Hi all this is my first post in XDA forum. I messed up my tipo and dont know what to do.
Here's what happened:
I was being continually bugged by my friends to root and then install a custom rom on my tipo. They kept taking about how wonderful it would be and all that. so i went ahead and successfully rooted my phone. Then i installed Clockwork mod 6 and took back up of my current rom on the external SD card. Then i backed up the clockwork mod folder containing my backup on to the pc.
Then i downloaded PACman Rom complete with gapps.zip and fixstorage.zip. and loaded them in sd card and then booted in to cwm and flashed the rom. I got the finished message and rebooted but got stuck at the sony icon and would go no further. i then decided to go back to the orignal backup i had taken. i again booted in to cwm and tried the back up it said md5 mismatched. i googled it and came up with procedure to fix error using SDK tool and managed to remove the old nanadriod.md5 and write a new nandroid.md5 in the backup which fixed the md5 mis match error.
I again started the recovery from backup and got past md5 mismatch error, it loaded boot.img successfully and got stuck at loading the system file.
i tried several times but still the same. then i tried rebooting to try it again and i cannot go into cwm again. and neither can it boot up because the system image didnot load fully. it doent even show the orignal bootmenu before rooting. i am stuck and dont know what to do. please help.

and i tried flashing with 1st link thought it was DDKP2 but i didnt noted DDKB2
mine is DDKP2...but iam unable to boot please help..iam a beginner..
please tell how to boot in clockwork recovery mod
Thanks in advance
If u want to try lots of cool mods then simply flash xxkpq rom. Then flash Utter Chaos kernel. It will root ur kernel. Also it will provide ur clockworkmod, overclock facilities.
Then next most imp step is u must deodex ur phone & finally flash 10 lockscreen mod especially using xxkpq files only.

Do One thing..Flash the Universal CF-Root...It is immaterial of the Firmware!
After that download the de-odex zip...And flash it via CWM.
Then Flash ANY theme/mod you want!

Hello,
This is my first post here on xda and I have a problem that needs solved. I have a HTC Sensation XE with CWM 5.0.2.0 and i have the dreaded MD5 mismatch. I edited the folder name to Stock_Backup when I tried a new ROM, after flashing the rom I remembered that I forgot to install the gapps after I got stuck in a bootloop. I then tried to get back to stock and I got the words that have haunted me for the past 3 days MD5 mismatch. Of course I tried to rename the folder back to the time stamp, but that did not work. I tried editing the .MD5 file with Notepad++, that also did not work. I sorta need my phone as I use it for a number of different things, I also don't want to sent it to HTC for them to say I have to pay a fine out of my Nexus7 money jar. PLEASE HELP ME!!!:fingers-crossed:
If u can enter recovery just flash a new rom again with a full wipe.
Gapp are just google apps, not installing them wouldn't cause any harm.
Not sure if relevant for your phone but are u HTCdev unlock? if yes flash boot.img separately.
I've tried that and it won't boot into recovery....crap, my parents are going to kill me!:crying:
Hi there!
Few days back I had a problem of low internal memory. I posted the problem, got some responses, then followed cute prince's Nandroid restoring tutorial. Flashed the latest Cm9, all was working fine. Then again needed a change (I'm kinda flashaholic ), wiped / reset my phone thru TWRP recovery (whatever is the procedure) and was unable to flash any single rom onwards. Tried to flash stock rom, even tried to restore my 6 months old cwm recoveries, but nothing boots up. I also tried to flash boot.img thru fastboot and flash the rom consequently but it too didn't work.
Now, I have no rom on my explorer except getting to bootloader, fastboot, TWRP or Clockworkmod recoveries. I can't do the nandroid restore as told by cute prince, now.
So I would have to post again here in the forum for the above problem. Here, what I need is to find out about what went wrong actually and what is the solution to the problem!! I hope am not talking about bricking the phone or something.
An urgent reply is highly appreciated, please
Regards.

i'm stuck in an endless bootloop after trying to upgrade the CM10 Beta 4 version on my Samsung Galaxy S Plus.
This is what i did
I'd upgraded from 2.3.3 to 2.3.6 some months ago. Then flashed CM10 Beta 4 by ivendor.
For this i first downloaded the CWM -> recovery-clockwork-5.5.0.4-ariesve.tar.md5 and flashed it using Odin.
Then the ROM file -> cm-10-20130324-ivendor-beta4-ariesve.zip
Was checking the updates on this and found much advances in the 2.5 release of 2 May 2013.
So downloaded the CWM -> CWMRecovery-6.0.2.8-ariesve-kernel26.tar.md5. When i tried to flash using Odin it gave me the MD5 error.
Saw somewhere on the forum to flash using zip file, so downloaded CWMRecovery-6.0.2.8-ariesve-kernel26.zip and tried to flash. This was when my phone got soft-bricked.
Removed the cable, battery etc. After some time, was able to go into Download mode but not Recovery.
Then i tried to flash to stock ROM (2.3.6) - I9001XXKQI_I9001XXKPM_I9001OXFKQ3_HOME.tar.md5. This completed and Odin said PASS. But the phone now goes into a bootloop. Tried the Recovery mode but after the Android-out-of-the-box symbol it again said SAMSUNG and started the boot. This is repeating continuously. What should i do now? Please help.
This is the sequence of things...
1) 2.3.3 to 2.3.6 - Success !!
2) Flash with CM10-Beta 4.a) recovery-clockwork-5.5.0.4-ariesve.tar.md5 - OK
b) cm-10-20130324-ivendor-beta4-ariesve.zip - Success!!!
c) gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip - Success!!3) Flash with CM10-Release 2.5a) CWMRecovery-6.0.2.8-ariesve-kernel26.tar.md5 - MD5 checksum error !!
b) CWMRecovery-6.0.2.8-ariesve-kernel26.zip - Soft-bricked !!!4) Flash stock ROM (2.3.6) a) I9001XXKQI_I9001XXKPM_I9001OXFKQ3_HOME.tar.md5 - PASS
Bootloop
Cannot go into Recovery mode too (after Recovery mode icon appears SAMSUNG logo comes up and phone boots with the blue spiral, this goes into a continuous loop)

AFAIK, CM10 would have already consisted of the latest CWM, so there is no need of u to flash a CWM again over it!
Ur biggest mistake, u MUST have had a nandroid backup before doing anything to ur phone! This might have been even recommended by the thread of the CM10.
So my last suggestion from the things that u have done, flash the CWM through odin if possible right now and if successful get into recovery mode and wipe data & cache and check whether the bootloop is gone.
Else try reflashing the stock firmware.
If that doesn't even help, get help from the devs related to ur device through PM.
If hopeless still, then hit a samsung service center near u
Hit thanks rather than typing it
Will try this

I already took the Nandroid backup before flashing CM10 Beta 4. But was not able to go into it after my phone was soft-bricked.
Solved - booted into 2.3.6 !!!

A million thanks!! It somehow started now into the 2.3.6.
Flashing the recovery-clockwork-5.5.0.4-ariesve.tar.md5 did not solve the bootloop. Then i flashed the Boot_loader.tar. That too did not solve the bootloop. Tried Recovery mode again but the SAMSUNG logo kept coming and going until i released my fingers after a full two minutes. Then before the android-out-of-the-box icon came it went straightaway into Recovery .
Wiped Data and Cache and rebooted. After a very very long time it started and asked if im okay with the Google data collection policy asked in Polish language.
Wow, going to update to 4.1.2 Release 2.5 in some time.
Thanks again man. :good:
Got CM10 Beta 4 again !

Also pasting here an easter egg that i saw after loading Gingerbread 2.3.6 before this CM10.
Putting this because i tried this for the first time in GB (the seven times click on android version)
First let me say that I'm kinda new to android flashing and I'm learning, so please be understanding.
A few days ago I got in my hands an i9003 and decided to root and unlock it, I thought I had made an /efs backup, but, as a matter of fact this backup turned out to be empty, as apparently I didn't backup with root permision. A day later decided to install CM11 and I followed this tutorial: bit.ly/J5d5UL When I tried to install the ROM it rebooted and it got stuck in recovery mode. I read extensively over what to do, so I decided to flash back to stock (UBKB1, as I'm from Argentina and this is the Latin american Froyo stock). I've had no luck with this: it is now stuck with the glowing Samsung logo right after the boot animation. I've read that the CF-Root used in the tutorial, amit.bagaria one, it's intended to work with Gingerbread, and I had Froyo installed when I started the tutorial, ¿can this be the cause of everything? ¿Is there something I can do? I've also read to flash to KPE first and then on to others, but I'm worried that, as I don't have my /efs backup, I could lose my 3g and/or IMEI.
Thanks in advance, and also I apologize any grammar errors I could have as English isn't my native language.

sometimes while installing rom the phone automatically reboots into recovery.. but tht is normal.. then u have to again flash the rom ... but for now .. try clearing dalvik cache in recovery mode... and reboot .. if tht doesnt work then using odin flash back to kpe .. here is a video link http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2crS2rZgUQc&desktop_uri=/watch?v=2crS2rZgUQc and u can loose ur internal data so backup...
hit thanks if i helped
Thanks for the reply.
Sorry I didn't specify further, when it was booting continuously into recovery I tried to install the ROM, but it threw an error (#7 if I recall correctly) and then it kept looping into recovery.
I'll try to flash CWM now (as I don't have it flashed after flashing stock) and do the wipes.
EDIT: I've flashed CWM for the firm I had installed, wiped everything, reflashed and it still doesn't work, I'd like to avoid KPE until I'm sure I can recover the /efs folder as I don't want lo lose connectivity of any sort. Update: during wiping CWM said it can't mount /datadata
Thanks anyway
Last Update:I've got a KPE for my region so I've flashed it, I've also flashed amit.bagaria's universal CWM, it kept looping, so I tried to install the rom, unsuccessfully, it reboots on a different version of CWM, and if I try to install it again it says:

leave amit bagaria zip aside... flash this on kpe using odin link:- http://www.mediafire.com/download/vh701fh312la2v9/ZHKPE-CFROOT-25-05-2012.tar . after odin detects your device. go to PDA option and select this zip file from your computer and flash.. this will root your device and add a cwm recovery. and let me know what happened.. and even iam not a professional. but i were u i would have tried all possible ways.. have fun.. we ill get a way out of it..
hit thanx if i helped
Excuse me but, ¿PIT? ¿isn't it PDA? Also, that CWM isn't for the firm of the region I have, ¿wouldn't I have problems flashing that one?
I've been reading that it could be that the internal memory is corrupted, ¿is there a way to check this?

sorry bro ! its pda .. i havent used odin for months so.... and iam not sure region would cause any problem ! it will be better to consult a professional.... and even ill read about it and post if i get something..
Ok, so I kept reading about it and it doesn't seem to be a corrupted memory, there are some errors that should appear and they don't.
I've been recomended to flash to XXKB3 as it doesn't modify the IMEI file, and then if that doesn't work flash XXKPE; I'm having a hard time finding it though, as all hotfile links are dead.
Ok! I've flashed XXKP3 and finally it booted. I'll see to take other problems I might have somewhere else.
