What I want is to have toggles right in the Notification tray.
It looks like this app would do the job: Power Toggles
Right now I either need to press a button in the upper right corner of Notification tray to get to toggles or swipe notification tray with 2 fingers (can't do this with one hand) to get to toggles screen.
But I already have Xposed and GravityBox and wonder if this functionality is already there. If it is - I don't know how to activate it.
It is not in GravityBox. There is also another option in Notification Toggles:

There's an option for a fast toggle in GravityBox. Set it s if you swipe down from the upper right corner (or left if you prefer) it automatically opens to the toggles. Or you can see it to open to toggles by default unless you have a pending notification.

I don't know if this helps, but i believe you can swipe the bottom bar of the notification shade to get to the toggle panel, but personally i use gravity box with the quick toggle set to the right side

Quick toggle from upper right corner is what will work for me. Thanks

There has to be a way to hide the status bar. obviously in numerous diff launchers, there is the option to swipe up or down to hide/bring back your noti bar. the noti bar lies within the systemUI.apk (or so i can tell via switching themes). anyone know how to edit the xml that allows for hiding the noti bar? it looks sick when i adb push the systemui.apk and it dissappears. Help!
the statusbar has the home, back, menu keys built in; its probably a bad idea to hide it
I was thinking about this also. It would be nice for apps to go true fullscreen and overlap the status bar. Maybe its an app issue but Remote RDP Lite makes it awkard as when I set the resolution to 1280x800 the bottom part actually gets covered by the status bar.
I suppose I can set it to be like 1280x750 or something...

I'd like the option to hide it whenever.

this would likely require use of a hardware button, since I dont think android CAN support gestures that work over all apps, and I cant think of any other input method you could use
edit: wouldnt be a bad use of the power button since the battery is good enough without it needing to sleep and the lockscreen is sort of pointless because its not in your pocket. Maybe a popup menu on the power button like on phones?
I'd like the ability to move the status bar to the top. This would make it easier to access when I'm holding it with my left hand and resting it on my legs. Right now, if I move my left hand to hit back or home, I then need to grab my xoom with my right hand to keep it steady.
One option would be to use the up down volume keys to move the status bar up or down. Volume could be handled more easily from the notification tray, it isn't as necessary as on a phone to have an alway accessible volume button.
Is there any way to edit what widgets/settings are shown with the 2 finger swipe? I want to add auto rotation so I don't have to go to settings then display and then switch back to my app.

Rooted? If so, Xposed Framework + Gravity Box can do it. If not, Power Toggles would probably be your best bet. Although Power Toggles won't allow you to edit the quick settings tiles, you should still be able to put toggles in your notification pull down menu (1 finger pull down).

Just root it and get Cataclysm which is really close to stock.
I am using power toggles which creates a custom extension to the notification window when you pull the notifications down. Its useful for having quick toggle buttons. I notice that you can swipe it away and it will not come back unless you reopen the application. In other skins you cannot swipe it away it stays locked.
Anyone?

With the new update you get a new button on your nav bar. A small white dot - bottom left. Press it and you get immersive mode i.e. no more nav bar. However, i would rather use that button for something else.

I don't think I have that option
I just got my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra the other day and there's something pretty frustrating that I'm hoping someone can help me out with. There is a feature that allows you to swipe down on the home screen to pull down the notification panel. This this feature is disabled, or you're on any other screen other than the home-screen, there is only a very very very thin line that represents the notification bar that registers you pressing when wanting to pull the notification bar down. Its even worse when I have my case on. I have to try press and dragging somewhere between 5-7 times before it works.
I guess I'm just wondering if there is a way or setting to expand the area at the top that acknowledges the notification pull-down feature. Currently, so far as I can tell, it measures at about .25cm vertical area that recognizes the drag-down feature. Can we increase to .5 or maybe even .75cm vertical area?
Use Nova Launch, in the settings go to gesture. From there you can do whatever you want.
You can also put another bottonin your Nav bar that pull down the notification on any apps anywhere. In the Good Lock app go to the NavStar. Choose a new configuration or long press on the navbar option of your choice and you can put more button on it. I have 7 and they're all very useful for me.
