Dear All,
I have MMX A110. I was using BSNL 3G on it from last 6 months but last suddenly it stopped working. I have come to know that if I put any 3G enabled card on slot 1 and activate 3g on phone then I can't make/receive calls, balance check and can't use internet too.
But if I put 2g card and do off 3g on phone then it works fine.
I took phone to service centre they re installed JB4.1.1 but no result.
So anybody here can help me?
Because previously I had A100 and XDA made a lot help to me.

Hi,
My issue is:
I purchased a brand new Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 on 14-Apr-2011.
I am facing the issue related to the connection to my phone network. After I switch on the phone, I get my mobile network signal for about 30 minutes and after that the "No Service" icon is enabled and there is no signal at all in my phone.
I checked the SIM card on a difference phone and there is abosolutely no issue in getting the network signal.
I tried a different service provider SIM on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 and I find there is no issue either.
The problem seems to occur only with my SIM card on this phone. I changed to a new SIM and apparently that also did not solve the issue.
I am also unable to find the "Network Mode" option under the network settings, which I would normally find in other phones.
I tried with the option "Use only 2G network" but that also did not help. I am not using any 3G service at the moment.
I am now stuck in this situation and not able to use my new phone.
I am from Chennai, India and use Vodafine India post paid service.
Hence seeking your kind advice to help me resolve this issue at the earlier.

Hi guys,
I am facing the very same issue.
I contacted my dealer and got the phone replaced.
They supposedly diagnozed some problem and issues a doa on the device
Now, even in my new phone i am facing the same issue
I am using vodafone postpaid and it works fine on any other phone
Also, ive tried my dad's airtel prepaid sim on this phone and it worked perfectly fine for over 2 days
I have tried searching for this issue on any thread for sometime and finally found this

I too have the same problem.
The Network often gets disabled.
i have to either switch off and on it (or go into flight mode and come back) for it to get enabled.
My Sim Card is fine since when i use it in a nokia phone i never get this problem.
Whats worrying me is that this looks more like a hardware problem ... i recently updated my firmware through kies from froyo (2.2) to gingerbread (2.3.4) ... still the problem is persisting.
Many guys are suggesting to contact my dealer .. but i purchased this phone through letsbuy.com. So that option might be a hassle.
So guys any info on this issue ...?

Hi Folks, same problem here in Brazil with S5830B, no service all the time! any ideas????????????????????
U can try to change the modem of the firmware with Odin Multidownloader... try to put an unbranded rom... that works for me in my ACE.
I hope your trouble is silved with this option.... check in the forum of the developement of galaxy Ace a forum for flashing the galaxy ace...
The problem is you guys didn't post in the device-specific forum .
Try flashing a different modem through ODIN

My issue is resolved once I updraded firmware of my phone thru Kies tp 2.3 from 2.2
also you can try following:
dial *#2263#
select GSM mode and then select 900/1800 (or may be if that does not work..select other bands. my was fixed when I selected 900/1800 after I got few emergency call only issue)

My problem is rely weird and annoying for me.. rite now i am using a Aircel gsm num and it was working fine for last one year, but now my ph has came up with a problem its network get dissapper automatically and it says NO SERVICE OR EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY. For 1st time i thought that the problem is with sim card so i got my sim card replaced ... i have also tried other company's sim they are working proply.. bt only my num is not working with it. My same aircel sim is working fine with my other handsets samsung corby nokia etc...
Few monts ago I have also rooted my ph with the help of Xda .. after rooting it was working fine... when the prblm occur I re falashed my ph with samsung ofical rom... after flashing the problm goes away for some time bt after one or two dae same thing starts again...
Now pls help me out what should I do now... my ph is out of warranty.
And the mobile is an Indian version...

It's a network problem... Select 2g preferred in network settings and automatic in network operators...

I have alrdy done it its not network issue .. I have clearly stated that the same sim card is work fine with other phones...
Have tried 2g only mode and auto mode... bt still not working...
gets the network bars only for few times and again no service :crying:

The oficial frimware that i used was S7500DDLG1_S7500ODDLD2_INU...
Whats the diffrence btwn S7500DDLG1_S7500ODDLD2_INU... and S7500DDLG1_S7500ODDLD2_INS..
which one is correct for me to use with indian mobile networks Aircel vodafone airtel or other one's

I think the problem is with EFS which contains IMEI.
Dial *06# in Keypad to check IMEI compare it with the IMEI written behind the Phone.

try other simcards from same or different operators
if they work fine then its your sim card problem or a network problem
if you flash stock rom then it works fine and after some days it wont works thats quite interesting
better try another simcard or get a new one
if same problem then maybe a problem with a sim antenna

I was also experiencing same prob
but after browsing i foud that it was issue of major people.so i thought maybe the prob is in firmware of DDLD1,i tried flashing another firmware of other country and it worked.
I flashed taiwan version ZULC1 and kept network mode to auto nd my network issue is solved.
download the firmware and flash it from odin.

I have SLOVENIAN Mobitel , and installed it's own firmware ,now it is connecting faster than it was but not as I have wanted ,so I have the same problem ,which really makes my phone useless , I'm using CM10.1.2 LATEST VERSION

I am also having exact Similar problem of not getting Network for a PARTICULAR number in Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus. In My case, the service provider is AIRTEL instead of AIRCEL. To be frank, I don't know anything about rooting/Xda and all the things you'd done to get this fixed. Could you please let me know the steps to get this resolved as Currently I am going through this pain. my Email-id is [email protected] . I would really be very thankful to get the solution.

i m using alcatel 985d/idea aurus dual sim .
1) if i m using both same network operator sims (sim1 idea+sim2 idea) then result = no or very low netwrork with sim2 idea n notifies "restricted access changed.
if using sim1 idea and 2nd sim other network(videocon) result=ok network both.
2)wen i switch network mode to 2g network of sim1 is also goes very low or 0.wen switched to auto mode network is ok.
though i m using 2g network..
plz help how to use both idea sims with full network bars. i already used signal booster for rooted bt =0 result.
i think solution is with rom.
plz suggest any solution

i just purchased a used note 2 today N7100(unlocked international)
it was on version 4.1.1 official samsung
i flashed with odin to 4.3 indian stock rom.
now the phones working but the sim card is not registered on the network. it says emergency calls only.
i checked the phone its not at all black listed and the guy from whom i purchased was using it with his sim in it.
it cozed issues only after i flashed it to 4.3. also this is a phone from dubai as the guy told me.
the imei no is showing still but the network wont get registered. plz help asap!! thanks in advanced.

have you tried using other sims? maybe its not compatible with your specific sim.
maybe you just dont have any coverage, when i get the "not registred on network" message, it usualy means i'm underground, or in a place with low cell coverage, like in the woods or mountains.

The phone is factory unlocked so no issues related to not compatible and I tried with another sim too. Still the same problem. The problem only came when I flashed the 4.3 Indian stock rom. But that rom doesn't have any problem coz I've used on other note 2 too. Something related with the phone.
Hi there if you go into settings and then about device and then status you will be able to see if you have a service state if you don't have any but the network operator appears as well as signal stats. You most likely have a black listed iemi or something happened to the iemi when flashing the rom or more simple is the sim slot is broken. Hopefully you will be able to fix it sorry I can't give you that much help on this subject.

propably your efs is corrupted, ALWaYS BACKUP EfS BEFORE DOING REFLASH!
The DN4 rom is very nice and worked very smoothly, however I did get any single at my phone only WiFI worked and when I checked the network setting of my phone, it kept asking me install USIM cart .please help .
