Android N9000 (i9220) Chinese Phone - Dead --- HELP PLEASE

Hi All,
I just rooted the Android Note N9000 (i9220) but wanted to install some custom apk in sys\app folder to change the look and feel. I was able to this at a great extent using TouchWiz apk and all looked good until i went ahead and decided to change the browser apk in the sys\app folder.
I went ahead and downloaded the browser apk from online and then renamed the old browser.apk file as browserold.apk and this is were the phone started alerting to stop some application and after that phone rebooted.
Once it rebooted it does not go beyond the "Logo" screen and it keeps flashing that so went ahead and tried few of this options but no luck,
Recovery mode - Unfortunately i did not do any back-up and cleaned partitioned and cache but unable to do anything beyond that?
I do not have Custom Recovery Mod also with me so no much luck there also
I tried connecting to PC but the phone recognizes in Control Panel of Windows 7 but the drive is not available to install any file...
Please help!!!!! Need to get this phone back to normal asap.

I would recommend to go on one from known brands and not to deal with bull****!

Sad to be said you need to flash with the original firmware again with SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1206.01. By the way how do you root this phone N9000??
Can you help me root with what method??

tpsparkyroot not work for me, it need to booting 3x times
1st time booting done well
2nd time booting -> not recognized device
did this also happened to you ?

Hope you were able to fix the problem with your device? However, I do need an assistance from you, I use the same device Android Note N9000 i9220 and would love you to teach me how to root it. Please note I'm a newbie to Android so pls try to be as detailed as possible.

[Q] Need Help on Bricked Framaroot Boromir Rooted Cherry Mobile Amber

Hi! I'm new to xda, I need immediate help but I'm not sure how and whom to address it. I ran across xda while desperately looking for posts about Cherry Mobile phones. I hope you can help or direct me to anyone who can.
I rooted my Cherry Mobile Amber successfully via Framaroot Boromir. It was ok, until curiosity killed the cat, and I renamed one of the Roboto system fonts. Hoping I can replace it but, I accidentally reboot before I can replace it. Since then it won't complete boot up process and gets stuck on the android logo.
Is there still a way to restore that font and/or get my phone running again?
For anyone who wants to help me out, I can still access the Power+VolumeUp and Power+VolumeDown menus ok. But have no idea if I can do anything from there to fix the issue. And the phone is MTK6572.
And i found this link, it may be close to the answer I need. Can somebody "dumb" it down for me?

hi,
i suggest odin bcoz u write that u can use it, there also lot of flashing tools for MTK devices, just google & use them, they are also very simple & user friendly.
Just give try... ur problem will be resolved...it's normal issue with...

Recently(today) i rooted myphone with framaroot. i installed rom toolbox and the started to change fonts. i applied one font and then i rebooted my phone.but now its not booting up.ias i saw that it wont boot up i pulled out battery and rebooted.it loads lg boot logo and animation but it wont load homescreen.it loads endlessly.
i also tried to wipe data by buttons but when i get the recovery mode loading,it immediately reboots.also i know very little about unbricking android phone by pc.IF YOU CAN HELP ME I AM VERY GRATEFULL(hope thats how they write it)

[Q] ROOT for Archos 50 Diamond

Hey guys,
i'm currently here with my Archos 50 Diamond. Because of VPN (Cisco Anyconnect) i need to root my device.
Is there a way to root a Kernel from 4. feb 2015? (Kernel version 3.10.28 Android 4.4.4)
I'm not new in rooting devices, but i have never do it completly by myself.

I also have this phone now, but my attempts to achieve root have thus far been unsuccessful.
I managed to get as far as for the OS to see my phone as several partitions on a mass storage device, where I can see the /system and /data partitions, amongst others, but any attempt to write on those partitions gives me errors in the EXT4 file system.
Any attempt to use one of those "One-Click" solutions was also unsuccessful.

Performance is ok, few lags here and there, but probably the applications I did install on it!

I have tried the above mentioned temporary cwm recovery and root my device successfully.
I already installed some ported app (sony walkman) through cwm recovery and its working 100%.
May be next update the cwm recovery can be installed permanently.

I have away to roo the archos beta firmware in a twrp backup image all you have to do is the install twrp recovery first and then put the twrp recovery data create a twrp folder on your sd card and lolipop will be rooted.

[Q] Need help to update Samsung Galaxy S III I9300

Hello folks,
i am new here, i have a problem with one of my friends mobile Samsung Galaxy S III I9300 Android v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich), it so happened he dropped the mobile from his hand and from that moment, the device fails to load properly.
I tried to go to Recovery mode, by pressing Power key+DownVol key+Home key. The next screen was all fuzzy, it didn't show anything.
So i tried Power key+UpVol key(this time)+Home key, it showed a warning page, please see images to be more clear.
On continuing with the process, it went to Download mode.
I am little familiar with that process, since it is trying to update the device OS to a newer version of Android.
I did a little research and found out there was Android 4.4.4 Kit Kat available.
I can proceed to download that, but i want to know few things and i.e.,
The device is not Rooted.
CWR is not installed.
Whether it is safe to proceed with the update of Android Ice Cream Sandwich to Android Kit Kat.
I also found Galaxy S III can be updated to 4.3 (Jelly Bean), but i want your opinion which would be suitable for this device.

Hello again, i did a little research and found out this site, where it mentions in detail how to install ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.4.7 on Galaxy S3 GT-I9300

I did as mentioned in the tutorial and while opening the Odin, and checking the AP button, and selecting the non touch version of ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.4.7 ; i am getting this error. Please see the snapshot.
It also say, PIT partition not found, does anyone know how to figure out this problem.

Is it a hardware issue, do i need to change the motherboard or give it to technician to fix it.

First off: Have you tried posting it under the correct category on this forum? its under galaxy core... you have a galaxy S 3
Second, you can update if it stock... custom recoveries and roms do void warranty. That is, if the kitkat is for his phone it is no problem. upgrading wrong rom to your phone will mess with it yes. Boot loops and stuff.
Then again, if it droped I would rather have sent it in for repairs if it was still under the warranty .

I find it quite difficult to find my way in this forum, just newbie here.
But thank you for your concern. My friend has taken the mobile , he thinks its better to repair it by technician.
Enough of head-ache for a device that can't be repaired through updating, the mobile was trashed. Couldn't be salvaged through

On top of the page there are 2 places you can enter stuff, one says "type to find device" and the other for searching all the forums. Writing i9300 - and clicking on the line - will get you the I 9300 forums

[Help] Need to root Vodafone Vodacom Power Tab 10

Hello...as the title states, I need help to root my Vodafone Vodacom Power Tab 10. The tablet runs on Android 5.1 and is fairly new to the market, only available in South Africa.
Now I've tried all sorts of root apk's and PC software including KingRoot, Kingo Root, Framaroot, SRSRoot, etc, but none of these have been able to root my device.
Note I cannot boot into recovery mode, but I can boot into Fastmode.
So if anyone out there can, please help.

but yes i have tried everything you have and possibly more ..
but all i can find is that it is an Alcatel one touch Pixi3 (10) rebranded as a vodacom power tab 10
but that hasnt helped me much either ..
Please let me know if you find a rooting option that works

I'm assuming you're talking about the thread at My broadband.(cannot post links as yet). Just google the title of this thread and the other should also appear on google.
I got a reply on it with a way that might help to root this device. haven't tried it yet cause I only saw the reply just now. will try the method and report back.

I have a tablet called Vsun Vtab 3G that has similar specs to yours, I successfully root it with KingRoot 4.8.5 APK, but before using this method you should enable USB Debugging and Unlock Bootloader in Developer Options, if you don't have Dev Options you can have it by clicking in Build Number in About Tablet for 5 times! Hope it works, and I hope you can find a working custom recovery!

Rooting not successful
Got the same tab. Used the APK, tablet did an upgrade load afterwards, and is now stuck in the recovery menu. Nothing wants to load. Any advice?

Have you managed to get a rom? I'll let you know if I find anything to fix it.

Is there any progress on this device. My device board is same as this one.
