Nice to see a support thread for this ROM
I flashed Liquidsmooth a couple of weeks ago, but I wasn't able to receive any MMSs and when trying to enter APN settings, they just force closed on me. So I decided to jump ship. Is this fixed (the APN settings) and does anybody else have this problem?

It seems to be a generel problem on some roms, I think force closes were also present at AICP and Slimkat. Kernel didn't make any difference at I did not flash any other addons/mods.
The reason I'm asking the question is basically because I'm too lazy to flash the rom again and find out whether or not it is fixed
I think I saw something from the new CM release, where they said that they fixed some bugs that could have something to do with my problem. But then again, that would only make any difference if LS i either based on or are using commits from CM in this particular area.
Are you trying to change APN with dial pad key code or mobile networks in settings? In on tmobile us and mine auto populates just have to select from list.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Oh,just saw this thread
I am on LS (march 14) and I live in an area were the mobile phone network strength is low, and sometimes the it just gets cut off for a few seconds.
But my phone doen't reconnecting automatically to my network now as it did when I was on Stock ROM.
I have to manually search for the network or turn on and off the airplane mode every time to get reconnected to the network.
I have noticed this with the march 13/14 versions and I dont remember having this problem with the older versions
EDIT
____
march 09 version has the problem too
_____
And I've tried on Paranoid Android just now, and it doesnt show any problem

New developer is welcome.
I flashed this rom and never got past the boot screen, more than 15 mins. I tried doing a clean install, meaning I wiped everything.
That's weird it works on mine perfectly

I can verify this ROM will not boot up. Tried from a complete clean wipe.

On the stock ROM, Spotify would resume playing once I enter my car and the phone establishes a bluetooth connection. This no longer happens on Omni. Anyone know how to get it back to stock behavior?

I can't see the pic that you sent but I think you're talking about the APN option. Its OK if you don't have the same list. You can always create them whenever you need them.
I don't have Sprint service on my Nexus 5 but it looks like you will have to flash the file from the first link I sent you. Everyone else with Sprint seem to be doing the same and its working for them. Please read it thoroughly so you don't mess up your phone.

Another thing you can do is read the OP (Original Post) of whatever ROM you want to download and see if the OP stated if the ROM works with Sprint or not. If the OP does not state if the ROM is capable then just ask in the forum and someone will confirm it for you.
Good luck and thanks for not drowning. Lol

Hello everyone.
I just tried to run Ubuntu on nexus 5 using complete Linux installer and android vnc viewer.
Everything goes OK and on terminal emulator it is fine.
But at the time to connect in vnc android viewer even after I followed all steps it says
"Vnc connection failed.
Failed to connect to localhost/127.0.0.1(port 5900).
Connect failed :ECONNREFUSED (connection refused)"
Plz help what can I do after that....
i dont know what the issue is, but just last week or the week before they said that they arent working on the project anymore and wont support it anymore.
OK but it should work at present state.because it is still in play store

Dunno then... Something must have gone wrong in setup if you've rebooted and still the same.
Or try a different image. The latest version definitely works. I checked it very recently. I didn't keep it though. It's no better than was 2 years ago really. Just not really useable. Maybe with a mouse if that's possible.

And does it support loop devices correctly? I would rule out kernel by switching to elementalx temporarily. That's because I know elementalx works but I don't know about linaro. If it works for you, you know Kernel needs tweaking. If not, you rule out kernel.
If still not working, delete all your downloaded scripts and uninstall the apps and start again from scratch.

Miui is a really nice Rom, it always has been. For this Rom though there's a lot to be improved upon and as much as I really want this to be daily driver the problems out weigh the benefits.
Dismissing notifications don't work
System and Google Play Service crashes occasionally
Further resizing needed
Chinese Language is still present in some areas
Navik is very nice for coming back after what happened with MIUI5. With this build out, there's only room for improvements.

Quick questions.
Is this based on stock LG or aosp? I'm asking cause of the camera of course.
And to those that have installed it, is it a daily driver?
Can I just flash the rom itself, I'm already on kitkat.
