Guys can anyone help me to find a Kitkat rom with all the features (well... most of them) like the carbon rom 4.3.1 with Status bar settings, notification settings, side bars, battery bar etc :laugh: thankyou.
have you tried cyanogenmod 11 dude
here is the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2535682
Yeah I tried it, but it doesn't have ribbons(I could use 3rd party apps but it slows down the phone), battery bar on statusbar, battery icons, etc.
The perfect example is Carbon rom.

The perfect example is Carbon rom. But it doesn't have those in the 4.4 kitkat version.
I tried AOSP, Beanstalk, Omni, AOKP.

Is it possible to bring the stock TW contacts app into any AOSP ROM? I like the benefit of having the latest Android software of an AOSP ROM, but I really dislike the contact app. It is really hard to see with the white background. I have looked all over xsa for a solution. You would think it would be easy as the GMAil 4.2 substitute. I am not sure what files to use.

Have you tried Slim Bean rom? It has all apps inverted and,I believe, the contacts as well. It used to be called the Real Dark Slim addon on but "after 4.2.2 build 2. It's now integrated into the ROM with a toggle." I too hated the white background on contacts. Good luck

Thanks for the reply. I did try Slim in the past. "pre 4.2". I am not sure if the ROM had issues with the graphics or what. It seemed not very sharp after installation. Everything looked fuzzy. I even tried Eclipse ROM. I will figure out something. I just like the look of the stock TW contacts. The app also additional features. At the moment LiquidSmooth has the best 4.2.2 ROM out there.
In general TouchWiz apps cannot be used in AOSP ROMs. On a personal note I loath the TW phone and contacts app. Mainly because you cant swipe between the recently called, favorites, keypad etc.

who knows if the actual stock contact app is actually TW. I just like how it looks. The black background looks better than the white background of AOSP. The stock actually has the same screens where you can move back and forth. I am putting this topic to rest. It is a lost cause. I was going to see if I could replace it using root explorer, but decided against it and it wasnt worth the trouble. Oh well.

It deferentially requires the tw framework. If you want a dark AOSP contacts app search for it. There are lots of inverted stock apps floating around and incorporated into ROMs.

Have the P3110 which means I have the WiFi only model. I am torn between Cyanogenmod 10.1 and Pac Rom. CM10.1 is more popular and it's like stock Android. The problem I have with CM is the notifications pulldown, I want the default sliding toggles that come with Touchwiz, not the square tiles, which look like they just waste space. That's my only problem with CM. Then I looked at Pac Rom and thought "Wow that looks sexy, all those vibrant colors!" and it had the option to change the UI between Tablet UI, Phablet UI, and another option I forgot. So I am swaying more towards Pac Rom, but I read the replies and it looks like there are lots of bugs, specifically the glitched boot animation, and apparently some glitches with the nav bar and changing the UI. What ROM is better for me?
If you can wait, than choose P.A.C man, it will suit you the best.
Sounds like you want a 4.1.x rom rather than a less stable 4.2.x rom. I'll always suggest aokp milestone 1 to everyone.

I want 4.2, but it sounds like there's no stable 4.2 ROM yet. I still want it though, what is the most stable 4.2 ROM?

But the tiles are ugly, is there any way to change them to sliding toggles?
No, this tiles are the new feature of 4.2.2, but you can have your old toggles back if you activatet them in Settings>System but you can not make the tiles disappair
There's a free app called notification toggles that you can use if you like the sliding toggles.

CM10.1 or AOSPA3+ for me.
I use Power Toggle widget. Very convenience, everything on/off is one click away.
I'm loving cm 10.1, defgo recommend it

PAC Rom
FATURES:
* All in One Rom [CM, AOKP and PA]
* PhoneUI, TabletUI, PhabletUI
* Latest Version 23.0.0
* Some Features from AOKP
* All Feautures from PA (the one with the chaging UIs, ie: Phone, Phablet and Tablet)
* All Features from CM (based on the RC4 CM10.1)
* Of course JellyBean 4.2.2
* Ketut.kumajaya's Kernel (black hawk kernel)
*just join the thread to further improve the ROM by reporting bug issues.
i recommend you use PACROM. it has everything fromCM10.1, AOKP, and paranoidandroid. it's basically CM10.1 on steroids.
I just switched over to PA and it seems to be the one ROM I like the most out of all the ones I've tried (AOKP, CM, CarbonRom). However, I liked having the power toggles at the top of my screen along with the weather widget that CM and CarbonROM had (cLock). Are these missing in PA? I assume cLock is missing since it by CM, but are the power toggles missing as well?
If either or both of these are missing, what are my best alternatives?

Could try Rootbox. It's not on 4.3 yet, but it has features from CM, AOKP, and PA all bundled in one, along with a few of it's own tweaks. I have it running on almost all of my devices (minus my Rezound): both Nexus 7's, Galaxy Nexus, and my S3.
It seems like Xposed for Lollipop will not be released any time soon, so I'd like to request some mod to customize quick settings, clock position, battery icon/text, ...
Thank you for reading.
I'm considering going back to KitKat for Xposed. Not sure if fancy animations are worth the greatness of Gravitybox.
i didn't realise how dependent i became on Xposed and Gravity Box...is there an advanced power menu mod or app, at least?
Stock aosp.. Is just very.. Stock.. My craving for xposed on L is huge
I gone back to Paranoid with Art. I just cant stay without otg for pen drive, notification led settings, active display, changing stock launcher, etc...

Hey there,
i excessivly use custom navbar buttons (e.g. Chrome with Chrome Icon), but my current ROM BlissPop 2.0 got Lockscreen Lag, which I can't fix. And newer Versions of the ROM discontinued the extreme customizable Navbar Settings with the for me useless CM Navbar Settings.
I searched and searched, but no ROM seems to have the "old" Navbar Settings, where you can add what you want to it and change the Icon.
Now my ROM keeps lagging even more and I am searching for an alternative, maybe with customizable PIE controls. But not even the new ROMs seem to still have PIE Controls :/
Does anybody have a ROM suggestion for me ? Could also be an older Version (but available)...

Actually the best way to find out is to try for yourself for a few days. You just make a titanium backup of your apps. Then start flashing. Try every other roms and you would be surprised actually. I even tried the ROMS I never heard before but they were worth it actually.
Like Validus has awesome battery life and I have become a fan of it with its smoothness and tweaks. I would have never known if i have never tried it.
Also after every few days, redo your titanium backup of your apps like whatsapp and other messaging/notes app if they are not synced online.
