[Q] help with cyansense rom - HTC One S

just installed the cyansense beta rom on my one s, its a damned fine 4.4.2 rom very stable and good battery life. on the xda page for it is says it is kept up to date with the latest cm 11 nightlies.
has anyone else installed this rom, if so how do you update it to the nightly. the thread for it is closed so I`m struggling.
would it be a case of downloading the cm nightly and just flash it after clearing cache and dalvic?
really like this rom and would like it to be up to date.

As the thread for this Rom has been closed, there will be no updates. You can not flash the official cm11 nightlies over your current cyansense Installation, to update it. But there are lots of other nice roms, which are worth an attempt and will be kept up to date by the dev.

rom updates

hello
i today install cyanogenmod 7.2.0 cooper stable before this i have cm 7.2 nightly update but I was wondering what is better
stable or nightly i see that new nightly occur every few days a new update
but I was wondering if anyone knows why the nightly version of the much updates
or am i have installed stable then install nightly update or what?i do not understand this!!!i have trouble with my bluetooth on stable and nightly version
so what is the difference between stable and nightly and how install updates why i must install everytime new updates
sorry for my bad english and thanks everybody who help me
someone knows any good rom is fast and conserves battery power
Stable just means their arent really any bugs or glitches while nightlies might have some. Nightlies might have a few bugs here and there, but it shouldn't affect your performance too much

i like nightly but some people say is stable better i try stable but my bluetooth not work so i try this
1.install stable 7.2.0 cooper
2.then I was installed over the stable a nightly latest update but i dont wipe data, cache and other i just install first stable then over stable install a nightly update
in my opinion it is done so that you have to first install stable then over this version install nightly update without having to do wipe data, wipe dalvik etc...
So if I was okay to do because my phone is working normally even though I system was installed over one another

CM 10.2 Nightly 20130906 Problems

Since I am not allowed to post in the official development thread: Installing the above nightly (TWRP 2.5) leads to a non booting phone for me. I believe there something wrong with the release. Please be aware.
Use twrp 2.3.3, 2.5 is known to have issues. I've also read 2.6 works for some.

Same here for both 20130906 and 20130907 ... Tried to flash the kernel with both boot.img but nothing did the trick.
Had to go back to kernel 20130905 and same nightly version
(I have clockworkmod though, latest version for that device - HTC ONE S)
HBOOT 2.15.0000
Radio 1.11.50.05.28
What should I do to get the latest nightly ?
(yep, I'm a noob)
Thanks for your help
They posted something on facebook saying not to install these nightlies because they're boned atm. I'm sure a better one will be out soon.
Grab the 2.6 TWRP! The nightlies are running fine for me, I've been flashing both the CM10.2 nightlies and the Pac-Man Rom 4.3 Nightlies. Pac is using the CM's and it's been good as far as I've known

There were several days of broken nightlies for all devices, including the 9/6, so it has nothing to do with TWRP.

[Q] CyanogenMod 10.2 Stable Release.

Hello guys, I need some help! My GT-P3113 which is running stock 4.1.1 rooted, has a problem with WiFi. I checked the modem, network settings but nothing happened. So I wiped data and cache with C.W.M. I booted up succesfully on 4.1.1 (from the beginning), and I followed the usual process:
Choose your country - date and time - add Samsung account (I skipped it) - add Gmail account (ERROR,ERROR,ERROR).
So I thought that I have to flash a custom ROM in order to get my tablet fixed.(not to mention that custom ROMS are better than stocks). I thought of CM 10.2 but I noticed that for GT-P31XX devices, everyone is flashing a nightly and not a stable release of 10.2 . And I would like to ask you, what would happened if I flashed the CyanogenMod 10.2 stable. If it's not bad, can someone tell me how to install it?
A huge thanks to everyone

Stable that's mean it can be use for daily use and have less bugs, maybe there's no bugs
but , i'm not sure if cm10.2 is exist, you can check it on cyanogenmod sites
for instal it, you have to rooted your phone and have installed cwm recovery for instal the rom
CM10.2 Stable not exist for Galaxy Tab 2 at the moment, but the nightlys are much stable.
Maybe take a look on SlimBean 4.3.1 Stable 2.2 - i love it

@dimsar2013
Don't worry about "stable", it is just a label. CM10.2 nightly builds for Tab 2 are already very stable, I use one from October 17th and it is bug-free.
Slimbean 4.3 Stable 2.2 is awesome!!! The device runs very smoothly and the battery life is so big!!!!! It is an amazing ROM. Way more better than the Stock TouchWiz themed ROM.

so in the past week or so ive seen someone take my ROM, create a thread and released as his own. today i see another cat kang the $hit out of my device trees, and claim "me only" in credits, da fuq?
that was the straw that broke the Tab 2's back, for me anyway

wow! love to see you here! I used Lungo on my One S and it was the best I ever had.
Will try out later!
The project sounds interesting. Especially since it's based on CM.
Is there a more detailed description available on how the longer battery life is realized? Is it just from removing apps and widgets? Or are there changes to the code itself, too?
Usually I'd go with CM11. But it would be nice to get a better idea about in how far it differs from the classic CM.

Does this use the newer partition table? Will I need to update my twrp and hboot? Im currently on stock 4.2.2 jelly bean with s-off and hboot 2.19. I don't want any trouble if I decide to go back to stock 4.2.2 jelly bean. Cheers.
ALSO is this build running ART and SELINUX? Will I be able to run Xposed framework with this?

I think this requires the new partition table. i too am s-off, hboot 2.19 twrp 2.6.3. i tried to install this and all seemed fine initially,BUT... it booted to setup then popups saying that "pico tts has stopped" and wont continue. downloaded ROM and gapps a few times in case it was a dodgy dload.

I've got same problem with S-Off and HBoot 2.21 and Twrp 2.6.3.
It is the problem of this ROM - you need to flash it, boot up and then install gApps.
Then it will work - I have the same problem with Codename Lungo on S4 Mini.

[Q] Running NIGHTLY CM as opposed to any other rom?

Hi.
I am new to this.
I am running RR for a while.
Every Time there's a new build up, dev instructs to flash latest CM NIGHTLY.
I was thinking - why not just run the Nightly build as a daily rom?
Am I missing something? Is it strictly for development purposes?
I am looking for rock solid stability mainly.
Thanks!

That's usually only recommended if there's a change in firmware in CM. It's not necessary to flash CM13 every time before flashing RR. I've never even used RR but I'm sure that's the only reason he would advise to flash CM.
Latest CM13 works great, rock stable at the moment so if you wanna switch go ahead

CM nightlies contain firmware files in it. So what the dev wants is for you to update to the latest working firmware from CM nightly, and when you flash RR after, the firmware stays.
