[Q] HTC ONE X : unable to copy New os on Mobile - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
I tried to install CM on My HTC ONE X but some how my phone end up dead bcz CM release was wrong It was of HTC ONE.
Now My phone is not getting started. and zip file present in my phone is not of HTC ONE X, due to which i am not able to install it.
Now i want ti install STOCK os again.
But :
1. ADB is not working due to which i can not use adb to copy the file in the Mobile and then install from ZIP option.
2. Not able to mount USB through CWM Recovery.
3. In TWRP touch is not working.
so my ultimate goal is to copy new OS zip file in to my phone and use install from zip option, how can i do it ? any idea ?? other than above mentioned options?

[Q] HTC Desire S is wiped and without clockworkmod [SOLVED]

Hi, i received HTC sense 3.0 and android 2.3.5 update. I tried to update it but it stuck on boot screen. Restarting didn't help. So I wiped all the data but later realised I no longer have clockworkmod installed.
I go to hboot and try to put recovery on sdcard through adb, but adb cant find my device.
Is there anything I can do? My phone is pretty messed up now, and I don't know what to do RUU also doesn't work, because my phone can't be found.
// #1 OK I managed to install clockworkmod through the Android Flasher. I've downloaded BeatMod BlissSense Hybrid v2.1.zip but I cant install it through the clockworkmod. It says:
"E:Error in /sdcard/BeatMod BlissSense Hybrid v2.1.zip
(Status 1)
Installation aborted."
// #2 sorry to bother.. I disabled the verification check in clockworkmod, installed su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip and then custom ROM.. everything now works fine. Of course with the help of tutorials on xda and great people over here.
This was the worst 4 hours in my live as I thought my phone is bricked.

You don't appear alone with problem, so thanks for re-editing the thread post to provide updates, if you have the time and could try to add any URLs and links to the files that you used to resolve your issues, then that would be great!
I've already several threads where it appears the update has put others in the same position, so your update could prove to be a useful resource assisting the recovery of others!
Cheers.

ROM (I used this): http://dev-host.org/80uvbx4wgf4l/BeatMod_BlissSense_Hybrid_v2.1.zip
----
Install ClockworkMod:
What you need to do is get the phone to fastboot and connect it to the PC via USB.
Launch and update Android Flasher. Choose your phone and browse for recovery image (recovery.img that you have unzipped)
Click finish and wait. Clockworkmod should by installed.
Get files on the phone:
Go to recovery
Mounts and storage menu
Mount USB storage
Then copy files (custom ROM you want to install and su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip) from PC to SD card
Install Root:
Go to recovery
Install zip from SD card
Toogle signature verification (disable it)
Choose zip from card and install su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip
Choose zip from card and install custom ROM
Optional steps? (right after installing clockworkmod)
Go to recovery
Wipe data
Go to advanced
Mounts and Storage menu
Format /sdcard
That's it. Hope it helps.

Problem Installing Android Revolution - Need Usb Access

Hi,
I was trying to update the Android Revolution HD ROM (I had it already installed).
I did the super wipe first, but when I tried to install the rom file, the recovery says it is bad (verification failed).
So right now I have no rom installed so I need access to the memory so I can send the new rom file to the tablet.
My recovery version in roach-tf101-r2 v5.5.0.4 and I could not find an option to access the files on my pc.
Can anyone help me right now? Thank you
you need to connect via ADB then push the rom file to your sdcard

Do you have the Stock ROM for GB 2.3.6 (SkyRocket) which i can flash using TWRP? My PC doesn't recognize my Skyrocket. The only way for me is to flash using TWRP but I can't find the GB ROM for it. There's a lot of ROM of GB but it is for ODIN (with extension .tar.md5) instead.

Hi, could you help me i have TWRP Custom recovery and cm12.1 android lollipop, i want to
Flash Stock Rom Android Marshmallow using TWRP is it possible using this method ,
my Device is Galaxy Tab S 8.4 wi-fi.
invalid zip
I am a mac user without access to a PC (no odin). I have TWRP recovery installed. I used android file transfer to move the stock firmware zip in the download section to the internal SD (root folder). I wiped the system and cache, then install zip - but it fails every time with "invalid zip file format". I have tried a half dozen other versions of the stock ROM from various sources and they all fail with the same error. ZIP signature verification is disabled. Just when I thought that i was doing something completely dumb and not flashing correctly at all - I tried re-flashing the lineageOS ROM i have and that worked fine. I've read a bit about unpacking and re-zipping these zips to get them to work, but that requires 7zip (which I don't have on mac). Help! am I doing something dumb or do I not have the correct zip files? I really need to get back to stock so I can activate my cellular service.

[Resolved] How to install Mi-pop

Its simple
All you need to do is to flash some files and then you will have Mi- Pop
1# Download zip file(links are in a txt file which is in folder as zip )
2# And flash the zip that you will get
Reboot and done
If you don't have a flash image get this (its in a txt file in folder as zip) lewa recovery image for nokia x (recommended for nokia xl) and flash it with rasher or any other to whom you trust and after flashing the image it will reboot and lewa recovery will start. Then chose install , then chose zip file that you downloaded earlier wait for to finish and then reboot.
FaQ
Did i built any of these files?
Ans: no
All these files belong to you?
Ans: Not a single one
Who's files are these?
And: These files belongs to Dom (thnks)
Have you test it on some device?
Ans: Yes. On my nokia xl working perfectly.
Why nokia x flash image ?
And: Because i did it with it. But i prefer chose cmw recovery image specific for your mobile
And do it on your own risk. I am not responsible for any kind of demage.
Was it helpfull click thnksss and remember me in your prayers and its my first theat so there can be mistakes so help me to learn more and links are in txt because i am under 10 posts. Thats why i have to zip it

I can't access my phone via USB and my ROM won't install.

So basically, I was using a ROM but I decided to try a newer version of Cyanogen.
I transferred it to my phone, booted into clockworkmod, wiped my phone and went to install the new software. It won't install for some reason - and now I can't get my phone to mount USB so I can add a different ROM zip file.
What can I do?
By the way, I'm using a 1st Generation Moto-G.
Thanks.
It is possible to use ADB to transfer the ROM zip or sideload it.
