[Q] What is up with my expandable notifications? - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flashed my nexus 5 back to stock, and then installed franco kernal when I noticed my expandable notifications were broken. Does anyone know why or how I can fix it? rebooting doesnt do anything.
They all look like the screenshot I've attached.

did anyone try flashing a different radio and it solved the problem?

What DPI settings are safe?

I know the stock is 160 and 120 also works. 140 will bootloop you.
Anyone know which other numbers are acceptable?

If you're curious, you can make a CWM-flashable zip with your default build.prop in it and try out some different settings. If you bootloop, flash the stock build.prop and all is better.

Not totally sure, but there used to be a buildprop edit that went something like qemu.mainkeys and disabled the bar. Good luck!

Are you running GravityBox? If so just go back into the settings and set it back to normal. You may need to reboot after.
Yes I'm using glovebox and that didn't work.

Nexus 5 ART

I have just got my nexus 5 a day ago running stock rom stock kernel, rooted with clockworkmod in play and I'm trying to turn on ART, the system asks to reboot and when it does there is no upgrading process when the device boots, I in to dev options and it indicates it's still using David, I've tried this over and over again and nothing, anyone have a clue what I'm doing wrong?

Hi,
Do you use Xposed framework and modules?
If yes it's normal because they are not compatible with ART, and makes revert to Dalvik runtime automatically.
If no, sorry I don't know...
I do use exposed, that's a real shame, what if I was to use a custom Rom like omni would it still revert back?

So yes it's due to Xposed and you can't do anything until the devs will make it compatible...
No you can use ART with another rom but not with Xposed, whatever the rom with Xposed you can't use ART...

You have to read the Xposed thread before using it...I am really desperate for the X to be working correctly on ART qq...

[Q] Undervolting

Can interrupting cause your phone to go into a bootloop? How can I fix this?

Interrupting?

If you undervolt too much its possible. However I would recommend leaving the "Set on boot" option unchecked. That way if you undervolt too much and encounter issues, you can simply reboot to reset to default values.
