My recommendation is to go to the sticky at the top of this forum and read the post by mskip..."Flashing Your First Kaiser Rom (For Noobs) <-- A must read if you are new to this"
This is what helped me get thru my first flashing. It will help you as well.
The one thing about flashing to 6.5 and you will check for flashing instruction by the chef for his particular ROM, but typically you may have to flash a Stock ROM before flashing a Cooked ROM.

Well there is no as such a guide to download WM6.5 ROM and install it. It is pretty much the same way for WM6.0, WM6.1 & WM6.5. Just read carefuly before you flash.

does it matter if its running 1.6. I rooted my hero, but this seems to be diff that link just explains but doesnt tell me how to do it
I think you have to put 1.5 on it in order to root w/ apk
just follow the guides on the wiki i linked you. if you have a mytouch you have a 32B so follow the guide for 32B.. easy peasy....

what exactly do you mean with "walktrough" ? reverendkjr made a video installation guide for dexter´s froyo - it´s pinned to the stickies in the development forum
Wat i meant is a video which show the changes between the original rom compared to the froyo rom.for example showing the adobe flash capabilities,how fast the browser work. How fast is the transition between which homescreen etc. Not a installation guide which i already know there is one.
