Hello guys
I have been facing this since a long time, from the day I updated to gingerbread via kies,
My keypad freezes a lot whenever I type.
Baseband version:i9003ddkp4
And the weird thing is, it works fine when it is the General mode, and the keypad freezes in the silent mode.
Any solution for this?

Which keyboard? Is it the default Samsung keyboard? Are other Kb causing the same error?

Samsung's default. Yea, tried using different keyboards too, but same problem.
Tried clearing the cache. Didn't help.
Got really bugged and did a factory reset, still the same.

Try disabling the vibration when the key presses in settings

lol, tried that too.
ok then, try going back to basics and reflash stock up to kpq through odin and you shouldn't have a kb problem anymore (I don't).
that is, unless you want to keep your ddkp4
I've read here that kies screws things up, which is why doing it through odin should fix it.

I was having the same problem with Samsung KB, now i am using the keyboard from the below link and it's very smooth and fast. try this if you like it.

can anyone point me to a GOOD WORKING SCREEN CAPTURE APP!!! ive tried many and none seems to work :S
i think something is wrong with screen capturing facility in i5801..!! when i was using the bundled JG6 firmware, i had the same problems.. when i flashed with froyo.. i thought may be the problems would now be fixed..!! but,alas..!! but day before yesterday, i found the default screen capturing hotkey.. i was sure the default "press&hold back key+press home key" will definitely work for me..!!! but tough luck..!!!

That's the best idea.
Camera had problems with all previous 2.2 firmwares, but it's fixed now in JPF.

i hav tried to use it b4.. bt i cldnt dwnload the driver fr i5801..!! so cnt sync my android with ddms..!!

I purchased Galaxy I 9003 some 6 months back. Until now it was working perfectly fine. But recently it started getting switched off automatically. Application stops working and a message is flashed that so and so application has stopped working and I have to select the option of "Force close". I have also done the hard reset but thing have not improved.Please somebody help me.
What firmware is your phone on? Have you flashed any firmwares before?

Hmmm Ravi bhai....
Read and understand flashing guides first before taking the plunge into flashing!
So go ahead and flash xxkb3... But use "protection"
And also use search tool on xda....
Check my super info thread also! It will help!

I have the same problem, i'm on XXKPH (Cranium v3.1)
it's switching off when battery status is around 40% and less (when is in idle, not when i'm using it)...
I can bet on this that ravi will do something wrong while flashing...

My samsung galaxy s i9003 which i brought frm muscat-oman in june and now its having a problem of getting switch off again n again, so i have to remove the battery and switch it on again but before it gets switch off it say usb unexpected error then it gets restart , i have given my phone to the normal service center, but itz not working he tryed all the technic of restoring,resetting and hard reset but it did nt work even i tryed to upgrade the software but no use then i he have send it to the samsung service center n frm thr they told me the problem is thr in motherboard (ic) n need to replace the whole board , he was asking 6000 inr rupees bec my phone is nt on international warranty, so can anyone let me knw is thr any other way to solve this issue.

Was same problem... That is Motherboard... Now I waiting for motherboard change in my support center. Forcing close all progs in KC1 KB3 ... if you flash it to 2.3 There will be a pseudo factory reset. There are no any solution, other then PBA motherboard replacement.

i have manage to solve my one problem by roll back my firmware version to 2.2.1 (I9003DXKF1) by that my phone is nt restarting again and again but one issue is still thr which is giving a msg of USB STORAGE UNEXPECTED REMOVER and the application messaging (process com.android.mms) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again
so do anyone knw how should i resolve this problem bec i m nt ready to believe my phone motherboard have some problem n to replace and the price is 4 k

Btw if formatting doesn't fix it, try switching to another firmware (preferably the one which comes pre-installed when u bought the phone)

It is not working properly
sometimes it works but i have to press hard on back button

I'm looking for a rom for S7500L but don't know which one is the most stable. The CyanogenMod 10 seems to have problems with camera and Wifi, which is so annoying to me. I'm thinking about installing Inspiration_Rom_V16, is that the best choice? Pls help me decide..

You have mentioned in your post GTS7500L. Inspiration Rom is for GTS7500. Try Gellybread Rom for GT7500L.

BTW can I have a dumb question? I have to turn off Wifi when not using it 'cause it drains battery very fast, but I wonder what happens if I turn on and off many times... does it affect my phone?

Based on my experience using kk9999gada's Inspiration Rom,
It doesn't affect anything, me myself always turn on and off wifi while on lecture..:silly:
I'm not sure about others, but I'm sure kk9999gada can advice you further,:victory:

BTW I successfully installed Gellybread Rom without any problems, and it's working fine.

wow, it has been almost month eversince your last reply,
anyway, good to know you enjoyed the rom, however, there's certain maintenance you manually need to do,
well, technically, I would advice you to wipe cache and dalvik regularly (per month at least) :silly:
try it, maybe it solve your problem

My Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" P5100 screen stops responding if I didn't touch it for few seconds! I have to press the power button to lock the screen and then press it again to unlock then it will respond, and will stop responding again after few seconds if I didn't touch it!!!!
The device is not modified at all. It has the stock ROM.
Please help me fixing this problem

reboot into recovery and wipe cache partition and then see if it works properly and even if the problem is not solved then again contact me brother
