Shouldn't it say "Root access granted"?
Dont suppose you use and updated gravity box without a reboot lately have you? I know that can change certain messages to be other text if a reboot hasn't occurred.

No I don't use gravity box. This isn't specific to faux clock. I just took a screenshot when it popped up. It pops up often no matter what app I'm using.

its a setting in an app that you have to disable. its your job to find which app is causing it, since you know what apps that you have installed.
Disabling notifications for FauxClock fixed this in my case

Pretty sure it was faux clock causing the popup. Maybe a bug in his new beta or the intelli ksm feature.

Interesting. I've been directed here as I have the same issue. Started yesterday. I am going to disable Fauxclock notifications and will report back.
Ah finally, I am getting this as well thanks for the heads up.
It's a beta feature Now FauxClock is out of beta, you should update to production version

It's the default messaging app. Go into the settings in the default app and disable notifications if you're going to use the Handcent ones.
The default is already disabled. The other comment is right, i installed beautiful widgets but I don't see where to disable notifications.

It must be a glitch because default was disabled and it was still showing up. Once I deleted beautiful widgets and add on it went away. I think this was the same issue the other poster had.

No idea if this is a ICS custom rom thing, but I remember it happened on stock as well.
When trying to install an .apk from sdcard (sideloading), I get the PackageInstaller confirmation window. Sometimes the right side where the OK button is, is non responsive (left side on Cancel can be clicked). After some trying, it works. Now, I have no idea what causes this, but it's ****ing annoying and seriously makes me want to throw the phone up the wall.
Anyone else noticed this ?

I tried uninstalling Lux and responsiveness was suddenly back, it recognized the touch everytime.
Compatibility is on -> screenshots
When I restored Lux back again, the responsiveness went back to nonconsistant, sometimes it works fine, mostly it ignores the touch.

You might have to wait a couple of seconds before Lux disables itself. Lux needs to poll to check the current foreground app and disable itself. It polls every 3 seconds, unless it has detected the same app a few times in a row, in which it slows polling down to 9 seconds.

No problem. I wish there was a cleaner solution, but alas the Android API doesn't provide an intent which warns apps that a secure view is being shown.
Really Android should be drawing secure fields above everything else, rather than disabling the view - whoever thought that was a good idea isn't very intelligent.

Your wakelocks or horrible. You need BBS as stated, but the instant drop is indicative of a bug in the stock rom or kernel. If it keeps doing that after the wakelock issues are resolved, you may need to flash another rom.

I think Google search incorporates Google Now which yes, mega battery drain in my opinion especially if it is polling for location constantly.
edit: that looks like my battery stats when I don't try to conserve energy and have heavy usage.

Doubt it's your kernel. I'm running stock and suffering as well :/ It could also be a defect, some run fine others don't. Same with the same speaker issue, some newer owners especially the red ones claim it sounds better as the old ones.

Try switching to ART runtime, it seems to be much smoother. Im using Franco's kernel with a lot of downgrading in setup and yet I don't experience lags.
I did think about switching to ART but to be honest i dont want to lose anything in terms of stability but hopefully soon it will become part of an update so if lag is normal on dalvik now i dont mind waiting i just wanted to see if its normal or im doing something wrong

Installing updates from Play doesn`t make the phone laggy unless there is a problem with an app or some apps. Rebooting after installing updates clears most problems most of the time.

These look ok, but they don't seem to have pocket mode as well like Mahdi rom does...
And they're not the same. The notifications don't start as icons on the right that you can slide to view.
Use Mahdi ROM, or even AOSPAL. Even the other Roms with it as well, because I don't think you will find an app with the exact look, or pocket mode at all. It's seems to be more of an Internal type of feature.

Barely any, only about 1-3% from a 100% charge to 5%.
The Gravity Screen app in the Play Store is similar but works slightly differently, you can use that if your ROM doesn't have pocket mode.

I know that Carbon, Paranoid Saberdroid and Mahdi ROM has it, along with lockscreen notifications. Also, note that the battery drain that Gravity Screen would show is negligible across time (most I ever saw is 5% from a 100% charge), but if you check your battery only after a short period of a few minutes it'll appear to use around 25% battery, so don't worry if it appears to use a lot in the first few minutes. Also recommend to have Wake by motion and Keep screen on by motion turned off.

Yes it has but I've tried it and it does not catch all notifications for me. And when clicking some notifications it would stay at the lockscreen so I would have to manually unlock after pressing the notification. It worked very inconsistent for me. Worked much better when I was using the Mahdi-rom.
