Yay first post
I'd like to use this opportunity to thank the awesome devs at Team EOS.

So, are the nightly builds the same ROM, just the more stable builds go in here? Or are they two separate and different ROMs entirely?

They are the same rom, however these are the stable releases.
We use two different threads so that there is no confusion over which build everyone is on.

Is this kernel based on Asus stock kernel?

where is the changelog and is roach still the DEV for this rom

There is no changelog, because there was no release for this device before 2.0.0
Roach is still your device specific developer, however there is a reason why it's "Team Eos".
Thanks,

Thank you for your job, that's a great Build, fast and smooth, solid and stable...with just as many features as needed, not too much...!

Asus Keyboard
Very interesting!
Is Asus keyboard supported?

Is there any sudden reboot issue !!

There are no Asus apk's in the build and any you add manually wouldn't be supported by us.

Sounds fine, but are USB to Ethernet and 3G Dongle supported ? ^^

USB to Ethernet works with certain devices but there is no 3G support included with the tf101 build.
Then can we install all ASUS stuffs on this ROM ?

Asus Keyboard
Installed this AOSP version.
Sorry but on TeamEOS Rom's Nightly and now on AOSP I installed always AsusKeybord.zip and work very well. I prefer and like it on my TF.

Is this simply nightly 29?

Can you please clarify what you mean. The OP asked if asus keyboard was supported, are we talking about the dock here, or software keyboard?

What's the GPS like? As good as HC, or still needs work?
Thanks.

This looks nice and clean. I might give it a try.
Will I encounter any problem if I restore my apps using Titanium Backup (including the Asus ones) from HC (Roach's Prime!) on this ICS ROM? (I will be making a nandroid as well as a full wipe prior to flashing)
Thanks!

been using it all morning and it's great, but the one feature that all these roms seem to not have is rotation animation without the second of black screen... I know that's petty, but it just drives me nuts.

Reboot menu options don't work properly
Selecting storage in settings causes crash
To add removable media you must manually create the folder in Removable and reinsert your device. i.e MicroSD / USBDisk1 / USBDisk2 / SDCard

Thanks for this pure ICS Rom Team Eos.
It works, i like it, and not have mixture HC/ICS like that based on Asus Rom's.
I wait for a good working of storage for to be a daily rom.
For now I made this:
Opened a terminal emulator app:
su
mkdir /Removable/MicroSD
mkdir /Removable/SD (keyboard)
mkdir /Removable/USBdisk1
mkdir /Removable/USBdisk2
Work well until next reboot
I wait the fix.
Thanks
EDIT: Good, the Camera photo and video work very well!!!

Kernels
The same custom kernel used in AOKP ROMs now available to use in all AOSP based ROMs. (AOKP, CM10, ParanoidAndroid) Will not work with stock Touchwiz based ROMs!!
These use the anykernel flash method so it creates a new boot.img on the fly. It will not interfere with any customizations that may be in your current boot.img's ramdisk.

Among the many updates and fixes in Build-4 we have a new kernel. Keeping the trend alive we have yet another first for our Tablets. Voltage Control!! You can use Performance Settings in ROM Control to set voltages, SetCPU and a few other apps available on the market work as well. NOTE don't set any voltages at boot until you are once again 1000% sure your device is stable. It's pretty safe to UV 1GHz and below, just use small 25mv steps to begin with. 1.2GHz is close on most devices, speeds above that I wouldn't mess with too much. Remember all devices are different, so there aren't any magic voltages that will make you want to throw away your charger. Use common sense and have fun tinkering.
New kernel AOKP_p51xx_1-52GHz_v2-2.zip posted.
9/21/2012
I've built and uploaded a new kernel that includes a few more OC options. Configured now are 1.2GHz, 1.35GHz, 1.42GHz, 1.48GHz, and 1.52GHz. There have been a few other tweaks made that all add up to FAST. Remember your device may not be able to handle the same speeds as someone else's. Don't cry or feel bad, it's just the hardware luck of the draw. Just like people, there are some freaks out there. The new kernels have 1-52GHz in the file name. Now go forth and flash!!
9/17/2012
New Another overclock option!
New Semi-Nightly Sept. 16/17 builds now include a 1.42GHz step. Kernel still safe boots to 1.2GHz and you can use built-in Performance settings or SetCPU to OC. I wouldn't recommend using "set at boot" until you're 1000% sure your device is stable at 1.42GHz.
Working Samsung keyboard dock
While not all the special keys work it's a start
On the fly GPU Overclocking
Another first for our tabs! Based on imoseyon's Tuna kernel work. To change speeds simply edit /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/gpu_oc. Values are as follows: 0 = 307MHz 1 = 384MHz 2 = 512MHZ
On top of the built in 1.2GHz overclock my tab runs really well at 512MHz. Be mindful the higher GPU freqs will cause an increase in heat production. The values will revert back to 0 (307MHz) on boot. So if you find your tab locked up or acting odd at a higher clock speed just reboot it. On the other side of that you'll need to change the value every time you boot the tablet.
Some nenamark2 scores to illustrate the GPU overclock....
Value 0 = 307MHz
Value 1 = 384MHz
Value 2 = 512MHz
Thanks everyone for following my AOKP thread. Its now time to pass it on..

Works really nice on 5110! Just wanna say thanks for the work & share.
It´s very very smooth and as compared to 4.0.3/4.0.4 Stock i think its like WARP 7
Just one Question: Is there any Way to change Fahrenheit to Celsius in Lockscreen-Weather?
On Homescreen i got Celsius working after changing it in settings... but Lockscreen still points F...

It just has to update. Default is 60 minutes, you can click "get weather" in the top right of weather settings in ROM Control to force it to happen. That will update the lockscreen to show C instead of F.

Hi,
My Tablet disconnects WiFi all 20 Minutes.
I use it for listening to Webradio via a app. So i start the app, hit play and put the Tablet in Standby.
Exactly after 20 Minutes it stops playing. After unlocking i see the notification "no internet connection" in statusbar. It automatically reconnects to Wifi then, and i can hear music for 20 Minutes again. I havent that syndrome with stock ROM. (Same App, same Accesspoint).
Any Ideas how to fix that?
regards!
PS: Everything is working fine when power adapter is connected.

PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT.
This is not just build.prop dpi mods! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.
Tablet Mode
Phablet Mode
PER-APP-COLOR,
ParanoidAndroid's newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

New maintainer? The code on GitHub looks like it hasn't been updated in at least five months for the tf101.
Your GAPPS link is broken. Here's the Formula84 GAPPS.
*edit*
It's only the second on that's broken. You RaymanFX recovery link is broken too though. The link in my signature goes where you want though.
This is just linking to a nightly?

If it is, it'll be the third one. The previous two compile RaymanFX's changes into the cyanogen nightly line to (essentially) update his work with cyanogen's newer work. Why wouldn't you just release CM10 as is? Well, it turns out the 'official' CM10 for the TF101 is broken - it's outdated and slow, and flat out doesn't work very well. It's the reason RaymanFX has been working so hard. He's had to rebuild the cyanogen source files and update a lot to make sure it runs as well as it does. He's currently trying to 'fix' 4.2.0 which is just busted right out of the gate from Google so hats off to you Chris!
Is his work perfect? It turns out that no, it isn't. His kernel is super fast, but there's an issue with the wireless (driver?). timduru has stepped in with his own kernel that supports RaymanFX's 4.1.2 CM and together they're pretty close to perfect. timduru's kernel is almost as fast, but has an excellent wi-fi connection.
RaymanFX is also very busy working on a half dozen projects so after his initial releases, and a point upgrade or two, they tend to fall by the way-side. This is where gierdo comes into play, compiling the v6 into the 'official' nightlies once a week or so.
So.. layer upon layer, currently there are three guys taking cyanogen's work and improving it to the point where I can walk into the Apple Store while my wife's off checking out makeup at Sephora and play with their iPads and think to myself.. "this thing is kind of laggy".
lecongdon - I'm not trying to crap on your doorstep with this post, and anyone who's got the time to make the TF101 a better tablet is awesome in my eyes. This tablet isn't super high on the list as far as 'official' cyanogen releases goes and it's got a few quirks that the main line doesn't address. I'd personally love to be able to just hit that cyanogen update button and sit back and watch the magic happen, but to make this tablet sing there's a bit of work involved from several difference sources and that involves a few unofficial ideas.
Everything looks solid stable for now, thank you for the ROM.
However I have a little question which I couldnt find answer for. Having the Rayman's CM10 B6 my TF lost the ability to connect to the PC when I plug the cable - it has the "charging" text and the icon, but there is no Windows reaction to the connected TF (no USB plug sound, and it doesn't appear to be connected at all).
The same happens with this ROM and on all the PCs I've tried. Any piece of advice?
Thanks in advance
This seems to run really well with the latest kat kernel. That combo has the best wifi I've had on any rom. Cfq and interactive is the only cpu combo I've gotten good YouTube playback with. It runs as well or better than any other rom I've tried, though I've only been running it a few hours.

Does the screen turn off when the lid is shut when docked? Is the GPS (not network location) work? These were the two biggest show stopping CM bugs that have never been fixed. If there haven't been any tf101 commits in 5 months I'm guessing- no.

'KAT kernel 55d lid patch' fixes that I think
I'm coming late to this party - only got around to rooting my tf101 a few days ago.
Anyhow, installed this this morning (after installing RaymondFX's CM10 v6 yesterday) and in both cases couldn't connect my bluetooth stereo/mono headset. I'm seeing a few references around to installing different kernels - any chance someone could pass me a clue?
official maintainer
Question: who is the official maintainer of the tf101 device in CM10 ? There are several unofficial roms and kernels that try to better the CM10 official source by fixing the obvious problems (lid behaviour, kernel,...). Wouldn't it be great if all these could be included in CM10 proper ? After all android and CM in particular is all about collaboration, so why not embrace it, stop the duplication of work, and make everyone's life easier ?
Thanks all,

It would be nice to see some cohesion and all the improvements to CM on XDA pulled into CM proper.

Hello, this rom work with sl101 ???
Where can you get darkside superwipe for the tf101?
Is this 'official' release any better than the unofficial RaymanFX release? My TF101 is stable now, not sure if I want to through the full (super)wipe and flash process.
For me this rom with the latest kat kernel has been working a lot better than any other rom, and I've tried almost every ics and jb rom. It runs smoother and gets better wifi (including Revolver, EOS JB, RaymanFX's roms etc). The only bug I've noticed is that the lid patch doesn't seem to work. Overall, I highly recommend this rom.
Also, I didn't use a superwipe script and it installed fine using TWRP.

It really seems like there's some pent up aggression towards Official CMmod (probably due to lack of support until now). If this rom was some random dude posting another unoffical roms everyone would be welcoming him and thanking him for the development. I bet the negativity is coming from people that haven't even tried the rom.
Anyway, thanks a lot to the developers. Please keep up the good work!

TF101 Specific
Basic dock functionality works, but special keys and dock battery not currently (and may never be) supported
My goal was to get a working build of RootBox for my TF101, since I use it on my other devices. Now that the environment is up and running, I decided to make it available to others
I will attempt to build and publish the nightlies on a regular basis, but be aware that I don't necessarily flash all of them myself. Use at your own risk

Cool one of my favorite Roms. Now I just need to figure out how to set up a build environment and try to build LiquidSmooth and we would have a nice set of Roms. Last time I tried to get it set up it failed at the same place and no matter what I did I could not get everything loaded. Not that I have any experience doing such things.
So, thanks for a cool ROM.

Thanks for porting Bajee's fine creation!
I already have RB in my beloved Note, now it's time to have it on my Transformer too!.... will flash and report as soon as I can... cheers! :highfive:
so....... to make it clear: the dock's special keys are not working and the dock's battery isn't working (not being recognized) too and never will?...... the dock's battery issue it's kind of a little drawback here, will give it a shot anyways...

Yes, unfortunately I was not able to get full support for the dock working. While it is not my intention to leave it broken, I cannot promise that I will ever figure it out.
My plan is to get the 4.3 builds working, once Bajee releases them, and then switch focus to fixing the dock. I hope to learn what I can from the other developers on this device, who were able to get the dock working in their ROMs, and apply it here.

I'm sure @timduru and @teameos can give you some valuable advice to get it working, they are some of the top notch devs here (and always very helpful members BTW) when it comes to the Transformer

v4.3 will be indeed a great build but once it has been well debugged by Bajee and it will take some time to achieve that for now, myself (and I'm sure many others) still prefer to have an v4.2.2 stable and perfected to have a good working base on the tf101, so my feeling is that v4.2 is the way to go hopefully fixing the dock battery :fingers-crossed: , BTW, does the GPS locks fine?...
Thanks for your commitment on this project @aerdman and to share it with all of us! :good:
I am trying this now. Welcome!

You didn't install gapps? You have to have gapps in order for everything to function properly.

Yea you're right, I'm getting this as well. I will make a note of this and investigate along with the dock support.
Camera relies on gallery (for stuff like photosphere)
Not surprised it isn't working without GAPPS.
