I'm actually making a rom based on this!
Would be in development section by tomorrow
IMO it would be much better if:
1.statusbar was exactly like kitkat - you know, this fading in black
2.quickmenu active wifi and data were orange, like kitkat

Hey Man!
The statusbar becomes gradient (fading in black) if you use the google now/experience launcher
and those toggles doesn't stay orange even in kitkat the become white after some time

Thanks for reply, but i've found out how to do it without gel.
Just get tinted status bar for xposed, find the launcher app and set opacity to 66000000 - i think it's a bit easier method and you can stay on your current launcher(nova, apex or trebuchet) - you can include this in the tutorial if you want.
Awesome work
I was just thinking thinking today, how to get the UI in cm10 and here you are. Is there any gps bug? If no, its on my phone before you say kitkat
P.S. Google has expired all the xposed links with the message:
"We're sorry. You can't access this item because it is in violation of our Terms of Service."

It doesn't change nothing with gps, so it should be working like it was before
You can get xposed from here - http://dl.xposed.info/latest.apk
Then you can get gravitybox from xposed.

Hey, thanks! I've wanted that in JB for ages!
Thanks!
Now if we can just make the flip settings module work, it works on 4.3 Roms. Dunno why it won't work on 4.1

TIPS
WARNING!!!!
Before anything be surre that you have a backup if not.....
Make a backup and it will be better to use TWRP
....chose all the options ticking as well the EFS to be backup and keep that TWRP folder in your PC
in this way you can recover your IMEI if someday you will need it
When you flash for the first time the ROM if it stuck when is doing the wipe or at the final when you press the FINISH button then just make a long press on the power button (around 7-9 seconds) and that will make the Phone to reboot again in Recovery menu…. Then Flash again the ROM
If you choose the clock in the middle of the status bar and you can see the clock just plug the phone on your PC or make a screenshoot after the flash.
If you choose a level of transparency on the aroma and after flash you can´t see the status bar transparent just drag pulling down the status bar

Thank you mate... well... in my previous roms (no published here) the battery life was excelent .... this version it is based on one of the last leaks of Samsung (N7100XXDLL7_N7100PHNDLL3) and unfortunateley it have implemented in the rom the patch for the Root exploit on Exynos bug security and that is make the rom to spend a little bit more energy....
...anyway.... give it some days.... normaly after the second charge you can see an improovement of the energy management
Thanks for the info.
Overall, I do not care for big baterri statistics.
I like the rom it quickly and smoothly
Are you planning to add crt off. Beautiful color combination of your rom with this effect.
For this mode which is not yet on our cell as it is a
not working properly.
Maybe port of CM?

What is xposed installer?
It is a framework!
It allows you to install little apps by which you can mod your XL.
Read Advantages for more info.
Only you will be responsible if anything happens to your phone!
Advantages:
No need to modify any APKs. This means:
No need to decompile, change things in smali, compile, sign, ...It will work for odexed and deodexed ROMs.Your mod is not bound to a specific version of the ROM. Unless there is a major change in the methods called for a certain functionality, your mod will continue to work even when you upgrade your ROM. Hell, it will probably even work with different ROMs.Multiple mods can be installed at the same time, even if they change the same package. So you can use these battery icons and those quick toggles. Even hooking the same method twice is possible. Of course, this only works properly if the mods are not trying to do incompatible things.
It does its magic at runtime. That means you can implement options to let the user decide if they prefer the bikeshed to be painted in red or blue. Or you can have some extra logic for certain ROMs without building different mod versions.
It can be disabled easily without having to reflash.
It's open source.
Download:
You can download the installer from the attachment or from thread mentioned above
How to install:
First step for everything you do: Create a nandroid backup and make sure you know how to restore it!
There is also the risk to soft-brick your device. In such a case, restoring a backup is the easiest way to get rid of it
Download XposedInstaller.apk and install it
Launch the Xposed Installer and click on "Install/Update"
Reboot
Done!
In case you get into a boot loop:
You can flash the attached Xposed-Disabler-CWM.zip by Tungstwenty. It will be copied to your (external) SD card when you install Xposed as well. The only thing it does is copying /system/bin/app_process.orig back to /system/bin/app_process, which you can also do yourself (e.g. with adb shell in recovery mode).
You could also create a file /data/xposed/disabled, which causes Xposed to be bypassed as well.
Modules:
You can find modules collection here-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327541
Click to collapse
Installation process-
Download .apk and install it
Launch the Xposed Installer and go to the "Modules" tab (you will also get there if you click on the notification warning you that the module is not enabled yet)
Enable the module by checking the check-box
Reboot
Done!
Please let me know which Modules are working perfectly on XL and I will add in my post
ENjOy...!!
Don't forget to hit thanks button for sharing this..!

Post this on original Xposed thread on XDA, they will help you better there.
Anyway, this is the modules that are working for me in XL and Xposed (I'm using this modules on my phone)
- GravityBox
- Serajr's Xperia Xposed (the best ever)
- Xperia Flip Settings (But I'm on stock, so I can't remove the original Sony's Toogles from UI, but is ok for me)
- PerAppFonts (Awesome, just my desired apps are using other fonts than the stock)
YES !
It's working awesomely smooth, you saved me from smali baksmali xml etc. nonsense.Thank you very much ma friend !

What do I want?
The Honami Z1 look or the AOSP One.
This is the question that eats up every single Xperia L user.
Why not get the best of both?
That's where K.A.P comes along. (Btw, K.A.P is short for KitKat AOSP Pureness)
So now lets know the features:
1. Based on 15.3.A.O.26 Firmware
2. Debloated (Except for the user apps)
3. Deodexed
4. All APKs Zipaligned
5. A lot of Kitkat apps of course (Calendar, Camera, Email, Gallery, Gmail, Hangouts, Keep, KitKat Clock, CM 10.2 Messaging App, Messenger etc.
6. KitKat Home (Of course)
7. Pre-Rooted
8. Super User Mod Installed
9. Busybox 1.21.1 Binaries Installed
10. A mixture of Xperia and AOSP features in the status bar. All Nexus icons. (Wi-fi, Data, Battery and many more)
11. AOSP Lockscreen
12. Transparent Nexus Navigation Bar (But doesn't work with Google Home. Does with Xperia Home)
13. CM Lockscreen Clock.
14. CM Clock Widget
15. Nexus Icon Settings
16. Nexus BootAnimation
17. KitKat Keyboard
18. Kitkat Font
19. KitKat System Sounds
20. You tell me
21. init.d tweaks.
22. build.prop tweaks
23. RAM Tweaks
How to Install:
Sorry guys I couldn't give you a flashable zip. My computer got busted just after I finished making the ROM.
All I was left with was a Nandroid Backup.
I paid a dude 200 taka to upload the Nandroid Backup for me.
But don't worry, It works. I tried it 3 times.
1. Download the zip and extract it.
2. Inside it, you will find a folder called clockworkmod.
3. Copy it and paste it in the root of your Internal SD Card.
4. Fastboot a kernel with CWM (i USED PHANTOM KERNEL V3)
5. Enter CWM
6. Make a Nandroid backup. (In case anything happens)
6. Go to Mounts and Storage.
7. press format/system
8. Go back and go to Backup and restore.
9. Press Restore.
10. Press 1970-01-10.22.10.47
11. Wait.
12. Wipe Data, Cache and Dalvik-Cache.
13. Reboot.
14. Update Google Search to make the app-drawer normal.
15. Your Done. Enjoy the show.

Bro, The nexus buttons are transparent. But with google home it doesn't work. Go to the movies app and you will see that transparency is enabled there. If you download Xperia Home, transparency will be automatically available.
And sorry I couldn't make a flashable zip. Thats cause my PC is busted pretty bad. I used another guys pc to upload this. Next version is coming soon. Many more features will be there. That will be a flashable zip or maybe Aroma Installer. Please press thanks and donate so that I can fix my pc and start development for this device. I also going to make a gaming Rom.

that's must gonna be "White" ryth ?
hope OP added on next update... :good:
My review about this ROM:
1)Stock launcher is kinda laggy. Not always, but it has it's moments. Also lacks settings and IMO the 5x5 grill looks bad on our resolution.
FIX:Install kitkat launcher+ from playstore and you'll have same interface, but more smoothness and settings.
2)New camera app has a big issue. The navigation bar is displayed over the camera buttons ( Shot button/Gallery/Switch camera mode ).Also HDR takes photos with bltiz.I can't say if that's a bug or feature, but most likely a bug.
FIX:Luckily we also have the old camera,so use it until next release.
3)The overall UI is is smooth, but it has it's moments when it lags for few seconds. However,I think this is kernel fault.I'm going to flash ThunderZap tomorrow and see if it impreves this.
4)KitKat Clock FC after setting an alarm. However, the alarm isn't canceled. Also,if you set an alarm it will appear in notification bar until you disable it.That's kinda cool.
FIX:If that FC bothers you,use default app.
5)Not all bloatwares are removed.I can still seelay Games,Sony Select,Google+,Messenger+ , but I guess that's just a matter of time
FIX:Use titanium back-up / root explorer to remove them from system/apps.
6)About UI:
A)The icons are changed, but not all.Contact icon is still from Sony for example.
B)The AOSP lockscreen is cool, smooth and works as it should
C)The new Navigation bar is fine, the icons are changed a little.
7)I tested Subway Surfers and it's smooth, same as stock or even a little better (but it might be only placebo effect)
8)I tested Wi-Fi,bluetooth,Play store, etc and all worked normal except the things mentioned above.
What I would like to see in the next update:
-Things from above fixed
-Transparent status bar & navigation bar in KitKat Launcher+
-Full KitKat UI(status bar,icons,etc)
-Maybe include a Kernel like ThunderZap or Phantom kernel by default
-Include some Gravity Box features by default (AOSP toggles(and maybe settings for it in settings app),reboot methods in menu)
That's all I can think about right now.
Overall I prefer this over stock rom.
Congrats and all the best,
Marius.
So, while the great people work on KitKat, why not make your phone look like KitKat? After all, it's pretty simple - I was motivated to do a guide after I saw the GB-to-KK guide on the portal. So, steps:
0. Get CM10. GravityBox won't work with ICS, and XThemeEngine and Theme Chooser don't work too well with stock.
1. Install a good launcher. I recommend Epic Launcher (it's got the leftmost-screen-opens-Google-Now thing) or Nova Launcher (customizable as hell). Both can be found on the Play Store.
2. Get Xposed Framework (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401) and install it. Open the Xposed Installer, and tap Framework. Click Install/Update, and when it's installed, tap Reboot. Get the GravityBox (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2316070) and XThemeEngine (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240180) modules (XThemeEngine is optional, use only if you plan not to use Theme Chooser). Install them as well. Now open the Xposed Installer, tap Modules and enable XThemeEngine and GravityBox.
3a. (if using XThemeEngine) Download this XTheme, and install it (http://d-h.st/RWL). Open XThemeEngine (if you get a message about enabling the Xposed module when you've already done it, just tap outside it). Choose the KITKAT theme and apply it. DO NOT SOFT REBOOT! Do a proper hard reboot, soft reboot causes the phone to hang.
3b. (if using Theme Chooser) Download this Theme Chooser theme, and install it (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2537251) Open Settings > Themes, choose the theme, press Apply. If SystemUI crashes, no problem. It'll come back up in a moment.
4. In GravityBox, open Statusbar Tweaks > Statusbar colors. Now enable icon colors, set the statusbar icon color to #ffffff (or just drag it to the white area). Now go back to Statusbar Tweaks and set the battery indicator style to KitKat battery. Go back to the main menu, and open Transparency management. Set Transparency Manager Mode to Statusbar or Both. Set Statusbar for launcher to 100% and Statusbar for locksceen to 55%.
5. Put this SystemUI.apk in place of your current one (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45499931) in /system/app. If there is a SystemUI.odex present, back it up along with your old SystemUI.apk, and then delete it. Seems to crash some phones. If you want to try it, feel free, but make a backup of both SystemUI.apk and .odex - you'll need both to recover the original if you mess up.
Done!

The only Theme Chooser themes I tried were from the Play Store - none of them worked.
And I never got an FC with this, but if the XTheme doesn't work and the Theme Chooser one does, then use the Theme Chooser theme. *shrug*
I'll update OP to include this.

First of all are u in GT-S5301 then check that ur xposed is fully activated by going on framework & have active & bundled numbers in green same exactly as those in grey. Third try downloading it from here.
Keep me posted if it worked or not

Only for samsun galaxy pocket plus gt-s5301
Tranceparent status bar on lockscreen
All xposed modules make the status bar tranceparent but on lockscreen still black
So i modified a jar file to make it that awesome
If you notice the carrier provider name is shown now
How to :-
1- the rom must be deodexed
2-The status bar should be tranceparent before with xposed module like tweakbox
3-copy the attatched jar file to /system/framework/ and overwrite
4-reboot and wait about 5m

That is My first mod
