Ok have just come across my first bug/issue with stock browser, not sure if this is just my current setup so if anyone else can confirm this.
If I have multi-able tabs open then go to open a already saved bookmark in a new tab or current tab - all other open tabs close
If I go to save a new bookmark (weather I have multi-able tabs open or just one) they all close and it go's back to home page (google) - the bookmark is saved though.
My current setup
Clean install full wipe - all partitions including internal storage
Wipe dalvik and cache
Normal CROMBi-kk
_that's v8 kernel
Disable data journaling
Launcher trebuchet
160dpi
Disable fsync
Zip align
GPU Rendering 1 & 2
Changed settings fine, advanced power menu, root (adb and apps) and set the windows animations to 0.5x
Switched to use ART
Performance Profile Balanced, CPU Interactive, I/O row

What is the significance of the M in CROMBi vs CROMI? Just curious. Can't wait to try this out when I get back from vacation.

Dock works but some special keys don't. There are a few niggly bugs as well.

Have a look which forum you are in? Lol.

Yes, but also on me301?

I am on CROMi-X 5.4 on my TF201 atm with AndroWook BL + TWRP 2.5.0.0 and i want to flash this ROM. But we need TWRP 2.7.0.0 now it seems! So how do I flash this rom on my TF201?

I assume you already have a recovery installed. Here I have a zip file which you can flash to revert to TWRP 2.7.0.0

Can't attach, contact to server lost, so here's a link.
Updated link to google drive

looks like your twrp 2.7 link is down, as this rom runs very well on the tf201 (prime) it might be an idea to start a thread or link to the prime dev forum as well

Actually Philz Touch 6 (Based on CWM 6.0.4.6) Recovery also works well. I used it throughout testing and have stayed with it.

I think Mirror 1 on the dev thread isn't working. It's a dead link.
Also wondering what you meant by fixing the grimlock kernel so the right modules install. Does the grimlock kernel include the wrong modules?
Oh and by the way, flashing the ME301 compatibility pack will likely make this rom work on the ME301 but of course I can't test it. Maybe if ME301 users try it out and confirm it works sbdags can slap those files directly into this rom

But on androwook, he says that you can't update to another twrp version so is it safe?

Having trouble acquiring root privileges for TIBU, and it appears there is no root app installed?
Downloaded Super SU and when I go to update binary (Normal) mode, it ends up failing and says reboot and try again which I've done a couple times to no avail?
Update: Nevermind, I'm a dumbass. Didn't completely read ROM instructions:
BIG RED WARNING ABOUT PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY ARE MISSING ROOT!
You are not. The way CM11 works is root is not enabled by default after a clean install. Here is how you enable it.
1. Enable developer options by clicking the build number 7 times in settings - about tablet
2. Go to developer settings
3. In the first section click Root access and change to Apps and ADB
Enjoy your rooted rom

So, are the nightly builds the same ROM, just the more stable builds go in here? Or are they two separate and different ROMs entirely?

They are the same rom, however these are the stable releases.
We use two different threads so that there is no confusion over which build everyone is on.

There is no changelog, because there was no release for this device before 2.0.0
Roach is still your device specific developer, however there is a reason why it's "Team Eos".
Thanks,

Sorry but on TeamEOS Rom's Nightly and now on AOSP I installed always AsusKeybord.zip and work very well. I prefer and like it on my TF.
Is this simply nightly 29?

Can you please clarify what you mean. The OP asked if asus keyboard was supported, are we talking about the dock here, or software keyboard?

What's the GPS like? As good as HC, or still needs work?
Thanks.
This looks nice and clean. I might give it a try.
Will I encounter any problem if I restore my apps using Titanium Backup (including the Asus ones) from HC (Roach's Prime!) on this ICS ROM? (I will be making a nandroid as well as a full wipe prior to flashing)
Thanks!
been using it all morning and it's great, but the one feature that all these roms seem to not have is rotation animation without the second of black screen... I know that's petty, but it just drives me nuts.

PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT.
This is not just build.prop dpi mods! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.
Tablet Mode
Phablet Mode
PER-APP-COLOR,
ParanoidAndroid's newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

You need to go into settings to get the Nav bar to appear. I used the early release of this last week. Not sure why they do not auto include the Nav bar on install, but it is there. I promise. Just start digging around.

From a clean install (factory reset, etc.) you SHOULD have the nav bar show up. If not, you can enable by selecting the "System > Navigation bar > Software buttons" checkbox.

Welcome to CMB Roms- CM done Better... Dark Themed for his/her Pleasure
Why CMB?
We are just better , in a nutshell we set out to give you the best of CM, with none of the annoying features (see list below), all this wrapped in a custom black theme. We used the KISS principal when deciding what to offer, we based our frameworks on CM alone (not FrankenFrameworks like some others out there), enabling us to provide updates and bug fixes as soon as CM does. This doesn't mean we are only relying on them for development, it just eases merging.
Features
Based on Android 4.4.2_M2, CM11.0
All current features CM11.0
Customized Dark Holo Theme With Gray ActionBars
Dark Mms
Dark Calendar
Dark Contacts
Ramdisk security tweaks, you can adb as root now!
Bash "tab to complete"
Remount helper, in adb shell
Old
Code:
mount -o rw,remount /system
New
Code:
remount /system
Better Right??
We plan to add more features, suggestions are welcome (but sometimes ignored )

This change fixed the youtube issue.
Awesome news thanks for doing this. One quick question, what if anything does CMB do under hood (not cosmetic/UI stuff) to CM base?
CMB 4.3 ran really well on my tablet, I am running CM 11 and it is a bit slugglish. I am going to try the CMB KitKat here soon but curious if it was a different kernel (the Ramdisk tweaks?) etc. that lead to a better running rom?

I am working on getting a change log made for just that!! Like most AOSP/CM based roms, the differences are going to be minimal, right off the bat. If you look at the size of the roms there is about a 4 MB size difference, ours being the smaller of the two.. Thx for your question. I will keep you posted on a change log once we get some of these small bugs out the way... Thx as always lj

Any reason why this ROM only utilizes 2 of the 4 cores?

In case anyone wants to try it ... in the download section of this ROM you'll also find an unofficial pre-release of TWRP 2.7 compiled by me (2.6.3-that3) that supports both JB and KK ZIPs. I can't say anything about its quality, but the devs of this ROM have tested it. The GUI is much more fluid than in earlier versions.
Note: lj said that formatting data with this recovery takes a very long time (in the order of 1-2 hours) - be patient. It is not only formatting your data, it also trims unused blocks afterwards, and you know our internal storage is not the fastest... but the advantage is that in normal use it will then find enough empty flash blocks so writes will be faster.

Wow! I have been on CM11 official nightlies, having gone from CROMi-5.2 and I am very pleased to see this and look forward to downloading and installing this when I get home in about 45 mins.
well, I formatted data. installed the ROM. installed the gapps zip.
when I reboot to system, I see the 4 penguins. then, it reboots back into TWRP 2.6.3.1.
I did check the MD5 on both files before I started.
gonna try again...

Multiwindow allows you to split the screen in 2 vertically (while in landscape) or horizontally, you can switch an app back and forth between multiwindow mode and regular mode while it's running.
MultiWindow
NavBar:
- To switch between full screen and split View you can use the
NavBar Button
(It will lay apps alternatively in one SplitView spot then the other.)
- To change focus simply Tap on the app or use the
NavBar Button
That button can also be used in non multiwindow mode to switch quickly between the 2 most recent apps.
Global Actions
Actions to switch the app between fullscreen / splitview, switch between the 2 most recent apps and to force the splitview slot have been added
so you can bind them to a key / key combination with the Global KeyOverride or long press on navbar button too.
Note: Most apps works ok in splitview mode, but some of them might not refresh correctly sometime.
Same when rotating the screen while in splitview mode.
To force a refresh simply tap the app or if you have 2 apps in split, just click twice on the switch to last app button:
to force it to relayout

This is normally because the kernel and rom are set up for the TF300. If I flash any TF300 rom on the TF700 this is what happens.
OP what have you done to port it to the 700? Does it work on yours? What kernel are you using?

Thank you. I know that the ZOMBI team made some minor changes after -that11, so I wanted to know if you're using them.
If you're using my unmodified zImage, you don't need to do anything else.
You should change the download in the OP to the one from this thread instead. You're essentially letting people download the tf201 version which obviously won't work on it's own
I will update this post on my impressions on my (possibly broken) tf700t
