Hi, may I know which roms have native app to sd as their feature? I'm currently using CM11 and, of course, that feature is not available.
Reason I'm asking native is because I don't want the hassle of partitioning my SD card and using other apps to move apps to external. So I'm just wondering if there's a ROM that has this feature by default.

Native Apps2SD is only available in Samsung touchwiz 4.2.2 or any ROM that are based on it like sungsonic or Microdelta Stock ROM...........

I mean now since the sd card slot is working can someone tell me if anyone has been working on a rom?
Not gonna happen until Google releases the HC source code. There are lots of other threads so if you search you might find more details!
The problem is not so much the working sd card (this will help for Clockwork Recovery), but for the rom the HC source is required and that hasn't been released yet.
Once Clock Work is working, will we be able to install Froyo ROMs?
Umm, I guess you could create a Froyo ROM but the question is why would you want to?

CWM is now working on both models. You can find it in the development section.

Cool now all we have to do is wait for the hc release for some roms.

I can't imagine wanted to downgrade to Froyo from honeycomb. Everytime I start to get disappointed there is no custom ROM I can't think of why I would want one yet. The Xoom is fast, responsive, and other than the SD card, works great. Built-in host mode support would also be nice.

That is what I mean by wait on the source code of honey comb to be released then they can make roms based off it.

What are you looking for in a ROM? I've only had an android phone for a few days (thunderbolt) but most of the ROMs I see don't really apply to the XOOM. The features seem to be things like:
-debloating
-removing or updating UI layers like sense
-porting stuff from other phones
-custom kernels (already avail. on xoom)
There are certainly some things that can be done without HC source
A custom ROM would be nice that included all the following without having to jump through a bunch of hoops:
Rooted
SD Card Support
USB Host Mode

Something similar to Bugless Beast or Cyanogen. The things you mention are usually part of or included in ROM's.

I do believe one-click root does most of if not all of what you mentioned.

Hey I'm new to xda and android, and I have CM7 n42 on my g2x with faux's kernel and everything is running great.
I have been using the cm7 30fps camera here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1094424
But, I was wondering if there was a way to have the camera write to the internal sd instead of the external. I only have a class 4 card and I was wondering if writing to internal would help keep up with large files? Thanks to anyone who can help

The answer would depend not only on personal preference but also on compatibility with which ROM you want to use, with which kernel, and what type of sdext you would like to use. I think lots of users also use cronmod but I have little experience with move to sd scripts because I think they're more trouble than they're worth.
Post your desired ROM and kernel, somebody may be able to help you more easily. Or if you aren't getting any responses try reading through the threads of the ROM and/or kernel you are using.
My phone is running on stock gb with tagb kernel, I would like to use cronmod script but which one is recommended? Int2ext or a2sd++?? What is the difference? HOW WILL I INSTALL SOME APPS ON INTERNAL MEMORY IF I WANT TO, AFTER INSTALLING CRONMOD INT2EXT.

I like titanium backup pro.
Hello
Do you got inconsistent lag/hang after using Jelly Bean custom rom?
This workaround might fix your problem.
1. Dont install app to SD Card.
(or just eject the SD card and use your galaxy ace 2 for a while)
If this fix your problem, then you only need to buy very fast SD card
2. Dont use the SD card tweak on Supercharger script.
on my case, it makes starting app feels faster but making the phone more easily lag/hang when running multiple app from sd card
On my case, running multiple apps that's installed on SD card make the performance go down significantly.
Sorry for the bad english.
Thanks/
And use 'seeder' app for entropy generator
Sent from my GT-I8160 using xda app-developers app
For me seeder generates many lags and freezes so i don't use it anymore my tipp just make you sd card free and delete useless things that there are not so many files need to load and use sd-maid it's helping a lot you can download it at google play
IMO Seeder is placebo. Use some scripts like V6 or PurePerformance.

Tried pure Performance but i got laggs if i have installed so i uninstalled it
So best is V6.

For me, im using clean master to remove Junk File(s)...
Best tipp use cm it's sooooo smooth and gaming performance is amazing no need for tweaks or taskiller if using cm10

with seeder v7 very smooth for me
I'm looking for something close to stock stability and that has the format SD card as internal function.
Anything else is optional, I don't care about the fisheye camera bug and I'm confortable with MIUI and roms that aren't fully translated.
I'm currently using SLiMM 3.6 but that keeps bugging out me and it will only boot with no SD card in.
Thanks!

The most stable ROM's are stock and stock based ones. They have basically no bugs and work without problems. Take your time, find which is best for you. I can't tell you specifically, because everyone has different tastes and needs. Custom ROM support is very little. Your best bet on custom ROM's could be CM12.1. Everything works, but camera has fisheye bug. Some developers are working on Nougat CM14.1, but it's not stable and it has to improve in a lot of ways. So, like I said: take your time, test, expirement, and when you find your favorite, use it.
