Whenever I try to download some large apps from the play store ,they are stuck in between.
Google play shows no error , they are just stuck the notification goes away too but the play store shows still downloading.I have attached a screenshot below.
I am using Carbon rom (Port on Htc Explorer);Android 4.3.1 and in2ext script.
Play store version : 4.5.10

Use int2ext script not int2ext+ i faced the same problem..
I replaced the script.. Cleared dalvich cache and data of playstore..
I deleted the account and added again.. It worked..
I'm not actually good at this but do I need to remove all my apps then change the script or there is an easier and less time consuming way.

There are 2 ways:
1. Copy the script in the ROM zip then flash the ROM..
Now you can do is flash over the present ROM installation after wiping cache and dalvich cache ..
2. Copy paste script..
As you have many apps I would suggest that remove apps then put the script..
The reason for removal of apps is it will take a long time to boot plus you may never know what may go wrong .. You can restore your apps via titanium backup so uninstalling won't be a problem..

First of all backup ur all the installed apps with ES file explorer or other one, and also backup ur phonebook contacts then reset ur mobile... I m sure that It will work

I rooted my phone last night using poot and super user. I downloaded a modded google play from pirate bay thinking it was gonna give me free apps. i deleted the google play that was orginally on my phone now i can't get it back. i tried factory reset. i tried downloading a google play apk but everytime i open it after download is crashes. i want to unroot my phone but dont have a usb cord and dont have google play. what do i do?!?!?!

a lot of times roms do not have a google play apk but now here is what you can do .YOU can search the web ,and install google play 4.0.25 its the new one and it is downloadable as an apk file.JUST tipe downloadandroidrom in your browser and go to apk and then go to market, click on com.android.vending .If you have any problems installing it ,try use a file explorer.

I tried doing that and it keeps saying download unsucessful. i tried finding a file explorer but they all show up in google play and i dont have it. is there anything esle i can try? thank you for responding and helping out!!

First off, we dont support piracy on xda.
To solve your problem, download a play store in apk format from sites like androidpolice etc. and push it to /system/app with permissions of rw-r-r. You are done.

nothing has worked ive tried both things and google play still crashes. ive tried moving it and it won't let me.
when i move google play apk i move it to system. then i install it then when i open it, it still crashes.

Ok. Install the app directly. Download another app called link2sd. Grant superuser access. Then open app window. Click on google play. Click on actions button. see options and click "make system app". It will make it system app automatically. Then reboot your phone. If it still FC, use fix permissions option from cwm recovery.

make sure that you also have GoogleServicesFramework.apk and GoogleLoginService.APK. AFAIK you need these two as well to get the play store app to work.
superuser says my binary is outdated. when i go to update it, it crashes saying it has stopped unexpectly. on link2sd all the options under actions is launch manage reinstall unistall. i tried manage and it just took me to application settings. i hope i didnt screw up my phone rooting it last night because i cant do anything on it. google play has got to where i can go in install an app but soon as i hit accept and download it crashes. i did a factory reset last night so poot and superuser are gone. i tried to redownload superuser just now and thats when it said my binary was outdated and when i try to update it, it crashes. is this fixable or is my phone screwed up lol. i really appreciate you helping me!!!

You can disable notifications from superuser app. Also you won't loose root if you factory reset your phone. Superuser app is set as system app when you root it. Also follow what justmpm said above.

You must install the Goggle play compatible with your Android version and your phone.
Please provide the phone model, Android version and if you have a custom recovery or not,
If you are still unable to install playstore apk, i will recommend downloading gapps for your phone model. Flash them from custom recovery using install zip. This should install your playstore. No clue if it can override the pre exisiting apps. Still learning on xda.

I don't think he has a curtom recovery set up. Flashing Gapps would overwrite existing ones, but most gapps packages are configured to abort the installation if some gapps already exist.
Try this app as an alternative
Have u tried downloading 1 mobile apk its like Google play store try it

He is already on root, and perhaps if there's nowhere the solution, ome simply can't live without playstore. I will advise full system wipe with data and installing a newer custom recovery and then new rom with new gapps.

Brother sorry we couldn't help you in this case because we don't know how to fix it . One thing you can do is that Google it and you will found some better response for sure
Dude, that is the easiest thing to fix, but if the OP doesn't tell us the phone model and version i wont even bother trying to fix it. OP is inactive anyways...

When I browse the Play Store website my present phone is not shown as an installation candidate for chosen apps. This occurred since installing my current ROM and restoring form Titanium backup.
Now - how can I tell Play Store that I'd like to install to my present phone and not my former one? I already tried force closing app store in "manage apps" and deleting all data, but to no avail.

PACman ROM v23.0 for i9305; google id is the same in app as in web interface;
Anyway - I don't know what happened, but suddenly my phone is shown again.

Hi Friends
For the past couple of days I'm struggling with the the google play app crashing problem.
I have tested all most all CM ROMs (9.1, 10, 10.1, miniCM, etc...) but in all ROMS when I tap the Google Play app its opening and after 2-3 seconds its crashing with a error message "Urfortunately ......". I'm not frustrated and do not know what to do.
What and How I'm doing
------------------------------------
1. made partition (from TWRP recovery) to my 16GB Class 10 microSD card : 1GB sd-ext
2. Copy CM rom and gapps to SD card from TWRP by mounting the SD card
3. Clear cache, davinc, factory rest from TWRP
4. Clear system, delete the existing ROM
5. Flash rom and then gapps
6. reboot
Please help me as I'm not able to install ANY app without google play app. Is there any other way to install apps w/o google play app ?

certainly ! just google the <name>.apk, download on pc--->put it in sd and install it.
CM roms are buggy why dont u come on stock or sense 4 roms?

1st make sure u have proper gapps installed for each roms.
delete cache and data from all apps by google mainly play, gmail, google now, hangout.
delete google account from settings/accounts/google account
reboot ur device
add fresh account with same or different user id
open google play
wait untill terms and conditions pop up appears
sucess....?
report....

Nothing works bro, I ve tried everything and still its crashing.
BTW, It may be really mad, but I noticed one of friend who had visited to my home and his Google Play store app was also crashing with my wifi setup (connected his phone to my wifi). Is it something related to wifi ???
Also when I'm trying to visit xda forums all CSS styles are gone and I'm seeing only weird plain HTML pages with all browsers, but on Linux/FF it works perfectly with same router.

I only ever encountered "Package file is invalid".
Try using different ROM, try AOKP or CM10

It seems that you are running a MOD Play Store?
I have 4 different recommendations,try them, might they help you.
1.Do Factory Format, and while startup, Make sure to uncheck the BACKUP YOUR APP DATA AND SETTINGS and after giving your E-mail address.
2. Try to remove existing account and add another account on Play Store. ( Remove old one completely )
Then Reboot and add your previous account, check if play store is fine or not.
3. Check whether you are using a PROXY, if yes then remove it from going to APN (Access point Name)
4. If nothing works, try to Flash a JB 4.2.2 GAPPS while going into CMW recovery (wipe cache and Dalvik cache too, before flashing gapps)

Hello, i always get a "-24" error when trying to install clean master. I was able to install and use that app before. But then, my SD card broke.. I changed to a new sd card. And i was able to install all the apps i had before except clean master. While installing. I always get that -24 error.
I hope someone could help me with this. I really find that app useful.

I did. Actually, i tried it off the playstore and manual installation. All i got from the playstore is that -24 error. And when i tried installing it manually through apk installation) it always get that installation error
try downloading from
http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/
Copy and paste link of the app from play store that you want.
And download and try reinstall it.
Or use This System Optimizer that cannot be found on google play, download and install it manually.
This one has full features including clearing caches, clearing broken apk, network speed indicator, task killer, forbidding undesired app at start up for faster booting, checking phone info, updating apps, all in one widget, etc...
It is just 5.3 MB, just like a premium app.
