Hello,
My Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" P5100 screen stops responding if I didn't touch it for few seconds! I have to press the power button to lock the screen and then press it again to unlock then it will respond, and will stop responding again after few seconds if I didn't touch it!!!!
The device is not modified at all. It has the stock ROM.
Please help me fixing this problem

reboot into recovery and wipe cache partition and then see if it works properly and even if the problem is not solved then again contact me brother

I did that but I still facing the same problem.
I want to add something; it is restarting by its self also!!

It's a secret menu, when you enter that code, you get a screen to update touchscreen firmware, but it just creates problem and does not update the firmware, even I am facing the same problem, my back button is not working. before touching the firmware update button, the firmware was 0B, but after the update it was 00 and that's when the back button stopped working

My keypad freezes a lot whenever I type.
Baseband version:i9003ddkp4
And the weird thing is, it works fine when it is the General mode, and the keypad freezes in the silent mode.
Any solution for this?

Which keyboard? Is it the default Samsung keyboard? Are other Kb causing the same error?

Samsung's default. Yea, tried using different keyboards too, but same problem.
Tried clearing the cache. Didn't help.
Got really bugged and did a factory reset, still the same.

Try disabling the vibration when the key presses in settings

lol, tried that too.
ok then, try going back to basics and reflash stock up to kpq through odin and you shouldn't have a kb problem anymore (I don't).
that is, unless you want to keep your ddkp4
I've read here that kies screws things up, which is why doing it through odin should fix it.

my fit's power key creates very big problem for me.when i touch this key,my phone restart.somedays my phone restarts 10-15 times a day.what can i do for this key?how can i disable this key???

everything was normal but suddenly my phone reboot and i faced this problem
I think its from the operation system..
if it correct then u should to reset your phone or flashing a new firmware..
correct me if I'm wrong

It happened to m also...jus throw ur phone down on lock key or slightly hit lock key on wall...it will be fine...care centre said to m that its a kinda loose contact so after hitting phone on it is fine...

Lol, I think fit has defected hardware...
My power key has behaved this way twice...solved by dropping the phone...

try flashing some official stock roms...
hope it would remove that problem....
nd there isn't any way to disable power key...

an easy way to get phone boosted without adding any RAM memory..:laugh:
this metode is use internal cache partition which rarely use by the system and big ammount of it.
neither you can use data or system partition to because now its support dual and triple boost at once..:victory:

It's now working by volume up & down button.. Press vol up button & then power button..then you can enter into next window.
It really made my phone very fast.
