Bootloop trouble HTC One X - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Hi all, having some trouble with my HTC One X.
I've had it for about 1.5 years with no problems at all, until tonight.
I was using Snapchat, put the phone down on charger ( was at 5% battery) and then had a nap.
Woke up and found it was boot looping, tried to get into the boot loader but it reboots within seconds of me getting to the boot loader screen and I can't select anything.
Any suggestions?
Cheers.

If the phone is bootlooping while in the bootloader it isn't a good sign, that usually suggests something wrong with the motherboard.
Do you have the HTC One X (Endeavoru) or the HTC One XL / at&t One X (Evita)?

Ok. You're in the wrong forum, this is the HTC One XL (Evita) forum. I believe it's a hardware issue but it's probably worth going and asking in the right place anyway.

finding the correct RUU

hello,
I won a 32 GB HOX and I need to completly stocked my phone using the RUU
I just dont know which one I have to choose
my CID is : HTC_044
Thank you !
That seems like an endeavor HTC one X. I would ask in their forums. Ours are carrier locked phones with different hardware.

32gb, HTC__044 would fit an Evita from Singapore region.
smk444, do you know if this phone is dual core or quad core?
Or if it is a One X or One XL eg Endeavor vs Evita?
Nearly all One XL are carrier unlocked as far as I know. Maybe just the AT&T is locked.
smk444, power the phone off completely. It is best to turn off "fast boot" in the power settings or your phone is unlikely to want to fully turn off.
Push and hold volume down and then breifly push the power button while still holding the volume down.
Take a picture or type exactly the info that is shown at the top of the screen
Eg

yep sounds like a se asia endeavor, type "fastboot getvar version-main" in your command prompt/terminal and post it
No one xl are carrier unlocked unless you buy if from a 3rd party vebdor. Most are carrier locked since they are typically purchased from a carrier.

Evitas purchased from Telstra (Australian carrier) come carrier unlocked.

Hong Kong stock is also unlocked.
I believe the Singapore stock is also unlocked.
Other than AT&T users I have not heard of the device being locked to a carrier.
And it is just as likely a Singapore Evita as an Endeavor.
So far the only points pointing in either direction are the user saying HOX vs the user posting in the Evita forum.
Telus and Rogers are both locked.

HOX after unlock via HTCdev not really useable

Hello community,
normally, i love my HOX, but since 4 weeks i hate to use my smartphone.
I've unlocked it via HTCdev and i think it did everything right, but my HOX hates me now.
While i listen to music, every 10 seconds it stops for like 1 second. That's very annoying, if u're out with friends for example.
But there's a bigger problem. Sometimes, the statusbar disappear, 50% power is after 20minutes whatsapp via mobile internet used and the temperature is not normal, it's everytime hot, even if it's cold outside. It also laggs sometimes.
I've done a factory reset, but it don't really helped me.
I hope there's help for my HOX
You need to supply more info: did you go any further than just unlocking the bootloader? If so, what recovery and ROM are you using? What are your hboot details?

[Q] AT&T One X + Touchscreen Problem

I have a stock phone thats never been rooted and the touchscreen is unresponsive. I awoke the other morning and the screen was completely unresponsive. The only things that work are the buttons. Iv tried restoring the phone to factory and I replaced the screen/digitizer but still have the same issue. Is there a way to check if its hardware or software problem?
Heres the phone details:
Evitare_UL PVT Ship S-On RL
Hboot-1.40.0000
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
You're in the wrong device forum. This is the HTC One XL / at&t One X (Evita) forum, you need to go ask in the HTC One X+ (Evitare) forum.
