Is the bootloader locked, unlocked or re locked?

I believe it will.not show as it is visible only to hboots v2.0 afaik.
My suggestion is to RUU to your current version. Or higher.

Spot on Skanob. That is the precise reason why it is always recommended to downgrade to v0.98 prior to returning a phone - they can't see that you've been messing around with it.

Hi all, having some trouble with my HTC One X.
I've had it for about 1.5 years with no problems at all, until tonight.
I was using Snapchat, put the phone down on charger ( was at 5% battery) and then had a nap.
Woke up and found it was boot looping, tried to get into the boot loader but it reboots within seconds of me getting to the boot loader screen and I can't select anything.
Any suggestions?
Cheers.

If the phone is bootlooping while in the bootloader it isn't a good sign, that usually suggests something wrong with the motherboard.
Do you have the HTC One X (Endeavoru) or the HTC One XL / at&t One X (Evita)?

Ok. You're in the wrong forum, this is the HTC One XL (Evita) forum. I believe it's a hardware issue but it's probably worth going and asking in the right place anyway.

Oh, my bad!
Thanks
Hi people, I have a HTC One X (H3G_001) and have always wanted to root and run a new custom rom like Viper or Cyanogen. I have tried twice since my phone has mysteriously put itself into a bootloop whilst I've been on holiday :S
I have failed everytime at updating the HBOOT and getting a rooted custom HTC to work so first time I managed to get it back to default working order however, this time I'm having no luck and no idea what I'm doing wrong or right, all I know is the phone is wiped and has TWRP recovery.
I am beginning to think its all over for my phone but I read forums and believe there is still hope ! ... Right ?

May have over looked something but wanted to reset my HBOOT loader to stock for warranty sake. As my phone has some physical damage as well as camera not working. Is there a way to get back s-on locked boot loader status and normal stock CID back. I had up dated boot loader once i believe and so have red developer text. This is a HTC One X (Not ONE XL) AT&T phone. If there is away to do all that I will do it. Well thanks for any response and for taking the time to read this and yes I seen a way to get locked status back on HTC one X but don't know about the other stuff and want to do this properly. Than ks again.
