I'm playing around with a new UI, but I'd rather have 6 rows and no dock, rather than 5 with the dock. Any ideas?
I'd second that

Why don't you use ADW launcher, you can add extra columns and rows. I disabled all labels and have loads of icons on each desktop.
That sounds like a good idea to me.

Click to collapse
Cause then there is the dock at the bottom, messes with the theme
Is it anyhow possible to change the stock icons of apps in HTC without using any launcher app?? cause launcher apps don't allow to use widgets given by HTC...
You can't change the icons in he app draw (easily) . But you can change any icons on your home screen using desktop visualizer

Thanks man...
I know it's possible to deactivate buttons but can I hide it?
ADW Launcher supports hiding the system bar, either by icon or a gesture of your choice.
The other launchers I don't know, trebuchet does not...

Trebuchet does support hidden notification bar, but I cannot figure how to show it.

I'm using a tasker task as a shortcut when swiping up the soft navbar, to launch expanded desktop. This way i can easily toggle expanded desktop to enjoy the full screen when browsing etc. Is it possible for someone to create a toggle between the soft navbar and the hardware navbar, so i can add it to my task? So when the One is in expanded desktop it uses the hardware navigation-bar, en when not its using the software navigation bar? If this is even possible.
Thanx in advance!
bump, this would be awesome

So after some experimentation I figured out how to hide the navbar while surfing with Chrome and other apps.
Swipe from the right to the left on the navbar.
On the navbar other symbols appear.
The first option from the left lets you hide the navbar.
Thanks.
