Hii,
I'm new here and my phone is XT926 unlocked global phone.
I'm having problem can't receive apk file from bluetooth other phone. Anyone have similar experience like me?? Howto solve that ??
Also I want to know if is there any setting to just use 2G network only (the current option i'm found is just to switch from Global to LTE/CDMA and to GSM/UMTS). I want to just use 2G network only because I oftenly travelling from place to place that don't have 3G network to do my work.
Appreciate for helping me :good:
Hello guys,
I have flashed my Moto G xt1032 8Gb into a GPE with this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2747181
But now i have an issue with H and H+ network .. I only have E (edge) and 3G in my notification bar, no H and no H+ (I live in France)
When i go to setting/about phone/stat, it' s noticed "mobile network type: HSPA", so why i don' t have the "H" in my notification bar ?
I am on KOT49H.M004 build with the latest NON-HLOS.bin from Motorola stock retail FR (MSM8626BP_1032.355.66.00R)
Can you help me ?
The GPE Moto G is only available in the USA, where most phones appear to show 3G instead of H/H+.. It's purely cosmetic, your phone can still access H/H+ networks but you just can't tell if it is.
You can use GravityBox (Xposed module) to enable the icon again if you wish, I prefer to leave it as is because my network type changes so often between 3G/H and H+ which gets annoying.

Dear All,
I am having issue of Network selection on my LG G3 D850.
1st of All sorry for my English.
Intro of Phone
Phone is rooted and Lollipop stock rom installed.
My Network is Zong (Pakistan) Frequencies are following
3G = 2100
4G = 1800
Issues
At start Network mode setting was not available under mobile network but now after changing ro.build.target_operator ATT to OPEN i got these setting in Network menu but now.
1. 3G not working in this cell phone my network frequency is 2100 and this cell phone also support this but why this is not working,
I have tried to check and change WCDMA mode it is showing 850 as selected but when i try to select the 2100 message show Fail.
2. Not switch automatically to LTE/4G (but some time after restart), when i select LTE/4G by selecting Manually LTE/4G network from manual searched Network list or after restart, Cell Phone unable to receive any phone call, caller receive message like cell phone switched or unable to reach or out of coverage etc,
3. when i dial *#*#4636#*#* after opening the Menu and selecting the Phone Information this application show message "this application dose not work on this device" and it close this menu.
No issue on 2G.
I also have tried Intelli3G but it was not working on KK or i dont know how to use it now i have LP I am not able to install Xposed i have installed the different version but not working i also flash a zip file which was working on Xperia Z1 but my Cell phone Rom got issues (All time message show LGSmartwatch (or something like that) stop working), so i again install LP on device.
I am New user of LG G3. please guide me
@wajeeh.ihi dial 3845#*855# on ur phone then select lte only then select modem settings then RAT SELECTION Then choose the 1st option which has lte auto in the end. Ull have to do this everytime u restart your phone to use 4g lte.
Hello wajeeh. need your help in editing that buildprop file. I managed to do it on stock lollipop rom but now i forgot.. Can you please help me out .
Thank you
Now you can also lock 2g, 3g, and 4g band but before that u want to root your devic ?
Explain the procedure plz !!
How ??
Edit build.prop: ro.build.target_operator = <here comes the name of the operator ATT >>>> by SCA
In addition also the icon on the status bar that is always on 4G, indicated correctly 2g, 3g or 4g.
Please elaborate the method.
ro.build.target_operator=OPEN
this will remove all atnt customization like atnt addressbook, 4g icon, default atnt contact, enable network switch , hotspot :good:

After changing ro.build.target_operator=OPEN and rebooting, got the network mode option, but Mobile Hotspot option changed to Wi-Fi Hotspot. And Wi-Fi hot spot is not getting turned on. Shows 'Turning On' for few seconds and goes back to previous state.
Mine is AT&T Unlocked phone. Making tether_entitlement_check_state=0 or 5 doesn't work either.
Got caught on Bootloop .. After Lg Logo LED is flashing and No At&nt logo or anything else
Hi
I just got an HTC U11 (128 GB/6 GB) and I updated it to the latest Android Oreo Software No: 2.33.401.19 /Stock No Root
And after update I deleted cash and hard reset the device.
My problem is 4G network drop ....... when I go to the basement the network drop from 4G to 3G, and when I go back upstairs or out of my home, where the 4G network coverage is available the phone keep with 3G network .
Nothing change until I change the network mode say for 2G and get it back to 2G/3G/4G Auto then I will get a 4G or 4G + for a while then it will drop again to H and 3G network !!!
Any fix for this issue ?!
Any body face such an issue ?!
Regards,
Update
After trying the code { *#*#4636#*#* } then phone information then Set Preferred Network Type: according to my Mobile service Support I have to select LTE/CDMA/GSM auto but that option is not available in the list instead there is another select menu item LTE/CDMA/UMTS auto, after selecting this there is no way to save it even after restart.
the selected item by default is LTE/UMTS auto (PRL) ...... and there is no way to change it !!!!
any idea guys

The settings is fine
but I believe that it's some power saving thing implemented in the firmware where changing networks take some time longer than other smartphones.
