No Topics
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
Hey all has any one had issues with tapa talk no holding participated info? And also in the unread category. I get "no topics" and it never shows back up as participated topics. Just "no topics" every thing else works browse etc.. I've cleared cache uninstalled the app reinstalled the app.. Nothing even if I use the xda app of play store I still get "no topics" if I click on the threads I have participated on it shows my comments in the thread itself and it allows me to comment but the two categories on the left margin " participated" and " unread" show "no topics". Any ideas? Thanks

So I cleared out a bunch of stored cache using clean master. And app seems to be working. Also solid file explorer found a couple files labeled as tapatalk one under file marked android data and one in the first page of the files listed. #1 uninstalled tapatalk under settings.
#2 used clean master removed junk files.
#3 uninstalled the files in the categories I listed.
#4 rebooted and then I installed tapatalk.. And its working..

i just searched up a restaurant
so it's working
and the site was trying to force my phone to install an app, instead of letting me read the search results quickly
I just updated my host file with Adfree and reboot ed. All seems ok now. Weird.

For the last few days, I have been getting a notification about "new information" or some such. I hit it and it opens the browser and takes me to a spam site, saying I have won an air mac, iphone 4 or ipad 2 which is of course bull****.
I've got lookout (premium) on my phone, but it says no malware on the phone.
So if I could just figure out what program is posting the notice..I would have my culprit.
Rebooting phone doesn't help. Clearing cache, history, form data in browser doesn't help.
Tonight I cleared /cache and davlik-cache. Will have to wait to see if that helps.
The website the browser goes to is com-ws.us/test/.....
Whois shows that to be a new registration (Dec 13th) in the UK via godaddy
I am in the US

Thanks! Got Airpush detector and a few others.
Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk
Nope, none of them caught it. Apparently these products only let you know which apps can do things, but not which did them.
Anyone else have any ideas?

Airpush should let you know what app is set to push notifications.
What is the actual notification you are getting and what icon does it have next to it in the status bar when u see it?
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
If you have adaway then add "api.airpush.com" (without the quotes) to the list of sites to block and then redownload the hosts file. That will take care of airpush spam without having to download anything (who knows what data the airpush "opt out" app tries to collect).

Either a green plus sign in the notification bar or a red star with a red circle in it. The notification text is "You win! an iPad2 is yours!" Or similar.
Airpush detector showed no apps.
When you select the notification' it opens the browser and takes you to a ws-com.us website.

I didn't have adaway, but do now and added that host. Lets see what that does. If nothing else, I may put a network sniffer on here to see what's up.
I've got 90% of the same apps on my Xoom and don't get these notifications.

I've got WinAmp. But had that for a while. I'll get rid of it, see what happens.
Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk
Someone else had this problem and found it to be some live wallpapers that were installed. I doubt it would have been winamp.
FOUND IT. The free version of Bloat Freezer.
I installed a sniffer and it found this:
apikey=airpush&appId=23340&imei=b0ec891afc8c881867d891bc906321e3&token=ec178b3329bab921f52ec46160b1ff29&request_timestamp=Tue+Jan+03+12%3A01%3A09+MST+2012&packageName=com.bloatfreezer.free&version=10&carrier=Verizon+Wireless&networkOperator=Verizon+Wireless&phoneModel=ADR6400L&manufacturer=HTC&longitude=0&latitude=0&sdkversion=4.02&wifi=1&useragent=Mozilla%2F5.0+%28Linux%3B+U%3B+Android+2.3.4%3B+en-us%3B+ADR6400L+Build%2FGRJ22%29+AppleWebKit%2F533.1+%28KHTML%2C+like+Gecko%29+Version%2F4.0+Mobile+Safari%2F533.1&android_id=b7b691711e46ba6b&model=log&action=settexttracking&APIKEY=airpush&event=trayDelivered&campId=14855&creativeId=27768
Funny airpush detector didn't find it AND I got the adfree update to bloat freezer.
That's the end of that app!
Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk
And now I see bloat freezer has been pulled from the market.
Oh well, Titanium freezes stuff just fine.
Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk
I have never used an app to freeze.other apps. If there is an app I don't want, like bloatware or stuff like Facebook, twitter, HTC mail etc., I just use root explorer. Navigate to system/apps and then rename the apk's extension to apkbak. Makes the system not recognize it as an app and therefore never runs, and if I need it again, just remove the bak and its good to go. Has worked for me on every Rom I have had since the OG droid

have you tried looking on market.android.com? It should show you any recent purchases under my account or you can also look under my library too and see if you can find it there too.
this was a free app. how can I see history using the old market app?
ok. I see where you meant. the app is not showing anywhere...sucks

When I start it ti's giving me an error and does nothing. How can I fix that?
Try googling the app name to see if someone has the apk hosted. Usually works for me when the crap market search engine fails to locate apps I've downloaded and used many times in the past.

Ok. So I keep getting this error message when I try to download apps. It doesn't happen to all of them. Weird thing is I can download this app to my transformer with no problems and once it's downloaded to that I can download it on my phone using the my apps section. I'm stock rooted cwm touch recovery. I've cleared market data and wiped cache several times. Any help would be great.

Just clear the data for Google Services Framework.
Seems to work since I've done that and wipe Google play data again and rebooted. Thank you so much

I used to get a similar error back in the android market days. Some gentle google searches led me to believe it has to do with downloading too many apps in a short time period.

Np, had the same problem but it would happen with every download.
Interesting pwhoeler, I wonder if its too many in a short period of time, or too many at the same time (Or both) - may have to play with it.

Had this same issue.
For folks new to this Google Services Framework can be found: Settings>Application Manager>"ALL" Tab">Google Services Framework>Clear Data
Yea. It had nothing to do with downloading to many apps. Once I cleared the Google services data and market data again it was fine after aafter a reboot

Am I going effing crazy or what? I can't add hardly anything to my wish list anymore. For over a week now.. It is getting quite irritating as I love that feature. I am always adding stuff to my wish list. Its an awesome bookmarking utility whether it was intended as one or not.
I can maybe add one or two things to the list a day, and when I do they are pretty much only paid apps.
That is exactly how Apples appstore works. You can only add paid applications to your wish list.
If they are planning to change that to only paid apps I'm not gonna be happy. That would be very counterproductive.
Sure you could just install it real quick if its paid, but I don't need apps I don't need right this minute wasting space and other resources. And also I will find a good app for my tablet while browsing on my mobile. So I will add to wish list then download on my tablet.
Every time I try to add something it simply says 'could not add "some app" to wish list'. Am I the only one having this problem because I don't see anyone else complaining about it anywhere. Nor even a section to contact Google plays support team about it.

I apologize. Your reply went unnoticed till now. But I just tried it. First I tried adding to wish list an application on the Google Play Store app on my Nexus 5, it gave the usual 'could not add appName to wishlist'. I then opened the link by sharing to my browser and sure enough it said 'An error occurred, please try again later.'
So unfortunately looks like its happening on both. So am I alone here? Are others able to add free applications to their wish list still? Are you able to Lesalloum? If so must be an issue on my account. But this is the only issue I am having.

No I don't believe so. I can look in titanium backup and see if there is any by that name. Is it a user or system app? Can't find it on store.

Its a user app that messes with google play.
It was a blind guess though..
I'd try a factory reset if I were you

Me Too!
I am also having this issue. It is not a software issue, it is an account issue. I have two google accounts on my phone, and online. When I switch to the second account, on both the website and the Play Store in the phone, I can add to its wishlist just fine. But I am unable to add things to the wishlist with my primary account.
When I tap the bookmark icon on my phone, the little "Adding to wishlist..." message pops up, but is replaced by one that says "AppName could not be added to wishlist". When I go on the website and click the add to wishlist button, it says "An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later." I hadn't added things to my wishlist for a while before today, but it's a pretty annoying issue.
It appears that I can install from the phone and remotely via the website as normal.
Problem solved (for me, anyways)
Well, after a lengthy back and forth and escalation to a higher support person and engineers, it turns out that they issue is the fact that the Google Play wishlist has an item limit!!!! There was no notification of this anywhere, and the error messages gave no indication that this was the case. I'm able to remove items and add new ones, but I'm pretty annoyed that this is even an issue, and that the error message don't say what the issue is, since Google Play knows exactly what the problem is.
I've attached screenshots of the error messages I received. After learning that there is an item limit, I tried removing an app. I was able to remove it, and re-add it. I then removed it, added another app, and was unable to re-add the first app.
Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.
how many?

I am already at my limit because it keeps happening for more than a week now. It started happening a little after a playstore update so I thought that this might be the issue. Cleared data and uninstalled updates but it kept happening so it really must be a limit.
I can check how many apps I have added... Is there a count or should I go and count them on my own?

lol, yeah you need to count them!! But the quick way to count...
I can see there are 3 rows of apps on my mobile's screen. I just counted every 3rd rows while I scrolled down. It is 51.
51 x 9 apps = 459 apps plus 7 apps on last (52th) page.
Let me know! Cheers

Yeah, I have the same limit. I went through my wishlist though and removed a bunch of apps which I might have installed or tried and rejected, so I have a bunch of space to save apps again ^_^
