As we know On N9005 (qualcomm) IMEI number no more stored on EFS partition so no meaning to make backup of only efs.img
Thanks to @lyriquidperfection for information about IMEI stored on ModemST1 and ModemST2 partition, basis on this information here is simple tool to make backup of complete IMEI (efs.img.ext4 + nvrebuild1.bin and nvrebuild2.bin)
As we know sometimes we do have multiple device and multiple backup and that making us confuse which backup is for which device, also it difficult to guess when exactly we made particular backup. to overcome all these issue I have made some change in script and new version will make backup in folder name MyEFS_MM-dd-yyyy_hh.mm_Device model So you can keep multiple backup.
Also it will copy build prop file along with backup, so that will give complete information about your ROM when you made backup.
If everything work as per described then next version will be final with restore script.
- To backup long press EFS backup option icon, it will backup all three required partition like efs.img.ext4,nvrebuild1.bin and nvrebuild2.bin. Also you will find build.prop file, which is just to get information about ROM when backup was created.
- To restore simply copy all three backup files efs.img.ext4, nvrebuild1.bin and nvrebuild2.bin to root directory of Int SD card and then long press Restore option icon.

You are asking for other's EFS backup?
If yes, No. No one will share with you. Every device have unique value and sharing with other's and restoring on other's device, both device may get network block by operator. You needs to make your own before you lose it. Not only that, it is illegal too.

Nice tool, restored my nvram.tar, no more baseband unknown, thanks again.
nice tool concept. is this only saving files to /sdcard/? because on newer devices with emulated storage, sdcard or microsd is mounted as sdcard1, so when doing backup on my phone it goes back instantly on backup/restore/exit menu
thanks.

nah, its fine now. turns out to be that my /data partition is encrypted, thats why custom recovery is not mounting it. also just need some work on recovery to mount sdcard on /sdcard

Yo doc, may I know why it needs the permission to disable my lock screen, prevent the phone from sleep and also full network access?
Yeah it was there in template, will remove in next version. btw you need not to keep installed this application if you are worried about current permission, simply make backup and uninstall.
Actually these permissions for there for adding ad but later I decided not to include ad. So don't worry about permission.
Edit : I have recheck it and permission for wake device and unlock screen is due to Toast notification you are getting at end of backup/Restore.
Network permission because I have used html popup menu (When touching Backup/restore menu text it pop up detail) because I can add any link if needed. So permissions are required,
It worked for me dr ketan. Is this (pls see screenshot) the final version?

Description:
This tool gives you an ability to make a backup of your phone to your PC using the latest TWRP 3.1.0 Recovery. This is a simple handy tool if you want to make a backup of your phone to your PC and you don't want to deal with ADB commands.
Features:
1. Complete Backup
2. Partition specific backup (system, boot etc.)
3. Backup option from phone's GUI
4. Full restore
5. Boot into recovery
6. System reboot
NOTE:
1. Only works with TWRP v3.1.0+
2. I can't provide support for issues related to TWRP. This is just a simple tool to save you some typing, most of the work is done by TWRP itself.
3. TWRP 3.1.0 still has some bugs and it may fail to do backup/restore on some devices
Download & Instructions
For Windows:
TWRP Backup Tool v1.1
Mirror
For Mac:
TWRP Backup Tool For Mac
For Linux:
TWRP Backup Tool For Linux
How to use the tool for Mac & Linux?
Extract the folder in the zip on your desktop.
Open up the terminal. Type "cd " (with space).
Drag and drop the folder to the terminal. Press Enter.
Now Drap and drop the TWRP Backup Tool file to the terminal. Press Enter.
Please do not copy the download links outside this forum. You can link to my website's download page or to this thread.
FAQ:
1. AdbWinApi.dll not found
You need to install ADB drivers on your computer.
2."Now unlock your device and confirm the backup operation..."
This message is generated by TWRP and not by my tool. I am guessing it means check your phone for the backup process.
3. Virus Total Result: HERE!

When I try to make a backup, after I reboot into recovery, it tells me to unlock my phone and check to see if the backup operation has worked. My phone isn't locked, it's on the TWRP home screen. Also, it seems that the backed up files will be stored on my phone, not my PC. How is that better than just making a backup with TWRP?

Do a quick check by go into your Root browser and look in these locations.
/storage/emulated
/data/system/
data/system_ce/
data/system_de/
data/misc/
data/misc_ce/
data/misc_de/
data/user/
data/user_ce/
data/user_de/
If you see any folder named 999 then you have parallel apps enabled on your device. TWRP in it's current form will not allow you to create a backup or restore a backup with parallel apps enabled.
Currently there is only one solution that I have found to be able to delete all of the 999 folders and that is to open a terminal emulator to each of these locations and remove the 999 folders individually. I have found a solution where you can delete the user ID and by doing so it removes all of the 999 folders and not only does it remove the folders they do not return once you reboot your device.
hi, thank You for answer and suggestion, unfortunately i just searched manually and with search in yotalcmd, and cant find any 999 folder.. huh?
how do i delete user id?
i have this lines from /twrp/backup/recovery.log
maybe it helps to figure a problem?

Do you have multiple account apps?
I am sorry but I'm not sure what does that exactly mean, multiple account apps?
U know one app 2 accounts in that.
Dual apps etc
What are you backing up?
For a complete backup i dont think all partitions need to be selected lol
Only maybe
/system
/storage
Idk etc
just managed to make only /system backup. not sure what exactly is only system, its not a full rom backup? huh
is there any way to make flashable full rom backup at all?
also twrp gave me mesage cannot decrypt users.. heh??
It is your rom backup LMAO
Dont backup everything.
Nothing has space for your full phone.
You should disable.force encryption for that error to stop.
wow I didn't realise that that this is actually my full backup. So that means if I wipe phone now and flash this from twrp I will have all apps and everything again?
Also, please where and how can I force encryption stop?
Thank You so much for all help!
Backup /system /data /storage
Then u will have all apps and stuff.
just tryed it, on /data it interrupts and gives again error 255.. huh.
also please how to disable encryption?
also, is there any other way to make full rom backup except from twrp since this isnt working for me??

Swift Backup can backup your important data in minutes! Its quick, efficient and boasts an elegant design for a refreshing backup experience.
- Google Play.
I tried for Call backups and it works great....... Now thinking to make my apps backup too.
I am using this backup app since long time and it is really a very good reliable app.
Hi... can anyone tell me how to restore if i have backup from Poco F3 and want to restore on K30 Pro Zoom ?
and the devices already rooted.
Because last time, i cant restore even already copy the backup folder to new device.,.. Swift backup app cannot found my backup. (offcourse with same google account)
On LineageOS 18.1 with Magisk I'm not able to backup and restore any App data
The Backup process says "Complete", but when I look at the SwiftLogger I see the following error
ApkReader: Output for file /storage/emulated/0/SwiftbBackup/... [ERROR: dump failed because assets could not be loaded]

That is probably the reason why it won't restore.
Any idea what to do or where to look?
Ps: I'm just using the local version for now.
Hi everybody,
I switched to Swift Backup from Titanium Backup, and I got lost in the labyrinth of Swift's interface. I took a backup of all my apps, then a nandroid backup with TWRP and then I switched to a different rom.
In this operation, I forgot to back up Swift's password (I wish it could be disabled), so now I'm wondering: is there a way to recover the password for Swift from the nandroid backup? Can it be found in /data/data for example?
How do I change the backup location on this Swift app ?
How do I pick a specific folder ?

If you don't know the answer, read the FAQ.

Wasn't even finding an official forum

A terrible directive for an advanced app. They certainly won't see my money
I'm on the Pixel 7 Pro and finally had the occasion of needing to restore my wallpaper; and it confirmed what I had feared when initially looking at it from the app -- while it was the correct picture/image, it ended up being off-center and zoomed without being able to correct it.
Anyone else having this issue? Know of a workaround or explanation?

The explanation is simple: backup apps are unreliable. They only have different limitations. Swift is no exception, as I'm finding many.
This is how you may investigate:
[Root]/data/system/users/0/wallpaper_info.xml
This file carries the wallpaper settings.
I would compare this file before and after customizing the wallpaper to memorize the differences.
Then I would back it up and immediately restore it using Swift
If there is a difference between before and after the backup, you found the cause.
Since I grew tired of relying on these backup apps, I make manual copies of these files you will see around these folders, the folders beying /data/system/, and /data/system/users/0

Besides the inability to specify the backup dir, I found another problem: Swift encrypts everything.
On titanium, one can extract the app and the data from the ZIPs. Here, I can't.
Moreover, by using apps like Solid Explorer I can make a copy of other apps, with it's clear name, icon, and ready to install (and on a more organized manner).
The only advantage over Titanium is the backup of permissions, but being that the only one, I'd remove the "best app to backup" from the title of this thread.
