mess your GB, but who knows. Make a backup and try.

This is not intended for Gingerbread users, but for people who unlocked thier bootloaders and installed ICS on thier PLAY

Works perfectly on markpython, one problem, when you select customize and then Theme, the home would stop working. Theme could be changed by going to settings/display/theme.

Are you sure it's for ICS only? I don't see any note stating that at Xperia Blog. Another thing, the screenshots posted at Xperia Blog are from a GB phone. Correct me if I'm wrong. After all, I won't try it. I'm very happy with Holo Launcher.

I created a zip file of this, lemme do a backup and try if it'll work on GB, cause it does work on markpythons ICS. Brb and have you guys confirmed.

Don't know if possible or not but would be great if it could be ported to GB

Saw on the original thread that it is not for xperia tablet z, and it is only supported up to 4.2.2.

Works for me!! sgp311 4.2.2 stock firmware.
I simply installed the xposed framework and activated it. Then installed the miniapp module and activated it. One shot now it's working.

Also simply installed apk, activated module, rebooted.
Works well under stock 4.1.2.

I downloaded the apk, I installed it, but still cant open more than one mini app, am I missing a step?

1. Download Xposed Installer from PlayStore
2. Download and install the multiple miniapps apk
3. Open Xposed Installer in the app drawer
4. Tap "Modules", tick the "Xperia MultiMiniapps [1.0]
5. Reboot.
That should keep you going.

I think this module was refering to multiple small apps.. Before, only 1 small app can be open at a time but now Sony allowed it. So i think we dont need this module.. Will you can try it anyway...

I tried it, but could get the download links to do anything within the app, it just pops up some message in a different language. Screenshots look good though.

I get an arabic thingy... Even downloaded dropbox and mediafire but doesn't download the launcher...

the message says your device is not compatible. we cant even download the launcher if we are on GB rom

Attached is the link for the file. The downloaded file does state ICS. So thats your answer, however here is the link and if its an issue that I am posting it here will someone let me know and I will remove the link asap.

Sorry I just realized the app requires 2.2 or above
But the launcher requires 4.0 or above to be installed
It worked for me because I'm using a 4.1.1 ROM

Im using an ICS now, and the launcher has 4x4 application drawer and the music widget doesn't work. Too bad. Not that reactive and responsive. But works.

Uhm yeah it's looks almost the same but the one that's missing is the Friend's Music plus I can't seem to find the Now Playing mark. Plus the Track ID History, it's not appearing on my Walkman app even though I have the latest Track ID.

Turn on music unlimited in Walkman settings and all will appear.

I tried it. Nothing special I can't already do with Nova or gpe launcher for that matter.
Everyone touting it as revolutionary because it puts your most used shortcuts on the desktop. I can do that.
Doesn't support widgets (yet)
It's prebeta so I'm sure it will improve but I wasn't really impressed. Feels laggy on my note 3 (again, still prebeta)
I'll keep it on here and keep updating because I want to see what improvements they make, if any.

That seems to be a bug with beta itself for most of them.I think it has nothing to do with mod.
