Hi Everybody,
This is the Rheti dev team. If you haven't heard about us we've created an app that lets you build native Android apps on your phone, without coding. We've just launched a major update to our free private beta and we'd love to know what you think. If you sign up for our beta at http://www.rheti.com and mention XDA in the reason for your application we'll make sure to let you in.
An overview of some the changes (there were quite a few):
-Integrated Blockly, the open source javascript visual programming language maintained by MIT. You can now build features (events/automation on the way) with Blockly and add them to the app.
-Backend feature redone to make it easier. We have tutorials on the site for how to do this as well.
-Added a bunch of components like augmented reality, youtube feeds, and so on.
-Added some templates. We're adding several more each day this week.
If you have any ideas or constructive criticism please let us know! We are adding lots more components and relying on your feedback to know what to add, so if you give us an idea there is a good chance we will use it.
Thanks!
Also, I forgot to add some images :

Can I make a app for my youtube channel with this like with andromo? I ask because I want an app that looks different than the andromo ones.

We recently added a Youtube feed feature so yes you can. You can customize the UI through the feed editor and it will look different than the Andromo ones, which do all look the same. We are currently fixing a small issue with the full screen features but that should be done later today. There is also a YouTube login/upvote/comment feature.
Other feeds we have are RSS feeds, Parse feeds, and Google Doc feeds. Using parse you can do some pretty advanced stuff like add augmented reality, create signature forms (for things like petitions) and there are a couple more that aren't coming to mind.
Thanks for your interest
Awesome Buddy :good: Sure i'll try
Oh my god!
Only yesterday was I searching for a similar app. And my quest was unsuccessful. I clearly see why xda rocks and subscribing to this feed can be a god send

Receipt is a small utility I made as part of my quest to learn programming.
It lets you create shopping lists and see your spending stats.
I'm preparing to release version 1.2 to the play store, but I need to test it for a while to make sure it's bug free.
So now, I'm releasing a beta of version 1.2. Version 1.2 brings a few new features. Among the big ones are :
4.3 and 4.4 compatibility.
A global monthly budget can now be defined; this is in addition to the per list limits already available since version 1.
Tags can now be assigned for each item. This lets you see spending by category in the stats tab.
Lists can now be sent to other people via the standard sharing menu.
If you come across any bugs or strange behavior while testing let me know by posting on this thread or through:
Google+
Twitter
This beta drops support for 4.0 and requires 4.1+. I'm currently having some issues with ICS, but hopefully I'll manage to fix them and restore 4.0 compatibility before releasing the final version.
Get the beta on the Play Store (via Google+), or by downloading the attached apk.
Not ready to test the beta? Get the current version on the play store.
COOL ! really nice looking app, will give it a go !

Hey congrats this is a beautiful app, if you want help to translate it to another languages i can help you, my mother tongue is spanish
Thanks.
Mulțumesc pentru aplicație, mă bucur să văd aplicații făcute de români!
This is awesome.
Only a few devs(and sadly not the bigger players) comply with Android Design Guidelines nowadays.
I will try the functionality as soon as I flash PAC.
Again, thanks for being a great developer and not rebelling against Android Design Guidelines.
Nice app. Can we get the ability to switch between light and dark themes?
Very nice app !
And looks awesome !
Nice :X
Re: [APP][4.0+]Receipt
Really nice looking, hope I have a budget I must maintain soon so I could give it a go
And may I give an advise/recommend a feature: let the user have a preset tax amount. Since most States here in US (or around the world) have different tax rates... so by the time you get to the checkout everything is added up correctly and kept on budget
Sent from my One X using Tapatalk 2
Really nice app. One thing though Since I'm living in Sweden it would be nice with some more currencies, in my case SEK. Can also help with translation if needed.
Thanks...nice app
Hi, I've tested your app. It's Very good but I missed some features.
First, for every purchase you do, the app should made a Product list in the background with all Products you've ever bought. Maybe depends on Mall. (An extra box for Malls?) So you can calculate how much your purchase will cost.
Second, how about a total amount per Month? How many money do you paid per Month, for example?
And another thing, may i can help you to translate it in German?
Open source?
Impressive. Is it open source? I'd like to contribute to it.
NICE...downloading now. We'll give some feedback in after a couple days usage!
Rich K.
when I changed from euro sign to dollar sign app crushed!
anyway app is looking very nice! looking forward to get new versions!
Awesome app!
Quick question : What library did you used to create the graph?
Found a little bug while doing some stress testing.
I set the budget to 1€, and added two massive values to the receipt.
The result was a negative total, thus not triggering the budget warning.

Hello everyone! Long time lurker first time poster here.
I created a Quit smoking app for Android called QuitControl. I thought it would be relevat as it is new year's eve coming and obviously many people are going to at least try to quit the habit. The app gives you a lot of realtime information related to your quitting, as well as achievements to unlock and health indicators to check out. Its also filled with funny slogans and facts about smoking and cigarettes.
Most importantly, a community feature will be released today, helping quitters worldwide to share tips and support each other in their journey.
The app is available in English, Spanish, Finnish and Chinese simplified (main parts).
You can get it from Google Play
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quitcontrol.app&referrer=utm_source%3DXDA
I would really appreciate if some mod edited the link on the "You can get it" text because as a new user I can't.
All suggestions and criticism is more than welcome And if you believe in the cause remember to share the app with your friends

New feature: Community
Okay so, as promised, I launched the community feature yesterday Drop in and chat with other quitters. Not many people there yet but the app is still young.
You can get it from Google Play

I'm not addicted. It's a dedication.

New counter
Added a "tar avoided in lungs" counter to the statistics page in pro version. Also added ads in the free one to support development. It doesn't have ads everywhere though, just the main section bottoms. Check it out and thanks for your support so far, xda has been a big source of downloads and helped me get to the top 250 when people search "quit smoking" on google play.

I guess you could in theory use this same app. Just instead of amount of cigarettes per day put amount of chewing tobacco a day and price and so on. If you were talking about the facts etc then maybe I could at some point append the facts section to have chewing tobacco information too. Didn't occur to me when I was doing it in the first place. Thanks for the suggestion!
Added share functionality to info page, cleaned up the interface in some areas and fixed a couple bugs. Thanks for your support and keep sending feedback.
Yay! The app has been given a 9/10 rating by bestappsmarket with the following short review:
A fantastic asset to quit smoking with daily goals, motivational stats, and the ability to log-in to a community chat to motivate others or let yourself be motivated to quit. A simple interface and no ads (upgrade for extras and more content) make this app stand out above the others in its category. Try to quit today!

Check this out
We've been featured on Androidandme.com in their weekly "Fresh meat" app article!
http://androidandme.com/2014/01/applications/fresh-meat-10-android-apps-worth-checking-out-4/
So the Fresh Meat article spread quite a bit around the internet and suddenly we're seeing a lot of downloads from Arabic countries. That will be one of the next languages to be supported in the app soon too. I am also working on two brand new sections in the app which should make it clearly better than any other quit smoking app there is. Just thought to bump the thread so more people who might be interested can download this as it's not really getting any visibility in Google Play at the moment.
New version 1.20 released!
What's new:
- More currencies (polish zloty, egyptian pound, saudi riyal, brazilian real etc...)
- Tips section, hand-picked tips to make sure you succeed in quitting.
- UI improvements
Check it out!

Welcome to the official Holofication Nation thread.
#holoyolo
http://www.holonation.co.uk/
Holofication Nation is currently a three man team, however, we plan to expand so we can produce more holo goodness in a shorter
time than the time it takes us to make them right now. Holofication Nation started off on Google+ as a small community,
we started to grow and we still continue to
Current Holofication Nation team members:
https://plus.google.com/u/0/+ConnorKirkby/
https://plus.google.com/u/0/+BrandonDSouza/
https://plus.google.com/+BejanKanga/
Our goal is simple, to do what those big companies can't do, make a decent UI.
Currently we have a small selection of apps, just 5. The small number mean nothing, all of our apps
are up to a high standard to ensure that you have the best experience possible. Even after the first release, we continue to work
on the apps, to squash bugs and improve the UI even further. Below is a list of the current apps that we have modified (The list will grow!)
Instagram
Steam
Pandora
CNN
Grooveshark
Last.FM
You must uninstall the official application to install these mods.
To download our mods, visit our website or join the Google+ community and click "App Releases"
"How do I keep up with your work?"
It's simple, just join our Google+ community, all development will take place there. Other social networking sites will be added soon!

We will not modify system apps

Judging by the screenshots, your steam app is not HOLO at all. Improper navigation drawer, wrong action overflow button, and other aspects make it definitely not HOLO.

The navigation drawer cannot be modified to be the actual navigation drawer. The overflow button is the correct one which is in use in 4.4 KitKat. I made sure to stick by the design guidelines as closely as I could. At least it's no longer an eye-sore, huh?
I was wondering when we would finally get a central location for things like this. Would you mind posting the instagram without the transparent status bars. Its a little too ios's looking with the action bar flowing into the status bar.

We will be releasing two versions at each update, one without translucent system bars and one without.
Nice idea but you should consider creating xposed modules instead of patching apps.
This way users still can update the apps from playstore and you don't need to patch every version.
really cool  :good:
Nice!!
Lets see.
Amazon
OOkla speed test
Solid explorer
PicSpeed wallpapers
Kik messenger

Um thats just a list of ideas. these are very popular apps and most have an old outdated UI

Interested to join the party team
We are looking for somebody to join the Holofication Nation team, their role will be to create an app, the app will provide downloads, updates, screenshots and information about the apps. You will not be paid for this. Please message me if you are interested in this.
Hi everyone, this is a bit of a crazy idea we hacked together over the past few days. It automatically puts you in a chat room for every app you have installed on your phone so you can talk in real time with everyone else who has the same app. We're releasing it as a an early alpha to get feedback, i.e. is this totally dumb or kind of fun? :good::cyclops:
UPDATE 5: We're now in *BETA* as of version 1.3. Just added user profiles, wallpapers, auto translation of messages to your language, and a lot more. Hope you like it!
UPDATE: Also in the play store now: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.larvalabs.myapps
UPDATE2: Just uploaded a new build to the play store with the following new stuff:
* Clickable links in messages
* Like button with like count!
* Fixed a bunch of screenshot sharing bugs
* More messages visible per chat
* Spam filtering and banning based on flagging messages
* Crash fixes
UPDATE3: Another quick update just posted to the store: v1.02. It lets you delete your own messages, a big user request after a few mistaken screenshot posts. We're also working on a lot of behind the scenes Troll Control(tm) and other improvements to the app.
UPDATE4: Just posted v1.2 which includes device chats (I'm in "Nexus 6 chat" for example) and "watching" rooms to let you be notified of every new message in a room.
Still working on stuff, but thought we should get that out there immediately. Hopefully even if you installed the APK directly you'll get the update.

Here’s some more features:
We automatically detect which app a screenshot is for and offer to upload it to that chat.
Swipe in from the bottom right of your screen when in any app and you can jump straight to the chat for that app.
All the usual chat stuff: you can like messages, mention users, etc.
Hope you like it, let me know if you have suggestions or feature requests!
Great APP!
Good for now :good:
Will report if something.
haha nice
Great idea I like your app
Thanks for the positive feedback so far everyone, it's been fun hanging out in calculator chat, haha.
I've seen a couple bugs that we're working on, but nothing too bad. Probably see how it goes tomorrow and do an update if needed. Thanks again.
Omg...who came up with this great idea...this needs to be featured on xda...hope it doesn't die
Awesome, glad you're liking it! It's definitely an experiment right now, but obviously the more people who use it the better it gets. I could see it being used for asking for help with an app or game (how do I get past this level?), trading high scores, talking about new versions of an app, etc.
The apk link has the wrong mime-type set server side. At least in Firefox this causes it to open as a text document.
Great idea and I definitely will give this a try.
This is genius.
You should add a search function, to quickly find apps you want to chat about. Also maybe a sort option, like sorting by most recent messages.
screenshot
Hi, loved the app, but the screenshot thing isn't working.
Also, the idea of a search bar is really good.
It would be perfect if the chat window would actually open in the bottom right on top of the app. I'd be more tempted to actually use it that way, especially on tablets where we can continue using an app while the chat is open.
Perhaps something like Facebook's chat heads would work here really well.
Nice idea
Suggestion
This is absolutely a great idea!!!! :good: :good: :good:
Suggestions:
You can clean from spaces the user id.
Or use some credentials like google and twitter
Ability to sort apps by name
Ability to hide apps (some of them don't make me proud u.u)
Eventually one problem will be about moderation issues. xda it's a great community but winter is coming.
Etc etc etc, but dude, this is awesome!!!! Love it
Great idea indeed! Now users who are using the same application can get quick info and discuss the application with one another.
Very cool! I hope this catches on. Would be very useful to ask questions and such about an app or just have random fun talking about it
it looks pretty awesome. wish i had an android phone at the moment to test it out!
I really like this idea, hope this catches on too!
How are you storing/organising the data in your backend?
This is amazing. And so original that it delights my bones.
A word of caution : provisions for spam blockage and overcrowding of a single room are in order.
Good luck, amazing stuff.

this sound amazing
any chance for an ios version?
add a device chatroom and we could get rid of XDA altogether!

Just downloaded, loving the clean UI and customization available, I'm certain that you may not know but I'll ask anyway: What are the chances of Twitter releasing the API to 3rd party developers to out group DMS Into apps? If they do that, this app will be beyond just useful. I'd use it in my daily social networking.
